the food was great, the staff were friendly, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was awesome.

I was not given the code to get access to the bathroom during the night and had to ask cleaning staff to let me into the facility at 2:00 AM. It would have been nice to have a shelf in the shower for my clothes. And a full length mirror in either the bathroom or the room and more shelf space or dresser in the room.

The room was large and well heated, the bed comfortable, the shower hot, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. although no biscuits, there was a television but I did not use it.

It was a bit noisy, although the room was well away from the restaurant and main bar. There was a lot of truck noise early morning which may not have been connected to the hotel, although it may have been a beer delivery

The convenience and the atmosphere / nice to be at an old pub that’s a both a bit modern and d a bit old school trashy - the balcony is amazing, staff were really nice and the convenience to everything in Mullum is awesome!

THE NOISE -yes I know it’s a pub so it’s Hoi g to get rowdy but it was the morning unloading of beer cans and loud staff that should be more considerate of guests in my opinion -

The architectural style of the hotel and attention to detail in the woodwork in the trims and furniture. We paid to have our own bathroom. It came with a spa bath. Loved it. The pub downstairs is reasonably priced and serves great food.

The carpet needs updating in the rooms, it's worn in spots. The air conditioning units need a clean (and service). Ceiling are a little moldy

Summer time where everything around Byron bay is very expensive, this accommodation is good value for the price you pay. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Pub not very busy (not too noisy I mean). The food is amazing as well. For one or two nights, in my opinion, it's an excellent choice.

If you don't have a car to move around, this is not a good option I guess.

It’s the middle pub - it’s amazing! Great food, great vibe, simply fantastic place - so what can be better than having your bed upstairs after a great night downstairs.

No aircon in the front rooms so it can be a little warm, and the locals may play music through the night (on the street outside) so it may be a little noisy - but it’s all part of the charm.

Good value for money, given the location and vibe of the place. Fiendly staff and once you worked out how to get to your room, there is another access, avoiding the need to go through the bar every time.

We were lucky that we satyed on the weekend, I can see parking a car to be a bit of an issue, given the time allowaces on around the public parking spaces on the roads surrounding the pub. There are limited spaces on the premisies (I counted about 8), but that fills up pretty quickly with bar patrons also using that space.

A very large room and large separate bathroom. Nice furnishings, good lighting, very comfortable be, clean, plenty of tea bags and coffee pouches, good supply of milk, all the basics often overlooked or stingy in other places. Well located away from front of building, so quiet at night. Great restaurant. Lovely decore downstairs. 'Character' lounges and chairs. Great.

We’ve stayed in the normal rooms here and didn’t have the best experience so decide to upgrade to the king suite this time and we loved our stay this time! Really clean and comfy room - basic, but that’s all we needed.

Only con would be that it’s super loud as it’s an old building with no sound proofing so when the delivery truck came at 6.15am we were all woken up to loud banging noises for like 45mins and the pub can get quite loud downstairs but honestly we expected that so it was fine.

Very large room with a large ensuite. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. The room was not serviced during my stay but the lady servicing the rooms was very helpful when I needed additional toiletries.

the room was a bit smelly when I arrived. After opening it up for a few hours and letting in some fresh air it was fine.
