The pool terrace was fantastic with fabulous views across Ios port and the ocean beyond and the breakfast buffet was fantastic - such a wide choice of delicious foods. The old town and churches were not far to walk from Liostasi and the port area had steps going down to it but it was a good idea to get a bus back up when it was hot.

Our room was smaller than we anticipated (although the balcony was amazing) even though it's called a junior suite it is just an average sized room with no separate bathroom (the shower cubicle was in the bedroom area) and there was hardly any useful storage space for clothing and belongings for two people. Rooms aesthetically pleasing but not well thought out.

Could not fault this hotel at all. As soon as you arrive you’re greeted with smiles, friendly welcome and helpful guided tour of the hotel facilities. Our bedroom was a superior suite which was stunning & had a sea view. We had breakfast included with every day was delicious. We also tried the hotel’s restaurant Grandma’s kitchen and treated ourselves to their tasting menu. Oh my goodness died & went to heaven, absolutely outstanding food. The pool was always clean and we never had a problem getting a sunbed but if you did there was another pool to use in the private area. Stunning views of the island. Had a relaxing facial and massage in the Spa. Most beautiful calm atmosphere. Staff were all so very kind and attentive. So thank you to them including our lovely maid. The location was brilliant, 7 min walk up to restaurants & nightlife. Same down to the port, lovely restaurants down there. Would definitely return.

We actually laughed saying there was nothing we would change, honestly it was surreal.

This hotel was so beautiful, would recommend ! The staff were all so nice and helpful! The facilities and the room were amazing ! The spa was incredible ! The breakfast was so yummy ! We loved everything about this hotel ! The hotel offers free transfers from the port which was a big help and made our vacation stress free. The hotel let us in early and made sure we had all the information we needed for the island. I would stay here again and recommend. It was also a great location 10 mins all distance to the port and 7 min walking distant to the town.

If I had to choose one thing I’d say the there was a little noise and the rooms were abit close together eg balcony from another room overlooking our private pool. But honestly was not a big issue just one thing I noticed.

We loved everything - it was well located and perfectly private, while still offering great views and opportunities to enjoy the shared facilities. The staff were outstanding and from the moment of arrival, made it feel like you were in a luxurious resort and were willing to go above and beyond to make sure guests were happy.

Housekeeping could have been a little more attentive - we had some dirty pool towels and used glassware that that remained untouched in the room for a few days, but this was minor on an otherwise excellent stay.

Breakfast was amazing. So much variety. The staff were over the top attentive. The resort was so clean and modern. We had the suite with the private pool. It exceeded our expectations. View from our balcony was ok. They had an outdoor theatre movie night….so cool. We would have preferred the updated version of Moulin Rouge. But it was still a great experience. There was great walking access to the port with a few restaurants. As well as a 15 minute walk to Chora where there were fantastic restaurants. Lastly we ate the best angus burger at our resort that we have ever had!!!!

I didn’t like the road that was right beside our outdoor space as we were on the ground floor.

If I need to choose I would say that this hotel has two main strengths: Service and outdoor/common area. The staff is amazingly prepared and kind. Breakfast was amazing, by far the best we had during our vacations in Greece this year.

Restaurant is really good, but overpriced as I am quite used to go to really good restaurants in Italy and we have paid the price of a one Michelin star without being in a Michelin star restaurant. Check out was a bit pushy as precisely at 11am we got a call from the reception inviting us to leave the accommodation which we were already about to do but the feeling was that we were being expelled.

Probably the best hotel breakfast buffet ever! All the staff were so warm, friendly and helpful, they really made a difference to how much we enjoyed our stay. The bar and restaurant were also exceptional, and it's a gorgeous place to relax by the pool, as well as a short walk to Chora

Everything was great, loved it

The hotel, staff and location are fantastic. After staying in the Cyclades for almost 4 weeks we found Ios and Liostasi hotel our favourite. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff.

Having to be picky for the sake of being picky the only thing they could do to improve is to provide a drawer or two for underwater and alike.

Staff was over the top friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel is beautifully appointed, gorgeous pool/bar area with fabulous views, and delicious breakfast. Breakfast includes very generous buffet and the option to add egg dishes/pancakes made to order. If you can do the splurge, the private pool rooms are wonderful, adding more space and comfort. Walk into town is about 15 min UP a walking path. My husband and I could do it, but we have friends who could not. Convenient mini market at end of path, plus a couple of tavernas if you need a rest before venturing further.

Nothing to dislike.

The choice of leopard printed sunbeds and chairs doesn't fit the overall aesthetics of the place + the whole dining area looks a bit dated and not too inviting. Also, the lunch options are limited and not very good in comparison (feels like there's a different chef in the kitchen) to breakfast and dinner.
