Staff were friendly. Service from staff was excellent. The host was very helpful and personable, and he helped organise taxi, trips, and even laundry. The view from the hotel restaurant is amazing. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and the gardens were tranquil and beautiful. Always had hot water for a shower, and aircon was adequate (did not turn down lower than 18 degrees C). The hotel provided a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel restaurant menu (not the buffet) was very limited. The pillows were very, very thick (too high for us), made for uncomfortable nights' sleep.

The most amazing views! What a stunning place to stay in - we were blown away by the panoramic views of the rice fields - you won't be disappointed. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Our room was clean and exactly what we needed for our one night stay. Where we were staying was very peaceful and secluded and it was very helpful having the restaurant attached to the property as it meant we didn't need to worry about where to go in the evening.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was ideal for our one night stay. I would probably bear in mind you will need transport if you are staying in the area for any length of time e.g. taxi, bike, private car.

The location and night-time dining was good. The grounds and the view are stunning. The rooms are very nice and great value.

I did not like that for a solo traveller the online price for included breakfast was for two people. So then, at the restaurant the breakfast price, with a good coffee was well over 100,000 for an average breakfast. The bathrooms seem like an afterthought, and there is zero soundproofing, I could hear my neighbour as he sat down.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights as we were heading to climb Mt. Agung. The reception organized the tour guide and driver immediately at a reasonable price. The room was clean and had a nice little terrace to chill on. The resort itself is a bit dated but it’s well maintained and has a nice garden. The view from the restaurant and the pool was great.

Food choices were limited and priced on the higher side, everything we tried was just ok.

Really beautiful place with one of the best views of Bali. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help out where possible. Would definitely recommend

The restaurant isnt great. The breakfast was quite poor and deserves more attention. The continental breakfast consists of two toasts with a cup of butter and jam.

The breakfast was nice. Provision of fresh fruit daily was appreciated. The sourdough bread was so nice

Coffee creamer was damp and opted not to use it. The Americano breakfast option was dry. Need to include fried mushroom or baked beans

Lovely stay at the resort, we extended for an extra night mainly because of the tranquility and views. The rooms were clean; spacious. Beds were okay too.

Internet is not amazing, so wouldn't recommend it for those looking to stay and work. The Pool situation was resolved the next day, so not sure if we were unlucky with the uncleaned pool the first day..?

Absolutely gorgeous property! This is a true gem of a find! We were travelling by scooter to Amed & stopped here. Gorgeous property, stunning views & so quiet. It was a nice change to only hear the noisy cicadas rather than street traffic of Bali. We sat watching the mountain playing cards all afternoon.

This was hands down the best accomodation we had during our stay in Bali. First let's talk about the view. Oh my god, can you imagine looking at beautiful green rice terrace, WITH mount Agung in the background? It was mesmerizing! The staff hospitality. They always have a smile on their face, carried our luggage during check in AND also check out (not many host does this). They even put an umbrella in front of the room as it was raining in the morning. The gesture might look small but it touched our heart. The room was lovely. It was a four poster bed with drapes and they even decorated it with a swan towel. They have nice swimming pool as well, I can't resist but took a short swim even though it was still cold because of the rain earlier. I would definitely recommend Mahagiri to my friends if they ever stay in Bali. I think it's a must to see Mahagiri's view.

The view over the rice paddies & with Mt Agung reaching up out of the clouds was exquisite. Sunrise is the time to be up. Made, the owner, was welcoming & informing
