The check in procedure is very good , accommodated me very well as the hotel has a lift as i no longer do stairs , Room is very modern and spacious with a modern walk in shower in the bathroom

Bit dusty on the laminated flooring , could do with a damp mop on a daily basis , Toilet paper holder is located far too close to the shower so unless you move it from the holder it gets soaking wet , Cheap Toilet system which is far too low with a £5 plastic toilet seat which is not good for the larger person for comfort !!!! it spoils the bathroom as you can see a great newly fitted bathroom and the Toilet seat lets it down badly , Windows badly need an outside clean and the battery's in the TV remote need to be changed on a regular basis as when I decided to watch tv it wouldn't work due to low batteries

Breakfast was in a different hotel, but good. my room was a good size and very clean with a good shower. quiet area and comfortable. also only a couple of minutes away from overnight parking. close to harbour and on the flat which meant easiey walking, as I'm not good at hills these days. the route contained a very good ice cream parlour and choice of good restaurants. I was pleased there was a lift to get me to my 2nd floor room.

There was trouble with checking in. The hotel had been taken over (i WAS TOLD ILLEGALLY) BY AN INDIAN COMPANY oyo, so my prebooking was not accepted by Booking.com. Howwever I don't think they have taken my money by credit card. so I had to pay (again) on arrival. Not a good start to my break.

Great location. Right in the centre of town and 30 second walk to the beach. The lady on the check in was helpful. Room was fairly basic, however, for just over £100 for a 2 night stay it was very good value for money. It did have a bath as well as a shower which was a surprise for the price! Internet was quick, even up on the 3rd floor. The smart TV had Netflix, Prime etc so plenty to watch. Overall, great value for money and in the perfect location for a short break by the beach!

It was so clean and comfortable and central - really couldn't ask more for the price. Fantastic shower as well. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly - the breakfast that's offered by the Royal Britannia when you check in isn't worth it. The coffee machine wasn't working (argh!) and it was all a bit depressed. Better off going elsewhere - lots of lovely little places to choose from on the High Street and nearby.

Size of room. Lovely large comfortable bed. Good central position in town. Our heating was not working when we arrived so I phoned reception. A very pleasant young man arrived in a very few minutes, apologised and got it working in minutes - on Boxing Day.

Flooring crackled a bit underfoot. Hardly worth mentioning, really.

Friendly staff. Nice room Great information booklet provided about local area. Local area was lovely.

Booking.com said parking. But it means paid public parking nearby. I did choose the place due to parking, so a bit misleading. Views shown in picture is not from grand harbour hotel it is from its sister hotel royal Britannia.

The breakfast was simple but still very tasty. I did wish it was available till 11 or 12 though, rather than 10

The water for the bath was extremely hot as soon as it came out of the tap which I felt was a bit dangerous and the shower was slightly complicated to use with how it was set up.

Better than it looks, both on the internet and externally. An annexe to Royal Britannia hotel but it is only seventy yards. Has been modernised in recent years.

Breakfast good but arrangements for it pretty basic.
