The hotel was easy to find and close enough to the train station. I got a studio type room that came with a small kitchenette. The room was very spacious and very clean, I must say!

The whole check in and check out process was human-less, and I felt quite insecure what to do next, especially during check out. I did write them an email, which they responded to but still it’s different when you’re in the situation. Thankfully, another guest was there and helped me. Perhaps a picture-led instruction in their welcome email could help ease the process!

Very easy check-in process, even with reception closed. We asked for a garage space early and got to use the dedicated space in the hotel - for which many thanks. Lots of room in the apartments that we had - perhaps lucky to be at the front. Location brilliant - had two great local walks - one just after we arrived, and one before we left, plus a very good meal in the nearby square. Fetched lovely croissants for breakfast from the recommended boulangerie. And there's a geocache close by. Could easily have stayed longer.

Location is central. Very close to restaurants and cafes, and convenient as a starting point for touristic visits to the city and to come in and out of the city; facilities in the room were perfect, I like the fact that you can have a meal in the room if you do not feel lile going out, there are all the necessary tools to prepare The room was clean and hairdryer, toiletries and towels were provided. Heating was also good, it was very comfortable staying in the room. Reception personnel was available and helpful. Recommended.

The location is in the center of Fribourg. It is located really near to the central train station. The room was clean, and the online check-in and check-out system was great.

The bed was not too comfortable for my taste. The light switch controlled the receptacle near the bed, so it was impossible to charge my mobile phone near the bed at night; otherwise, the light would have been on.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. The location, room and its amenities, price and reception are all superb. Entry instructions are explicit for those arriving after hours. Frederic in the office remembered me from my stay last year; he is a most welcoming, pleasant and congenial gentleman. He is more than willing to offer helpful suggestions and share his knowledge and love of the city of Fribourg. Bravo to this hotel. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Hine Adon.

We booked quite late and had trouble finding anything in middle of the town. This was at lower end of our budget, and we found the location and facilities were very good for the price. Small practical and clean bathroom, good shower. Comfortable bed. Small kitchenette with a fridge. WiFi worked. We arrived early evening and access was easy (we phoned to get a code to access the building and collect the key inside). Very convenient. Reception was open next morning to return the key, nice guy. We found a parking garage which cost us 13 overnight not far away.

The room had small windows and on a very hot day in Fribourg we could not cool it down overnight, so it was hard to sleep. There was a ventilator provided but we couldnt place it in front of the window to blow the cooler night air in as there we no power sockets on that side of the room. An extension lead would have helped.

I love that you can check in and out online, so you don't depend on the time the staff is at reception. I contacted them in advance about my time of arrival and they sent me all the information to check in by myself. They were very fast replying at my messages. The location is very good, you have the train station at just 15mins (walking slowly). The staff was very kind and they will clean my room every morning! I had in my room tea, coffee, soap, towels and an equipped kitchen (glasses, pots, microwave/oven, cutlery...) And they would leave me new coffee capsules every morning.

Pillows and mattress are a bit too soft for me, I had neck pain as a result, but that's a very personal preference.

It was so convenient having the little kitchenette. Switzerland is very expensive, so it was great to be able to make sandwiches to bring to work with me. The shower has great water pressure and there’s a washing machine in the building as well.

The TV is locked down so you can’t put your Chromecast/Fire Stick into it to watch Netflix. Hardly a complaint though.

Hotel Hine Adon Fribourg is a cozy aparthotel in the heart of Fribourg. Perfect location near the old town, clean and spacious rooms with a kitchen, and easy self-check-in. Friendly staff and a home-like atmosphere. A great choice for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

We liked this accommodation and would have liked to stay longer, but had other travel already scheduled. We will use this accommodation if we return to the area. It was helpful to have the information about the elevators as the odd sound and shaking would have worried us otherwise. We slept with windows open and enjoyed the sound of the fountain in the nearby square.
