English: The stay at the Hotel La Mela in Varcaturo was very nice. We were allowed to check in earlier than agreed and we received a very warm welcome! The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and very helpful! The hotel manager Giovanni greeted the guests every morning for breakfast and made sure that everything was fine. We felt at home! And if there was ever a problem, they dealt with it immediately. Unfortunately, the drain in my shower was a bit blocked by toilet paper (my own fault) and my room was a bit wet. When I returned in the evening, my room looked super clean, as if nothing had ever happened. Because my father was not very good at walking and we did not have a rental car, Giovanni was also kind enough to provide us with a driver who drove us to the beach and back. We were also able to easily book a transfer to the Reggia di Caserta with the reception within a few minutes by paying the usual rates. We had to leave before breakfast time, so the reception and Giovanni were kind enough to offer us breakfast at 6 a.m. (normally only from 7 a.m.). All in all, the Hotel La Mela has a lot of heart and from what I have heard from other guests, the Hotel La Mela is better and more reliable than the surrounding hotels, which I can confirm from my own experience. If I were to travel to Varcaturo again, I would always choose the Hotel La Mela! PS: We found the Sfogliatella riccia at the airport last but not least, and they were delicious! English: There was no power outlet available right at my desk for my laptop, but I was able to use the outlet by the TV since I wasn't using it anyway, so having a long enough cable is helpful.

Great location, good breakfast, super nice and generous owner, great staff, clean.. We tried to come back later in our 14 day holiday, but it was fully booked. Hotel is simple with no luxuries, but excels in cleanliness and its staff. Definitely recommend it! And varcarturo has the best beaches

If I can make a recommendation for the hotel owner, change the CO2 alarms on the ceiling because the green light affected my fiancé's sensitive sleep

I checked in after 8pm and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of free parking and the room was comfortable and modern.

I don’t really have anything negative to say, it fit my needs perfectly. It’s not especially close to Naples, or the sea, but for the price, it can’t be beat.

Everyone was friendly, always available to help, great location for the beach. And the best business owner, took us with his personal car few times to the train station.

Family hotel with extremely helpfull and friendly staff. Safe parking with camera surveillance. Breakfast exceeds the usual Italian breakfast standards. Newly installed bathroom.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful at this hotel , extremely clean room , breakfast was delicious and they gave us a free upgrade on the room aswell . Free private parking included which was a bonus for us since we were traveling by car.

The staff of hotel are super helpful and the hotel is kept very clean and the room is super clean with all the comforts needed.
