I stay here every year during the Colonial Beach Bikefest weekend, because it's a reasonable commute (15-20 minutes) to town. While an older motel, the place is well kept, and the staff is very good. Daily breakfast is appreciated. Price is way cheaper than doing downtown Colonial Beach on this weekend.

Some of the furnishings are getting a bit shabby. And that's about the worst I can say, only because you're expecting something negative.

Im a touring musician and have stay at this Red Roof Inn (Dahlgren) a few times in the past. Always Clean rooms Friendly and helpfull staff. When we knew we be passing thru we booked our room for 2 nights again. Always clean rooms quiet and friendly staff.

Had no problems or dislikes

The upgraded room with spa tub ! The bed was cozy. The room was spacious.It was a terrific price!The employees were accommodating, and they were friendly . The manager called me to ask if everything had met my expectations.

My only concern was that the fire - carbon monoxide detectors were outside the room in the hallway. That was different 😳 And their was no Do Not Disturb sign available to put on our door outside the room.

Location of Hotel was excellent with alot of shops and fast food restaurants exactly on the opposite side of the road. Room had a fridge and a microwave.

Cleanless of the room wasnt of a high level. Two really small cocroaches appeared in the bathroom. Maintenance should be done regularly as alot of stuff should be fixed or replaced. Should put more light in the room

Good room for the money. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was super friendly.

Room is very basic but clean. Liked that pets are free. The toilet and countertop are weirdly short and small- elementary school size. The grounds outside were unfinished in terms of landscaping but it looked like it was being worked on. Rooms were not very soundproof. We could hear everything from room next door through a thin door. It sounded like they were in the same room.

The people working there were nice. There was a bbq truck in the parking lot. They gave 20% discount for military and first responders.

The 3rd night we got woke up by people arguing and sounded like they were trying to fight. But the cops came and then it was quiet.

Location was good, close to shopping and eating spots.

Room was supposed to be remodeled. Seen sum type of small bugs crawling in bathroom and air conditioning unit. Very old, didn't look at all like pictures. I was very uncomfortable after seeing the bugs. Bathtub/Shower looked dingy and dirty.

It had double beds and queen size beds and didn't really know when getting room. Doubles are too small for a family of 4. They also needed to take care of some safty issues that I told them about.

Very nice beautiful fenced in back yard/lounge area with pool. Pretty good breakfast and rooms were nice. Our bath tub could have been cleaned better but all in all it was nice and the price was wonderful.

The bathrooms could have been cleaned better and two of our mattresses had horrible stains and cut marks

Staff was wonderful. Room was very nice and clean. Dog area was covered in poop. Walk our dogs elsewhere AND cleaned up after them. Yes there were poop bags. ( others did not use them). They do have a fenced in area, but no dogs allowed. If pet owners would be responsible they might change that!
