Stayed at this hotel overnight right after our trip to Siquijor, and we had an excellent experience. The room was incredibly spacious and clean—I even had enough room to dance! The internet connection was fast and reliable, which was a great convenience. We also enjoyed using the pool at night, which added a relaxing touch to our stay. The air conditioning efficiently cooled the entire room, and even the toilet was surprisingly spacious. The separate toilet and shower setup was a thoughtful feature, allowing two people to use the facilities simultaneously without any hassle. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options.

I’ve stayed like 4 times in this hotel, I love it there specially the staff. Very kind and sweet. I wish there’s more staff at the restaurant that can serves as coffee and water quicker.

I wish there were more staff at the restaurant to serve as coffee and water quicker. Some of us had to wait for 20-30 mins to get our coffee and water after we had already eaten our food. I suggest serves water while waiting for the food. Thank you.

I loved the whole vibe of the hotel. The rooms were clean. The pool, restaurant and bar area provide a place to relax and unwind after a full day of touring. The staff at the reception were the friendliest, and were quick to provide a solution to issues encountered. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly superb, and they were very kind to cater to a special request by a family member who got ill and asked for “lugaw” off the menu.

Two of the cabanas where some of our family members stayed leaked during a particularly rainy night. However, the staff were quick to provide a solution the next day. The coffee at the restaurant which was part of the morning buffet table tasted really bad (like dirty water), and we had to order individually to get proper coffee. Again, the staff catered to this request which was much appreciated.

Loved the layout of property. 6 rooms in main house with a few bungalows. Very quiet and excellent service. Very easy to arrange transportation into town on motorized tricycle.

The service and staff were ON POINT! Best customer service I’ve had by far. They approach you, you don’t have to call them. They refill your water without you asking them. This shows they’re attentive and eyes are on their guests. They’re very friendly and accommodating. The food is surprisingly good, too! I usually don’t expect hotel food to be good but they had a good selection with strong flavors.

The massage service can be better, considering the price points… I don’t mind paying for a massage, as long as it’s good and well worth it.

This hotel was a real surprise when we checked in - the photos were nice at the time of booking but when we arrived, it was really fantastic! After arriving from a long day of travelling, we ate at the poolside hotel restaurant and bar which was completely delicious - and the drink recipes were very well thought out. We enjoyed the open-air spa next to our hut by getting a wonderful massage after our travelling and tourist activities, as well as the live music in the evening (one day a week at the time I was there). To include some more basic information, the hotel was impeccably clean, very communicative, had extremely helpful and friendly staff, and had unique and interesting decor throughout. I highly recommend booking a cabana room for a couple for a more unique experience!

When we initially booked the hotel, the phone number on the hotel page was incorrect, but a quick message to them through Booking.com was all it took to get the correct phone number. The hotel is also off of the main road a bit so it seems like it's in a strange location at first, but after two turns off of the main road you'll quickly see the inviting lights of the property and will see it's very safe. I actually view this as a positive aspect because there's no noise from the main roads at all!

I spent two nights at the UNWND hotel - it’s a very nice hotel, with spacious, tasteful fitted rooms. Very clean, nice furniture, in my opinion a good mattress and a selection of pillows. The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. So all in all it perfect for a stopover to discover the area around Dumaguete. There are only a couple of things, which were a little pity… All in all, I can recommend it and it’s worth the price.

as in other comments mentioned, the neighbors dogs are very „protective“ - so there is a lot of barking - and this is not the fault of the hotel, but it’s a little sad. The other thing is the noise of the fuse box within the room… the buzzing of it was disturbing for me.

Good choice of breakfasts, good food, plenty of it, lovely fruit and juices. Good coffee. I liked the Earl Grey teabags in the room! Good singer entertaining us Christmas Eve. The cheese bun and hot chocolate Christmas Day morning was great! We walked to nearby Silliman beach, popular with locals, had a lovely morning there

The staff go out of their way to accommodate your needs and wants. It’s a nice retreat while still being centrally located for quick day trips to Dauin, Valencia or Dumaguete.

Honestly cannot say I disliked anything. Food was surprisingly delicious while still at a fair price and even breakfast was included. All the amenities were clean and the bartenders take care of you.

Close to airport and away from busy traffic. Luxury King rooms are on the 2nd floor of the main building while Twin rooms are on 1st floor. Rooms in the main building are very spacious. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms. Mini bar in rooms provide various drinks. I didn’t explore the bunk bed rooms in the other building or the cabanas which look like igloos. Spa massage was great. Hotel arranged a tour of Dumaguete and Valencia for me to see all the sites. Hotel will also arrange transportation into town since the hotel is a bit off the main highway. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious.

No electrical outlets to plug in laptop or cell phones on the desk or nightstands but staff will provide extension cords upon request.
