I had a truly enjoyable stay at Hotel Faros. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and tidied up daily — a nice touch that made the stay feel extra relaxing. The balcony was definitely the highlight. I loved having breakfast there in the morning and just sitting in the evenings, watching the ferries come and go. It was peaceful, cozy, and especially beautiful at night with the quiet surroundings and soft lighting. A perfect spot to unwind. The only downside was the bathroom — the shower tended to flood the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. But aside from that, everything else was great. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and charming place to stay.

Hotel Faros was a beautiful family run hotel, you felt at home. Anything you needed, Konstantina and the family were happy to help. They even provided us with an overview of the island when we arrived and let us check in an hour early. The location is great, a 5 minute walk to the port and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. The room is deep cleaned everyday by the most lovely lady. Aircon works beautifully. Overall a beautiful hotel in ios.

It was close to the port, and the stairs to walk to the Hora. Also, within 150m there was safe parking. The room had enough space and a lovely balcony with privacy, since there was no building across the street. The room had a water boiler and cups to prepare tea and coffee. If interested, you could get utensils and plates/bowls to prepare breakfast. The price was affordable and a good value.

The fact that is on the road that gets busy....Gets noisy even at night. Plus, it's dangerous to walk along this road, too many cars...What I personally find annoying is that at Greek Hotels, there are no shower curtains!The whole bathroom gets wet when one showers...! I mentioned it to the owners. They said that there were curtains but customers don't want them because they get stuck on them while showering...Well, it's normal to happen with a 70x70cm small shower!!! Foe me, that's a problem. Maybe not for the next person

The breakfast was good and plentiful. More than I could eat. On my last morning there, I had to get an early ferry. They made me a breakfast that morning that I could take on the ferry to eat and drink it. That was very nice and thoughtful. This is a family run hotel and all members were there and helpful. The room was clean. The dad even carried my luggage up the stairs for me. I was within short walking distance of the ferry, bus station, and beach.

I was not in the actual village. I would take the bus up to the village and then walk back down the hill/mountain to the hotel, in the evening. Bus was only 2 euros on way so actually worked out well. The walking path to and from the village. I had no issues/problems with the hotel

Hotel is very close with easy access to the beach and port if travelling by ferry. It's next to the stairs that lead to the main city Chora. We got a sea view room and the view is actually really nice. The room seemed clean. The host lady with great English skills welcomed us upon arrival at the reception desk. There as a kettle in the room - very important as we like to make our own instant food. We were allowed to leave our bags after check-out (but they were placed literally by the open door in the empty reception, anyone from the street could just enter and grab them. I know it's my responsibility to leave bags after check-out, just pointing out this situation).

The fridge was quite loud and making it hard to sleep. Reception desk was usually empty after arrival and there wasn't anyone to ask about some daily stuff. There wasn't a doorhandle tag to indicate no cleaning needed. I think the hotel is a family business - great, but after arrival we couldn't rest and had to leave quickly to get some peace because there was a sweet, but really noisy little girl running up and down the hall all the time. Shower head in the bathroom was severely leaking.

It was perfect for our travels. great value for money. all the facilities you would need. two beds, a cute balcony and space to put clothes. Lovely staff that have great recommendations. Great place

The hotel is beautiful and homey at the same time. The family that owns it is wonderful, helpful and very welcoming. The rooms are adorably furnished and the terrace comes with a string to dry your clothes which is such a nice thought. Cleaning is done every day and the rooms are impeccable. Had such a wonderful stay and we really can't wait to come back.

Family running the hotel is so kind and always available when you need something. Cleaning services provided everyday. Love the open balcony. Amazing location right by the port, beach, and close to town. Great price too!

Beds are a little uncomfortable but for the price could be expected. The bathroom and room is very small and the shower curtain sticks to you while you shower. No hot water either.

Beautiful property in fantastic location. Close work to main port, restaurants and shops. Steep hill into main town (about 5 mins) or alternatively bus stop right outside. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day. Loved the outside patio area.

Bathrooms a little small and outdated - shower was tiny ! But other than that clean.
