EVERYTHING! A professional family owned business with exceptional level of service. Their genuine hospitality made our stay memorable. The room was fully renovated and spacious, with an amazing view towards the port of IOS. The bed was comfortable, while they provide daily cleanliness and change of towels. The breakfast with a sea view - wow - freshly baked pastries and pies, local fruits and eggs cooked to order. Mr. Vangelis is the heart of the hotel having always an interesting story to share! Lastly, don’t forget to visit the spotless clean swimming pool and definitely have a drink/ cocktail made by Vangelis, enjoying the sunset.

It’s an excellent hotel where we had wonderful time. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, the beds were super comfortable. We stayed in three islands in several places, and this was by far the best hotel among them in terms of comfort and quality although the prices of the most of them were similar. Apart from that the family that runs the hotel makes everything to make you have a great holiday and to make you feel at home. This makes a huge positive difference too. If you are without a car, Homer’s Inn is perfectly situated, as there is a bus stop right front of the hotel, from where you can go to all different beaches of Ios easily. It’s close to all attraction points but not in any of them, which gives you the opportunity of having a very calm and relaxing time, great view of the port and Youlos beach, while having an easy access to them, whenever you want. Overall, we had a great time in Ios and Homer’s Inn and would certainly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the island.

This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the loveliest stay here and couldn’t have asked for better! We were collected from the port and greeted by the owner who showed us on a map all the things to do in Ios and his mother who greeted us with fresh squeezed orange juice. We were brought to our room and our cases were carried there for us and it was a beautiful big room with massive bathroom and a lovely terrace. It was outstanding! Chilled water already in the fridge for us, safety deposit box, a sofa! The pool was gorgeous, very clean and comfortable with lots of sunbeds and a family run pool bar which served great cocktails and some food. We had club sandwiches and wedges both days we stayed here and they were lovely. We were particularly hungover one day and the Fanta orange with ice and club sandwich really hit the spot lol great location with the bus stop literally right across the hotel or you could walk to the port (10 mins) or into chora (15 mins uphill steps). We walked down from chora several times and it was a lovely walk with stunning views and so peaceful. We had so much fun in Ios and this hotel was the perfect base for us, so relaxing and comfortable we couldn’t have asked for more. We were dropped to the port on our last day and given recommendations for our next stop at Naxos which was just lovely. Highly recommend!

Our experience at Homer’s Inn was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming — it was immediately clear that this is a family-run hotel, and we were treated like part of that family throughout our stay. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and we felt completely looked after. The location is perfect: convenient, peaceful, and we always felt very safe. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Everything about this hotel is incredible! The room, the family run business, service, pool, food! It's like home from home. The family go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. We were picked up at the port as soon as we arrived, a glass of juice as we checked in, a detailed map and explanation of different locations and the buses with times and price. Luggage taken to our rooms and tour of our room and hotel. Welcoming smile every time we saw a member of the family! The TV has a Homer inn channel that let's you know when the next bus is.

The owners and staff of this hotel can’t do enough for you. They treat you like family and are so helpful and informative of the island and places to visit and where to eat. Location excellent just up the hill from a lovely port and either a walk or bus ride to Chora at the top of the hill as the bus stops right outside the hotel. The pool and pool area is stunning with amazing views. Everywhere is immaculately clean and the wifi is great for those who need it. The staff make this place so special and we only wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely go back.

Family that ran the hotel were fantastic - drove us to and from the port free of charge and were very helpful for anything we needed or any questions we had. For example, we couldn’t get a taxi to Pathos one evening, and they rang a friend who was a taxi driver who brought us there! Such nice people! Room was really spacious with a nice little balcony, had everything we needed. Pool area was really nice with a lovely little bar there. Really friendly man who ran the bar. Pool was really nice too.

This hotel is amazing! The staff are beyond kind, helpful and caring. They thoroughly explained the island to us and picked us up/dropped us off to the port without us even asking. The location is perfect, right out the front is a bus station with buses going every 15 minutes (July) although it is an easy, short walk to the port and main town Chora. Highly highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when I visit again, thankyou!!!

We had a lovely stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the area and island. The hosts are wonderful and we felt very very welcome and looked after. Rooms were very good. Two things that would have made it better was a kettle in the room to make a drink and a window in the second bedroom as it was incredible dark. Pool was lovely and was huge. There was a small kids pool too. Might need to think about seating to help parents with monitoring kids as there wasn’t any shade around the pool area near the kids pool. But there was shade by the pool bar.

As two girls island hopping, we felt completely safe in this hotel. This family run hotel is the kindest people. They picked us up from the port and greeted us with water and orange juice. They showed us a map of the island, information about taxis, bus's clubs and bars. The rooms are big clean and well air-conditioned, the swimming pool is huge, there is a little pool bar for drinks and food. It's about a 10/15 minute walk to town, They dropped us back off to the port when it was our time to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel.we had the best time!
