Lo cation for Hampton Court Palace and Bushey gardens was excellent. The room was spacious and well set out. Gpod storage. Very clean apart from small stain on carpet which did not concern us. The lady who cleaned the room did an excellent job. The bathroom was a very good size, too. The bed was very clean, firm and comfortable. Plenty of tea, milk and sugar. Nespresso coffee machine which I'm not a great fan of but plenty pds supplied. More than you often get in hotels. The breakfast was very well cooked. Service was pleasant and efficient. We didn't eat in restaurant in evening so can't comment. Very good hotel and would stay again if ever down there.
We felt one member of staff was a bit too "pushy" in trying to persuade us to use restaurant in the evening but otherwise staff were pleasant and helpful. Although breakfast was very well cooked we felt that the cold options such as cereal, yoghurt, bread, pastries was limited. Only small jug of milk readily available so needed to ask for refills. No fruit available which we felt was strange? A couple of minor additions to bathroom would be beneficial such as a grab bar on the wall to help to get in and out as the bath was deep and we both are quite short. A non slip mat for bath would have given more support, too.

The hotels' location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Hampton Court Palace and directly opposite Bushy Park which is one of London's Royal Parks. It is the home of the park run with lovely walks, water gardens, and where deer roam freely. Limited parking within the park itself so probably best to walk from the hotel. The hotel was clean, with a super large comfortable bed, dressing gown and hairdryer, soft white towels and toiletries supplied. Complimentary tea, coffee and water with a refrigerated mini bar at an extra cost. Although being on the main road our room was extraordinarily quiet with the rear of the hotel overlooking the gardens and maze of Hampton Court Palace. There was an amazing hot cooked choice for breakfast, the 'veggie' full english is brilliant. Fresh juice, pastries, cereal and toast for the continental along with tea or coffee. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay in the restaurant, very nice and the fish and chips special on the Friday evening was good value for money. Main line station for trains directly into London, a 15 minute walk away. There is a nice seating area as well at the front of the hotel for when the weather is nice to enjoy a drink outside. Would not hesitate to go back.
I would have liked some fresh fruit at breakfast and maybe a better selection of continental choice of breakfast. That said the cooked options were exceptional. Parking could be an issue, Booking.com does make this clear, and I did receive an email from the hotel giving me alternative options should I not be lucky enough to park in one of the 5 available places the hotel has. We were lucky but on the street parking is only for a maximum of 4 hours, and the rail station option is probably about 15 minute walk away so might be an idea to drop off any luggage before parking. You might also struggle if you have an electric car, the hotel has no charging points and neither does the on street parking. It might be worth trying the YourParkingSpace app.

Diane made us extremely welcome. She was very friendly and made us both feel so comfortable for our whole stay. We chatted so much and she really made our stay memorable. The hotel backed into Hampton Court Palace, the reason for our stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the Palace and a 10 minute walk to the station. The food was superb. Diane recommended it to us and we ate there after our long day out. We couldn’t fault it. It was just like a home from home. We were so sad to hear that they were closing. It’s a fantastic hotel in an excellent location with the most friendliest staff. I forgot my phone charger and Diane charged it for me whilst we ate. Loved our stay

Lovely location right next to Hampton Court Palace and Bushy Park. Friendly staff, good basic facilities. We ate in the restaurant which had a good value fish and chip supper offer on the Friday. The room faced the road which was quite busy but the double glazing meant it was very quiet at night. All in all very good value for money, especially considering the expensive area.
Although it didn’t bother us, the room is very small and if you were a couple staying a few days you might feel a bit cramped. Also the windows, being old, were fiddly to open and close. We were initially charged the wrong amount but this was put right as soon as we pointed it out.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the railway station. Our room overlooked the Hampton Court maze! It was a very small room but very clean with a comfy bed and unexpected extras like a nespresso machine. The highlights for us though were the food and service, especially from the wonderful Diane, who enjoyed sharing her expertise on the red wine selection and gave me a very enjoyable “blind” tasting. Breakfast was basic but beautifully cooked, and dinner was absolutely superb, prepared and served with great care.
Our room didn’t really have a seating area and there is no residents’ lounge, so comfort was an issue at times. Probably worth paying a bit extra for a bigger room.

The front of house staff we came across during our stay (the younger guy at reception and the two ladies running the bar and restaurant) were super welcoming and really good fun. Absolutely exceptional, really made our stay thank you. Other than that… Lovely spot opposite the Bushy Park gates. Bright and light interior throughout. Rooms big and comfortable enough for the time we spent in them. Well sound proofed from the road when everything was shut. Great lunch and breakfast. Only 20 minutes or so in an Uber from Twickenham, we’d previously stayed 20 minutes the other way at Heathrow but this was far nicer. May come back in summertime just to use it as a base to explore this part of London.
Literally nothing.

The hotel is a little gem, beautifully clean and tidy, so well appointed to places like Bushy Gardens and Hampton Court. It's a short walk to different pubs and restaurants, if you dont feel like just staying in the hotel, and has easy access to central London or bus ride into Kingston town centre. However, the making if this hotel is its staff. They are wonderful and so welcoming, from the Chefs to the receptionist. A special shout out though for Diane. She is an amazing individual and what an asset to this hotel supplying local information, suggestions for trips and going over and above to ensure our stay was special. Thank you all, you made our break perfect.
Only thing I'd suggest for this hotel is a couple of big comfy chairs, seats or snug area for the guests to sit in. Otherwise it's perfect

Beautiful historic building and rooms are finished to a high spec. You are provided with a mini bar with a choice of chilled alcohol options along with some red wine (not in fridge) options which were very tasty. Tea and coffee making essentials provided also along with a nesspesso coffee machine and a small range of coffee options & tea. The room was quite small and it was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Also it is a 10min walk to Hampton Court Palace entrance, from the back of the property you can actually see the maze of Hampton Court and also it is close to Bushy Park. Perfect location for this beautiful hotel.
I had a lovely restful evening and enjoyed staying there. I would stay again however I would request not to be located next to the cleaning team office on the 1st floor as they were very inconsiderate of the fact that there were guests in the hotel whom do not wish to be woken at 6am with their noise and loud talking. There was loads of commotion, banging, talking loudly and noise. When I stay in a hotel I wish to relax and the next morning was not relaxing at all.

Located directly opposite beautiful Bushy Park, the Kings Arms Hotel is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to participate in the iconic home of the first Parkrun. At least 10 other people in 2 other groups had the same idea as us. It is also very conveniently located to visit Hampton Court Palace (you can see the maze from one of the stairwell windows) with the main visitors’ entrance just a short stroll around the corner. We stayed in the Hampton Suite which suited our family of 4 very well. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom spacious; just wish we had a longer stay so could have enjoyed the big bathtub. Included in our price was a fabulous breakfast; this included a cold selection of yogurt, cereals, bread, croissants and juice plus a choice of a hot breakfast. We had 2 full English, an eggs benedict with added sausage and an eggs royale which were all delicious and set us up for the day. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags post check-out. There is very limited free parking (4 spots) outside the hotel and we were not lucky enough to get one but street parking is free from 6pm to 8:30am and there is free parking inside Bushy Park. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely renovated room on the first floor, at the front of the hotel. Although located next to Hampton Court Palace maze, and Lionsgate- this entrance has been closed for a good few years. It was a generous 5min walk to the entrance of HCP. Breakfast was very yummy. The limited members of staff were all very friendly
The external patio to the front of the property was very bleak, potted plants & hanging baskets had dead plants in them and the large bins were in your constant eyeline - this area could do some talc
