Eka and her team were the most friendly and helpful hosts! She even found me a great last minute driver to my next location.The banana pancake breakfast was a treat. I traveled during off season so it was very quiet. I wanted to see the temple and it was perfect location, just a short walk up the road and I was there! The resturaunt was closed, but they made menues available for me to order from and would bring food to my porch for dining. A lovely wood room with a cozy bed that invites you to rest, AC, & hot shower. If you want relaxation and time to visit the temple and mountain this is it.

The property is right up in Menanga and would have an amazing view of Mt Agung on a clear day. The bungalow style of the rooms feels authentic and the surrounding area is very calm and quiet. Breakfast was served on the room balcony. The ownere was very sweet, as we were running very late from the airport she wasn't sure we were coming but when we arrived, she helped us with everything and with our transport the next day. We would have stayed here longer if we had more time!

The woman who worked there was very nice and friendly you could ask her for anything. They helped us with the agung trekking gave us advice and a guide. The food was brought to your room. You could even ask for dinner and they would also bring it to your room. The shower was very good and beautiful sight from the room.

The room was full of spider webs. Also the father of the woman who arranged every thing was very nice but he was a bit pushy about the taxi and did not understand english so it was very irritating trying to explain thungs to him.

Nice view from pool side bungalow. Short walking distance to temple. Otherwise there is nothing special in village.

A lot of roosters "singing" around very early at morning. There were roosters even at hotel area in cages ! It belogs to balinece cultur, but is noisy. Breakfast is simple, not many choices. If you take omelette, it is only omelette without bread. No fruits if you not select fruits.

Best location if you want to climb Mount Agung for the sunrise, or enjoy the ceremonies in the Besakih temple. We got the breakfast at noon when we returned from our hike which was very pleasant! I enjoyed the pool - little chilly which was great for my recovery swim after the hike :D Staff very helpful, helped us organise driver for the next day as its hard to get any in this locality. Tasty big breakfast, big pot of turkish coffee. Amazing view and pesceful location! The villas with pool view are wonderful!

The pool water level was well below the infinity level. Not a biggie though, however, it looks like June is still not a main season up there.. The only snake I saw in Bali was in the garden here - but a gardener shush him away. This could happen anywhere I guess ;-) though I’m not a fun.

We had a room right next to the infinity pool where we could see the far side of Bali and the distant beach then behind us the magnificent Mount Agung . The cabin type rooms are lovely and authentic . The staff are also lovely !

Absolutely nothing ....except it is so far away from our home in Egypt .

A bit remote if you want to base your trip on Sideman but it is right next to Besakih temple which is great.

Everything ..brilliant location to visit Besakih temple ..300 metre walk to entrance . Nice wooden hut rooms , beautiful outlook . Eka and staff were lovely and very attentive . Although menu is limited ..the food was very nice ...huge breakfast included .

A waterstation would be a good idea to save on plastic .

My stay at Puri Karang Besikah exceeded expectations, thanks in large part to their adorable and friendly doggie host, Chiko. He added an extra layer of warmth and welcome to an already wonderful experience. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
