We loved everything! The staff were phenomenal, they went above and beyond - even helping us out of a pickle with an unpaid toll. They were all incredibly attentive, friendly and kind. The food was incredible with generous portions, and the drinks were also fabulous. The hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean, with a thorough daily clean of the bedroom and fresh towels everyday if you wanted. The view overlooking Vesuvius was breathtaking. Our overall stay was just amazing. We did hire a car and make use of the free car park which we could reccommend but the shuttle buses from the hotels were really convenient. Could not fault this place, already recommending to all our friends and family.

Beautiful building with lovely staff

Perhaps the shuttle bus could operate in the afternoon as well rather than stopping at 11.30 and starting again at 5. Taxi one way to the station was expensive - 25 EUR. We did walk to/from town one night via the busy road which I wouldn’t advise (no pavement at times, no street lights). Having said that we didn’t realise there was a public bus so perhaps we could have used that instead ! Although think that is only every hour.

The hotel is a nice quite alternative to a large resort or hotel. The hotel has an amazing view to Vesuvius, and comfortable spacious rooms. The staff are lovely, welcoming and so helpful. I was travelling with my brother and they assisted with all our questions, even helped us get to the station when they couldn't find a taxi for us. The food is great, breakfast is nice and simple easy and dinner menu was great.

The only difficulty is its location it is on a narrow road for those driving to the hotel, and for those relying on taxis and public transport it is best to call the hotel before your arrival so they are able to ensure a taxi to collect you from the station or ferry. They are very helpful we had no issues. But it is best to call in advance.

Location and views are both great. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast which had all you needed. All the staff were very cheerful and kind, very welcoming.

Just be aware that the entrance point with the car is very tricky. Not really a negative as it is to be expected given the location. There’s not something that the property can do about it of course but I think good to keep in mind especially the first time you get to the hotel. However, a slight negative was the noise from the street below at some points. Even though there is a double glass door after the window, sometimes the noise could not be eliminated. But only if a very loud vehicle would pass by. Pretty ok in general and we slept well.

Superb staff, good breakfast (except the orange juice), good location to explore the neighborhood, no screaming children. The hotel is perfect for a lot of doing nothing.. relaxing is brought to the next level up. Splendid views and very good food. The staff is very nice and hospitable, you really feel at home.

location is next to a very busy road, but hey so are most of the hotels in this area. August is perhaps not the best month to visit the Amalfi coast.. too crowded. Car parking is an issue, everywhere.

A breathtaking location overlooking the bay and Vesuvius. Whilst the hotel was on a main road, the location for us was perfect. Out of town, on the cliff top with the most beautiful of views and a great shuttle bus that took you to Seiano beach for the ferries and to Vico Equense for the train. Both places also have plenty of choice for restaurants and are much quieter than neighbouring Sorrento. We adored both places. The staff were all fab - attentive, helpful and delivered the best customer service. We were a group of 4, and a couple of us found the bed a little hard. We mentioned it and a topper was immediately provided. The reception ensured we had a local pick up for the airport without us asking and Maria at the restaurant had a beautiful personal touch - nothing was too much trouble and we all felt the staff were just stars. A fab pool, not massive but adequate to do a few lengths and cool down with a lovely lounge area, again overlooking Vesuvius Great breakfast with quality light lunches and evening meals Clean spotless rooms A wonderful sanctuary that was a pleasure to come back to after a busy day seeing the sites. We loved the place and all of us would return

The location was fantastic with amazing views across the bay of Naples & Mount Vesuvius 😀 All staff were delightful & couldn't be more helpful. The food was exceptional, with plenty of breakfast choices & Ciara was lovely & amazing with her very personal service 🥰 Very spacious, light airy room with good air con. Also, there was a free shuttle bus (which was a rea added bonus, being high up a mountain!) down into the nice little town of Vico Equense. Excellent friendly service. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was superb

Firstly the staff were outstanding, they were so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you, the views were amazing and it was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was reasonable, nothing spectacular but ok. Facilities were good, the pool was nice and quiet.

The location was a little bit isolated with very little around. Taxi’s were trying to charge 90 euro one way for a 15 minute trip into Sorrento. My advice would be to have your own car if staying here

Stayed here for the views from terrace. Grounds and garden beautiful. Lovely old but modernised building. Great breakfast and food at the restaurant. Lovely rooms and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. One staff member in particular stood out in being very welcoming and attending to your regular favourites at breakfast eg. Cappuccino. Thank you. Staff able to arrange day trips to Portfolio and Almalfi which were enjoyable.

Decided to stay for views. Location not great. On a busy winding and partially unlit road. Not recommended to walk at night. Information indicated a shuttle bus to and from nearby station. However, this was an external arrangement and very limited. Caused us to walk from station one night due to local train delays. Staff had tried to arrange a taxi but due to delays made this difficult. Great hotel, food and staff but location without a shuttle not recommended without a car. I would also check about stairs in room as room offered had a mezzanine to bed and down to bathroom at night. Not suitable for us. Staff were able to change our room but it then had a small porthole window.

Low quality of the breakfast. Warm, dry vegetables, half warm yoghurt and milk. Dry bread and no fresh fruits, berries, vegetables. Cheapest possible ingredients and very little variety. Papermugs in plastic wrap in the room. Not environmentally friendly and not nice to use.
