Facilities are top-notched, staffs are accomodating for early check-in upon room availability

We stayed at the hotel after the Yagi storm, hence gym and swimming pools were closed

It was our first experience in 5 Star hotel. I was impressed from receptionists and especially from their kindness, smile, desire to explain with details the provided services for my booked room. Room and bathroom was clean, they were charging everyday our towels and sheets, had the best view in front of the Halong Bay, comfortable and enough space in room and bathroom. The 2 water pools had a significant view of Halong. Generally it was a unique experience for us. When i ll be back i ll definitely book again a room in Wyndham Legend Halong hotel.

We loved it the minute we came to the front desk!Your duty manager Trang made us feel so welcome and explained everything with her amazing English! She offered us a better room, which we love and appreciate the great view! Trang also arranges a car for us to travel to our next destination! She made us feel so welcome! Thank you so much Trang! You are amazing! We love our room, everything there is perfect! Love the big bathroom with a big bathtub! There are lots of places to eat just 10 min away !

The breakfast was cold The balcony is not a balcony, hardly room for one person. The picture doesn't match on the advertisement site the view you see from the window,( the bridge is not lighting up)

It’s a beautiful hotel. Staff is so friendly and helpful, which is the most important thing about a hotel stay (at a 4 star and above level - cleanliness should be a given). The rooms were spacious and the views were great - stayed on the 10th floor. Get the breakfast package! Well worth it. The restaurant manager, Pham Thi Huyen, and her staff are wonderful! The whole experience has made me start to switch travel plans from Marriott/Hilton to Wyndham hotels. I hope all of their other 5-star hotels are just as good.

My fault; The only thing I didn’t like is that I forgot to get the package that included breakfast. Paid for breakfast separately and it was still worth it!

The hotel is nice, good location, very spacious parking area. Room is quite big and well set-up. The lobby is clean and beautiful. Room’s amenities are good and clean. Staff at restaurant is nice and friendly. I could manage to get good prices with booking.com.

There is one thing I would say is late cleaning up the room. I have a group family with 4 rooms staying for 2 nights. However, the room has not been cleaned up until late afternoon. The lady at reception (name Ms. Trang) show bad attitude saying that due to hotel full capacity they cannot clean up the room soon and the cleaner does cleaning from lower floor to upper floor. I would say it’s not a matter of customer. If hotel is full capacity, they should arrange more staff and should not blame it to customer. Was it customer’s responsibility for the hotel’s full capacity??

We had a room in 18th floor with bay view and balcony. Room was very spacious, bed comfortable. Full service. Good breakfast. There are 2 pools, but they are small and crowded with kids, so cant relax. Very close to cruise port, less than 15 min walking, we went there right after Ha Long bay cruise. We wanted to go to the other part of the city over the bridge to the seafood restaurant, but taxi driver was very kind and showed us wonderful place near by. Also not far away there is public beach with lots of action in the evening, and calm place in the morning and afternoon. There are wc and showers, beach bars.

If you want to take a walk in the evening, there are no places to do so, only a small pier park, where locals hang out in the evening.

I spent 2 nights here. Wonderful location if you want some quiet and peace to yourself after the hustle bustle of HCMC & Hanoi. Awesome view of the bay and the Bai Chay bridge. The town is pretty quiet so nothing much to do except admire the view and maybe take a stroll around. I had booked the junior suite so had excellent views and on request they even changed my room to the other corner as I personally preferred more of the bay view.

Everything about the hotel from check in to check out was excellent. Staff were very friendly, kept us informed about our room and we were able to check in early. Our room was of great standard and beds were very comfortable. There are many great options for breakfast and everything was really delicious. Staff in the restaurant were constantly checking on us throughout breakfast and were offering us different options. We were made feel very welcome and had a very pleasant stay.

Windows could be cleaned. TV could be smart so we can connect to Netflix. Alarm clock and hairdryer could be of better standard. The biggest let down for this hotel is its location. The half finished buildings and run down sidewalks give a feel of a zombie town and lack of decent restaurant options are very off putting.

The room was great!! It was a very large room and a huge bath tub, very spacious. We had a room with no view. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They made sure that we were comfortable and recommended great dishes for us to try. The food was lovely!

Upon arriving at the hotel we requested an upgrade to a sea facing room given that it was off peak season and quieter. The receptionist on that evening was unfriendly and almost rude. She did not bother to advise us about the breakfast, dinner or the wifi and said an upgrade could be given at a cost.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views in a great location. Staff were excellent, even though some of them seemed a bit new. The pools and gym were excellent and well equipped. The food was amazing and a great choice for breakfast and dinner.

I think we went at the wrong time of year as not all facilities were open. There were 2 restaurants not open. The pools weren't heated, which again may be due to us going in early march.
