The whole stay was perfect, the hotel is right by the sea with an astounding view from the balcony. We got there directly by bus, less than half an hour from the airport. Self check in was helpful in case of late arrival. Hotel was quiet and cosy. Room was always very clean and cleaned everyday, the bed was comfortable, there was also a kettle and tea/coffee set. We had access to air conditioning. Hospitality was like in a 5 star hotel level :) The hosts were really kind and helpful and told us about some local places worth seeing. They were also leaving us some snacks, drinks, flowers etc in our room :) the breakfast is left in a basket outside the door everyday, and consists of an assortment of bread, cheeses, meat, fruit and some local delicacies, which change everyday. Last day as we were leaving, there was no problem with our breakfast arriving a little earlier. I know I would happily come here again, I cannot recommend this place enough!

View was spectacular. Very comfy bed, Immaculate and well cared for accommodation. Great shower. Beach towels were very handy. Brilliantly friendly and helpful staff, Nicos and Anastasia couldn't have done any more!. Generous Breakfast included which arrived in a super cute basket every morning.. It is very clear this hotel is very well run. Having our breakfast with those views of the sunrise was a hi light. Also within walking distance of Benitses: a sweet little town, and a lovely little secluded beach run by a lovely couple adjacent to a 5* hotel. A great base to discover the south of the Island if you have a car, although the buses are very regular going into Corfu town and also going further south to Benitses. We parked quite easily on the side of the road below the hotel - there were always spaces. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

The busy road was at first a little annoying but everything else was so great we decided it wasn't that much of a problem. We could walk into Benitses in about 18 minutes and only the first section of road was a bit challenging as there is no pavement, so crossing the road a few times was necessary as the bends were quite severe, but getting back was easy on the bus later in the evening.

The location is perfect for those who prefer to stay out of town - either renting a vehicle or ready to use a bus (line 6 - as we did and it was absolutely OK - btw, the bust stop is just across the street - so husselfrei transportation is just at your disposal - if you want to stay in Corfu town later that till 10 pm, then you need a taxi but it is not a big deal). The breakfast is served downstairs outside (when weather is nice), it was quite nice - omelette, ham, cheeses, fresh salad, tasty pastry etc. We staied in so to speak penthouse apartment with the 100% sea view - totally marvelloes place to watch sun rise and full moon - golden or silver path on the sea water - unforgettable! Kitchenette is very nice addition to the stay - you can organaize decent dinner if weather conditions are not suitable for chilling out in town. But absolutely the best part of our stay at this hotel was THE STUFF. The team of girls was absolutely fantastic- nice, helpful and always smiling. They were so simple, kind and warm. Let me describe you the situation one morning. The breakfast is usually served downstairs if the weather is nice. One morning it was raining quite heavily, so we asked to bring us the breakfast to the room (because they said that in this case they would bring us the basket with food). When two girls arrived with plates, they were soaking wet, so I just was about to cry seeing that. We had expected that the stuff had raincoats or umbrellas to keep them dry. When leaving, we left them some light rain coats for such ccasions. And we hope the hotel owner would provide them with umbreallas or decent quality rain coats. We appreciate the nice stuff a lot for all their work.

We wish it was bit more tidier - that is why I gave to cleanliness only 4 of 5. There were two "nice" spider nets in the corner of windows. But the rest was percetly clean. MAybe the local spiders are so quick and hard working that hotel stuff did not compete them :) And after cleaning the room the terrace door was left open without mosquito net and the lights were on - so you can imagine our "night guests" and how we had to struggle with them - unfortunately the electric insects killers were of no use at all. Also I suggest to provide the apartment with over with an oven pan and couple of sheets of baking paper as well as some cookig oil. But despite this I do recommend this hotel !

This little hotel has an unbeatable, beautiful view, lovely ladies who run the show, and a great breakfast. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, we felt like we were home! Sitting on the terrace each night was also a treat. We didn't want to leave.

The location is tricky when you don't drive. There is a bus that has an hourly service, but it's not always reliable. Taxis are between 40-70 euros (Korfu Port-Paleokastritsa), depending on how far you're going. There is a lovely beach 350 meters away, but I found the road too daunting to walk! This is not a criticism of the hotel as such, we just didn't research.

The location is great, the sea is 15m away from the property. Alex - one of the hosts - was great and went above and beyond to help us on our many requests. A really cool dude always ready to help. He gave great insights on the island and some local spots to eat fresh fish.

The wifi could be better but my data plan was not working as well.. so probably something related to the area that has not a great signal. The payment was not clear as well as I payed cash so had to withdraw some money on the local ATMs (which implies a fee). Payment with card should be the standard

Stayed in the penthouse apartment and it was huge, more than enough space for four of us with lots of terrace/outside area to relax. There were three bean bag lounger type beds, a big table and a smaller morning table. The apartment was lovely and clean, had a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Breakfast is limited but what they offer is of good quality. Sea is just across the road, very quiet, though beach space is very limited. Benitses is beautiful with some lovely restaurants and a nice cove beach further along. We recommend Loris for dinner, and have the sea bass or pork chop - which is huge!

The hotel is in a tricky location for getting out on foot, so highly recommend making yourself familiar with the bus timetable which can be a little inconsistent. We didn’t feel safe walking into the town as road is quite busy and no pavement for the first stretch. Also recommend stocking up on some bits as you arrive as not easy to ‘nip’ to shop. The steps up are steep and there is no lift, so being able bodied is a must.

The view from the balcony was incredible 😍 The staff was amazing and very kind. 100% will recommend this place and will stay here again

I wish breakfast was abit better. We had the same thing i.e slices of bread, slices of salami meat, slices of cheese/ feta, boiled eggs, fruits and orange juice. We wasted more food than eating as its not our preference for breakfast and we got tired of eating the same thing for 5 days. It would have been nice to be given ab sandwich or a bacon cobb etc. Or even put a toaster in the room so customers can make toasts. Also to put a phone in the rooms so customers can contact the staff for emergency as there is no reception if anyone was needed etc. or even to call a taxi as the location is quite out the way and no taxi place is near and you'll have to find one online

We absolutely loved our stay at Batelo Hotel. The communication from the owner before our arrival was excellent and they explained how to get there by taxi or bus (we opted for the bus which was great as the bus stop is right outside the hotel!) There is no reception but our check in was super smooth and communicated to us via message on booking.com before arrival = 0 stress! All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quiet and private, it almost feels like you're staying in a private apartment but with the facilities of a hotel which was perfect for us. Room cleaned every day and towels/beds changed every two days was fab. We were even gifted a bottle of wine by the owner which was so thoughtful, which we enjoyed on the balcony over looking the AMAZING view. Loved the decor in the room, really tasteful, modern and clean but still has Mediterranean feel to it. Fab location! There is also access to a small beach right outside the hotel which was perfect for a morning swim! Beautiful. Only 10 mins walk to the town of Benitses but I would recommend getting the bus.

The ONLY thing (which is out of the control of the hotel anyway - this is only advice for travellers) is that the main road has no footpath or street lights for about 5 mins walk on the way into Benitses and the road can be quite busy/fast moving cars and a lot of coaches. It's not too bad during the day, but I would recommend getting local bus, taxi or if you have hired a scooter. The terrain is quite uneven so it was, lets say, an interesting walk home on our first night in the dark which we didn't repeat! The bus stop is right outside the hotel each way and is really cheap so that fixed the issue :)

I recently spent an unforgettable week at the Batelo Boutique Hotel in Benitses, Corfu, and I can’t recommend it enough! The sea view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious Greek breakfast while watching the sunrise—such a peaceful and magical start to the day. A huge shoutout to Nico, the owner, who made our stay perfect. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us fantastic recommendations for both sightseeing and traditional Greek restaurants. Nico was always quick to respond, even late at night, and he went above and beyond when I asked for dairy-free milk the next morning. He also helped us book a day boat cruise to Paros and Antipaxos, which I highly recommend. The combination of stunning views, amazing hospitality, and personalized service made this stay truly exceptional. I can’t wait to come back!”

Staff very nice and friendly, views spectacular, bus stop handy for getting into old town. Having kettle and fridge supplied. English specking channel on T.V. Complementary bottle water on arrival to make tea. Breakfasts are delicious and how good choices.

There was no way to get a meal when i stayed put for the day. I didn't enjoy the walk into benitses village to get a meal and stock up on water. Very hazardous to walk into benitses until you reach foot path section
