location was great, the staff were very friendly, the layout of the Villa and facillities were great. We liked the buffet style breakfest, the complimentary water, the turndown service, the fact they had a cheuffer service around Ubud that was not on a timetable but just on request. The hotel was intuitive, with mosquito repellant and coils available for guests. Decent Gym too, used most days i stayed and good size swimming pool both in the villa and common area. There was a great range of choices for breakfast and we particularly enjoyed having scrambled eggs freshly made for us. The staff were all delightful, so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful balcony that we enjoyed sitting on and where we ate our dinner one night. We had an almost private pool and enjoyed a swim there. It was an unexpected bonus that afternoon tea was provided each day and that was a good way to experience some Balinese specialties. The location was excellent for access to the Monkey Forrest and Ubud Palace, plus lots of shops and restaurants.

There were a lot of steps to negotiate, which for older people can be a challenge, particularly in the wet. However, we could have asked to be moved to a different room but opted to stay in the allocated one and treat the 95 steps as a good start to our daily exercise.

although I booked pool view, my view was obstructed by a large concrete roof, room 201, so this should be at a lower price in compartment the other rooms with full pol view

Twice a week the hotel area is sprayed with pesticide to keep bugs away. This is a good thing, however you best leave the hotel at the time, as it is some nasty stuff that fills the air even as far as the balconies on the fourth floor. I recommend checking with the staff upon arrival to be aware of spraying times.

over all our stay was amazing and so comfortable the hotel is very nice well prepared and most important i liked there was the staff very helpful very kind and always supportive and smiling even the staff in the afternoon tea was all amazing special thanks to ayu and novi and the rest of team .

i didnt like that the door of each room is not closed properly and in jungle area its very easy to that anything can pass by to our room the gap between door was big in all rooms

Hotel on main strip full of bars and restaurants. But once you enter it is so peaceful, tranquil and beautiful. We had a villa about 5 minutes walk from main building with a shared swimming pool with another villa. The rooms have everything you need with a huge indoor shower, super comfy bed and large terrace.

If you don't like steps, choose your room carefully or ask to be close to the main building. The first villa they showed us was about 10 to 15 minutes walk and so many steep steps. But the staff were understanding and brilliant and changed our villa.

Location is excellent, right in town, Monkey forest and markets are a walkable distance and there are hundreds of dining options close by. The hotel also provides a shuttle to local attraction if you don’t want to walk. Although on a busy street the hotel is like a sanctuary once you step inside. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was great. Cocktails were also good. The staff very friendly and helpful. Both the private pool at our villa and the main hotel pool were lovely, though very deep! Gardens also beautiful. The villa was spacious and clean with large loggia area including a fridge and sofas.

Our villa was located an extremely long and steep walk from reception, request one close to reception. The bathroom needed better ventilation. There was some noise from nearby businesses, might have been due to the location of our specific villa. I guess If you’re going to be in the middle of town you can’t expect complete silence.

Staff kindness and helpfulness as they helped called for medical help promptly its a very rainy night n the staff hv gone miles to help carry her to ambulance parked outside etc. They are very kind to offer any help. Our Villa is clean. Room service is efficient. Lamb first night was burnt though so not edible. Nasi goreng was very delicious. Fantastic location. Very Close to main street.

Not too many choices on menu for Room Service or restaurant. Breakfast options were not too many but good enough for us to have a decent relaxing morning.

Beautiful property, perfect location. Walking distance to everything but located in a quiet leafy oasis. The villas are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious with a variety of local and western fare. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here twice. The staff remembered us from our previous stay and gave us extra special treatment. I highly recommend KajaNe- we will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm surprised it's not 5 star. Our villa was exceptional, spacious, beautiful, very clean. Room service was great. The pool was fantastic. We normally don't spend much time in our hotel besides sleeping, but we just didn't want to leave this hotel. It was great to hang out by the pool and enjoy the beautiful garden. The staff were lovely, helpful and kind. Food was great. The massage was divine.

Our villa was kind of far from reception, and we had to climb a lot of stairs back and forth, but it was worth it! 😊 If you have trouble walking and climbing stairs, ask for a room or villa closer to the entrance, but that one will probably be a bit noisy at night, given the traffic and the live music around the area.
