This was a gorgeous place, I recommend anyone considering booking accommodation in this area to come here. It was very clean, the view from our room was amazing, and the customer service was warm and exceptionally fast and responsive. I really couldn’t believe how amazing the customer service was, to be honest. I’m a dance enthusiast, and ended up having two free Balinese dance lessons with one of the staff, which I totally hadn’t expected but were easily the highlight of the visit, truly really special. I also had a massage one evening, very affordable and enjoyable. The staff were fantastic about organising drivers for day trips for us. The area is rather away from the usual tourist things (apart from Pura Besakih, which is very close) and I’m afraid the roads are terrible and it made journeys very slow. I would however recommend going for a walk down the road to a local swimming spot serviced by waterfalls; I wish we’d discovered on day one! Come here if you are looking for tranquillity and first rate customer service.

Restaurant Edelweiss was average and expensive but you are paying for the views. You only get 2 tiny bottles of water and have to pay for refills

Such a great place to stay near Agung! I stayed longer in the area just for the hotel itself! Great views, peaceful, super comfy facilities, everything is there, great service and friendly staff

Boasting views, wonderful and beautiful hotel, with nice staff, good service and beautifully decorated dishes. The rooms have a smart tv with Netflix, YouTube etc. The dishes I can recommend are warm croissants, fruit platter, blueberry yoghurt with quinoa granola, MASSALA omelette, the Indonesian dumpling soup and the shrimp noodles. I did not enjoy the other egg dishes or the humus dish nor the pancakes.

Although the hotel itself was beautiful, I would not recommend the standard room. Our AC sometimes did not work and needed fix 2 times. Also, the toilet had some issues and the water from the toilet gun was not stopping.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very comfy and the swimming pool is just amazing with the best view you can ask for! The breakfast is great as well.

All the prices for extras are so expensive compared to any other places we’ve been to in Bali… From the prices on the menu it needs to add 21% tax… Scooter rental, massages, restaurant everything is way too expensive…

Friendly and very service minded staff. Good location. Unfortunately clouds covered Mt. Agung our entire stay, but you can't blame the hotel for that. It's a very nice location and a good hotel for a fair price. Breakfast was amazing

this place is like a little paradise - the view over the mount Agung and the jungle below is just spectacular! definitely worth adding this stop to your Bali experience - staying there was one of the highlights of my trip. the staff are super nice and go way beyond to make the stay even more pleasurable. the mask dance on Tuesday evening was a wonderful extra bonus!

The Tapa Agung is a heavenly place with an absolutely stunning view of the impressive Mount Agung. The quality of the staff is like that of a luxury hotel, with lots of small touches that make a difference (you feel like you're part of the family and not just considered as simple customers). The breakfast in front of the Batur and Agung volcanoes is excellent with a variety of options. The room is comfortable, and the front desk offers several well-organized activities (punctuality, complete packages, etc., always with a smile), although a bit expensive. The infinity pool is superb and always with that incredible view. We will never forget the kindness and warm welcome from Ratna, Kedek, Dwi, June, and the entire team. A big thank you for the week we spent with you.

The extra activities are a bit expensive (restaurant, transport etc.) and there is nothing around if you are not using any vehicle.

The staff was amazing. Helpful and kind. They even helped us with Telkomsel. The landscape was beautiful. We could see Mount Agung clearly most of the time. It was also possible to work from the terrace. The wifi was good for videocalls in our computers. The rental bikes were in perfect condition. On our day of checkout, they prepared us breakfast boxes as we had to leave before breakfast was open. We truly had an amazing stay!

We didn't find restaurants nearby so we ended up almost always having meals in the hotel. I ordered the special dish of the day twice and it was a much smaller portion than expected. Other than that, all good!
