June 2025

It actually is paradise. We rolled in during a sticky June heat, the kind that makes your shirt question its loyalty. From the second our sand-crusted feet touched the property, we were greeted like returning royalty, if royalty wore swim trunks. After checking in we were told it was happy hour. Already win And then there was Ryan. Sweet, glorious Ryan. If the hotel were a film, Ryan would be the unsung hero who saves the day, fixes the AC, makes the cocktail, arranges your dinner, and somehow remembers your name, your drink, and your exact level of sunburn. The guy was everywhere. Need a towel? He’s there. Confused about your bill? Already fixed. Mid-existential crisis about leaving tomorrow? He hands you a drink and reminds you that breakfast is still included. The pool? Sparkling. The ocean? So calm it made meditation apps feel redundant. The beach? Raked clean, not a single selfie stick in sight. A miracle. Breakfast? Tasty enough that you forget you’re technically eating eggs made in 90-degree heat. Coffee strong enough to wake your third eye. No soggy croissants, no powdered orange juice pretending it’s fresh. And the room. Clean. Spacious. A bed that felt like it had been blessed by monks. The kind of setup where you pretend to check for Wi-Fi but really just want to sit on the balcony and your life choices while staring at the sea. Look, it’s not the cheapest place on the island. But if you’re into things like "comfort," "sanity," and “service that reminds you humans aren’t so bad after all,” then it’s worth every baht. In a world full of overpriced resorts with fake smiles and stale pancakes, Samui Paradise is the real deal. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I kidnap Ryan and bring him with me? Possibly. Book it. Bring sunscreen. Tip well. And tell Ryan he’s a damn legend.

That we were only there a few days, the price was a little steep for off season, but the food and drinks were reasonable.

We loved the room. Just what we need. Beautiful porch to sit on and enjoy a drink. Pool just outside the door and the beach just a step away. Wonderful hotel and amazing staff. The only hotel in Thailand that we would come and stay at again. Traditional Thai style buildings and gardens made this a beautiful place to stay. Restaurant food better than the local restaurants. A bit more expensive but better quality and you get more. Cocktails are nice and not too expensive. Wish we had done the BBQ night but we had different plans.

Nothing. When we come to stay again we will have to book the same room it just made the stay so much more.

Small cozy resort with fantastic green garden, beautiful beach view, very clean, nice restaurant and tasty breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful sunrise.

The villas that are located near the roadside are noisy and can make it difficult to get some sleep. I would recommend to avoid especially the one located just opposite the generator. You can even feel the bed vibrating due to the cars. We did asked to change the vila after one night and the staff were nice and helped us. The pool water could be a little bit warmer. Not so many guest were enjoying it because of that. I could only get inside up to my knees. We did enjoyed the beach area instead. We appreciate the complimentary mosquito lotion however the hotel could take more precautions to that since the green garden attracts lots of them day and night. It makes it hard to enjoy the patio which is so cozy otherwise.

We booked this hotel at the very last minute when we decided to change our plans to escape bad weather north of Phuket, and this is the best decision we’ve made! We weren’t excited about properties in Koh Samui until we discovered this gem! A little boutique resort just as we like it, small, neat and cosy, overlooking a very nice beach at the end of Chaweng, so almost like private. All the villas are nested in a beautiful tropical lush garden. The property is amazingly clean and quiet. Wonderful friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent, so are the bar and restaurant (we ate there many times). The location is just about right, with amazing restaurants around, massages and shops, but still out of the crowded and noisy center of Chaweng. We stayed in a beautiful junior suite, and it was amazing value for money. Thank you to the house keeping staff, who did just great during our stay. Thank you for everything, we will for sure keep this place as one of our favorite for our next trip to Thailand!

Though we loved everything about it, I would just like to point out that the bedding (mattress) might need a change. We experienced back pain and shorter nights, but we used this opportunity to go get a massage everyday :)

Amazing stay over Christmas and New Year. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the setting was gorgeous with so many small touches and details to make you smile. The staff were exceptional and we felt their service reflected a 5 star rating. Cherry was amazing- he was absolutly fantastic and we have never felt so welcome whilst staying in a hotel before! Nothing was too much for Cherry, he had excellent knowledge of the local area, was so friendly and genuinely wanted the best for our stay. Thank you so much to all the staff, we didn't want to leave and we would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, would definitely visit again!

Nothing, it was brilliant!

This was our 3rd visit to Samui Paradise, it is such a lovely place! The beach is beautiful, always clean and the water is warm. It is close to Chewang if you like things a bit more upbeat but far enough away that you don’t feel amongst it all. The staff really make your stay! They cannot do enough for you and are the most friendliest people you will meet The rooms are always cleaned if you require them to be, the housekeepers work tirelessly to make sure everything is ok. We will be back again 😁

Idyllic hotel located at the end of the beach away from the main drag of Chaweng. Very clean with a nice pool and amazing beach. The rooms are all small huts and the greenery around the hotel makes it feel like you're staying in a jungle. Breakfast was great, loads of options and they really know how to omelette. Getting to places by tuc tuc was incredibly easy, or Grab was an option for taxis too. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and Phensiri restaurant across the road is fantastic too!

The pool isn't very big but with the sea that close it didn't matter. The beach was essentially a private beach for the hotel in all but name!

The room was amazing, huge with great A/C, just off the beach

The reservation of sunbeds before 7am in the morning. The staff were made aware and there were signs up in the resort warning people that if beds were reserved and not used their towels would be removed - unfortunately this didn't happen and all the beach and front line beds were reserved every day. For thta reason alone I would not recommened this hotel

We last stayed here in 2019 before Covid and liked it so much we decided to come back. It was very good then, it is great now. We noticed that in the rooms that they have new bathrooms, new air conditioners, new very comfortable beds and great new blockout curtains. Unique property as it is on the smaller side for the main seafront resorts. It has about 40 Thai villas with a pool and dining area. It is absolute beachfront, just 5 or 6 steps down from pool / dining area to the beach. Moving on to the staff, the most friendly professional team and nothing was too hard for them. They are always cleaning when not busy and the whole pool area is always just so. Rooms well cleaned and fresh beach towels every day in the room. I am coeliac and the kitchen was able to produce most of their Thai menu items gluten free and knew what they were doing if I tried to order something a bit ambitious. They also ordered in gluten free bread for me for breakfast. We had been to Koh Samui before so spent most of our time just relaxing at Paradise and will definitely be back.

Our entire stay was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond for everyone, they were always busy doing something even when no guests about. The restaurant and pool areas were always exceptionally clean and tidy. You really could not fault the team of staff. Breakfast was amazing and the views from our table just made an amazing start to the day, We ate lunch and dinner several times and the food was fantastic and fresh, Our room was great, comfy beds, amazing air con and a wonderful bathroom. Cleaned every morning and to a very high standard. I really can't wait to come back and visit.
