The room was terrific - clean and roomy. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect when we stay in the area.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2024, and the breakfast then was terrific. It included several options, including muffins and hot, fresh waffles. This trip the breakfast options have changed. There were no hot options, and the muffins and bagels served were still VERY cold from the freezer. The breakfast change alone is sufficient for us to reconsider staying there again.

Your front desk check in staff Sandra made our stay much better. The fridge/microwave was not plugged in and the Keurig didn’t work. She made sure to bring us another coffee maker and worked to get things plugged in. We were in one of your better rooms. Nice beds and clean and we have reservations on our way back home May 19-20.

You need one more corner floor lamp in far corner by bed. It was so dark with only one window and no wall light switches. Sandra made our stay so friendly and pleasant as she got everything fixed. Please let her know how much this helped make the stay better and we are staying here on our way back home on May 19-20.

It is very close to several great restaurants and has easy access to stores and interstate. Staff was excellent very polite and friendly.

The only item in question was I was not 100% sure our bathroom was adequately cleaned. On arrival there were towels still hanging in the bathroom as if they had been used. Complimentary shampoo had been used and left. Not sure if this was oversight or maybe a new staff member who was unaware of how the towels were to be set out. Either way I simply asked for new towels from the front desk without any problems.

I liked the price and I liked the accommodations.

The bathroom door would not latch. Not a big deal for a solo traveler, but the next occupant(s) may not be solo. The shower never really got hot and the water was very hard; no lather. Also, and I think this is important, there were NO handles in the shower on which to grasp. This is something, as a 72 year old, I have become accustomed to at home.

Good hotel for hikers. It was a good value, clean and quiet, with coin operated laundry facilities on site. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and Walmart. It was easy to get to and from the AT using Uber, with the Uber price $12 plus tip. There was Shampoo, soap, a microwave, and refrig in the room.

This hotel isn't in the old downtown of Waynesboro, but is instead near the highway junction. However, there are lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and Walmart within 1/2 mile of the hotel.

Location was excellent, as my primary goal was to daily explore either the BlueRidge Pkwy or alternately Skyline Dr. and the hotel was only a few miles from these entry points.

The hallway carpet, needs to be changed out. Some people may not like the limited breakfast foods, however I always prefer finding a local breakfast eatery to mingle with the local folks.

Sandra at the front desk was most helpful & kind. She's an asset!

We checked in to our room and it seemed warm in there. I turned AC on (reset it as it appeared there was an error code) & we went to dinner & returned to a warm room & the same error code. Sandra at the front desk quickly moved us across the hall to a nice cool room. There was no hassle involved, which we appreciated as we were in town for my husband to have surgery the following morning.

Very clean hotel! Nicely decorated, centrally located, A/C worked wonderfully. Bedding was good quality, super comfortable and super clean. Wi Fi was available and no glitches.

Indoor pool was not very warm. Hot tub needed repair as it was not heated. Our room was a bit noisy at times; there was a very loud knocking noise when other guests were using water. Walls were thin.

There was an unflushed piece of toilet paper in the toilet before I used it...like someone had used it before me. For the price of this room, breakfast should have had more options. At least there was good yogurt. A plain cereal without added sugar would be good and maybe hard-boiled eggs or eggs and bacon should be added.

staff was friendly and helpful

room was not fully clean. surface clean but needed a deep clean. straws from someone else were behind bed and sofa. M y friends staying in a room across from the laundry service area said they were woken up by Spanish speaking people very loud talking and laughing etc.
