The location is the best. Right on the water, pet friendly and has a pool. Small fridge, microwave and single cup coffee pot in room. Free breakfast and coffee in office. Walking distance to the high tides bar and restaurant. I've cream stand close, 7-11 waking distance. Peddlers market a nice little store. Food lion close. New owners as of this year, very friendly. Do yourself a favor and fo stay

Staff very friendly, pool was working this time. Last year when we came it needed a repair. Great location in the town area. 1st time having a 1st floor room, convient to just walk out the door, picnic table right outside the door, no stairs to climb to 2nd floor rooms. I will say the 2nd floor rooms are bigger. Pillows were comfy. Clean facility, rooms have micro and fridge.

There is some upkeep needing to be done. Worn furniture, and around the pool area.

The location was optimal as it was right by the beach in the less populated area. The breakfast was simple (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, breads), no yogurts and only oj and milk but that was ok. The dining area was a little cramped too but you can sit outside at picnic tables. Being in a beach town, you might want to eat at one of the local restaurants anyways. I liked being right at the beach and being able to walk EVERYWHERE. I will definitely want to go back.

We didn’t have a room with a good look at the beach. Also, the WiFi connection was a little iffy. Other than that, I can’t complain.

Friendly staff. We checked out at 11am today and asked the woman at the desk if we could stay so my young son could swim in the pool (despite just checking out) and she allowed us to. No problem at all and was happy to say yes.

Nothing major, we just didn't have an ice bucket or cups in our room. Otherwise, we dont have any complaints. Its not a fancy hotel, but it's not motel level. It was good for the location and wasn't stinky or dirty.

This is the best location possible in the area. The staff was great, very diligent in their work. The room was clean and the landscape was beautiful! All of CB seemed to be blooming brighter than I had seen in the past. The breakfast and eating area was very up to date, clean and well stocked.

The only thing this place lacks is an ice machine for guests. They do have some ice available if you ask.

I needed to buy 2 Diet Cokes. The total was $4. The manager wanted to charge me extra to use my card because the charge was less than $5. I was at the desk, securing and paying for my room, over $250 and this guy tells me that he has to charge me extra so I can purchase drinks with my card. Nuts. I found a few bills in my purse so I paid for my drinks with that. He was rude and apparently didn't like dealing with females. I've stayed there several times, but after this, I don't think I'll go back soon. Last time, there was another person in my room! That night I had to call 911 because a drunk (guest at this place) wandered into the river!

The walls are very thin. Conversations could be heard so had to turn the volume on the TV up a bit and the AC drowned out the noise when on. Noisy depending on individual's who are beside you especially with kids but overall stayed on the beach longer than in the room. Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, nice area

We did not do the breakfast, but the location was wonderful rented a golf cart for the day and was able to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. Beds were wonderful!!! I had not slept that well for awhile!! Pool was open and space was great!! I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

The continental breakfast was more than adequate. There was fruit, 3 cereals to choose from, sliced bread, bagels, sausage patties, bacon, donuts, coffee, tea, multiple juices, milk, and all the condiments! The coffee is very good as well. The location was perfect for the Beach Music Festival we were attending and within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars. All the rooms have a view of the river and the beach. The rooms were very clean and the beds are comfortable. There are multiple picnic tables and outdoor grills surrounding the building and the pool is very nice. The parking is very convenient and we never had to move the car from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay there again!

Unfortunately, the ice machine was not working, but they did supply individual bags of ice to guests. I did call in advance to see if I could reserve a pet friendly room, and was told by a lady who answered the phone that no cats were allowed. When we checked in, I noted a sign at the registration desk with a picture of a dog AND cat, stating that they need to be informed if a pet will be in the room, as there is an additional fee. When I asked if cats were actually allowed, I was told that they ARE and the additional fee is $25 a night. I would have been glad to pay the additional fee if I had been given the correct information when I called.

The location is right on the beach; you cannot get any better than that.

There's not a single thing that I didn't like or that disappointed me in in any way. Our 3-night stay was excellent. Very clean rooms, well-appointed for the price, quiet, nice staff and other vacationers. I recommend River Edge Inn to anyone traveling to that area.
