Hotel was clean, comfortable and appreciated the little extras that made the stay great(cookies, breakfast, great auto grind coffee machine in lobby, brochures of things to see in the area…) We were here with the kids to see White Sands Nat Park and I really appreciated that the hotel had sleds to lend out for the dunes. The kids spent hours with them and this would have been a significant rental fee. I would definitely stay here again.

The kids thought the inside pool was a little too cold to enjoy at this time of year (feb).

Great location, minutes away from White Sands Monument National Park, but close enough to Carlsbad Caverns to do them both in a weekend and stay here. Loved the breakfast options which were better than any other hotel breakfast we had had over the prior three weeks. Was pleasantly surprised to discover that they loan sleds and wax for sliding at White Sands, allowing all three in our family to participate at the same time. Beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the late pool-jacuzzi hours for our arrival after visiting and traveling from the caverns.

Location was good, just a few short blocks from highway. Our king room was very comfortable and clean. There was a laundry facility for guests. The building was quiet. Very nice breakfast. A couple varieties of eggs, potatoes, pork and chicken sausage options, cereal, yogurt. Sit down dining options were very close by. Drive thru fast food was a short drive away. Our mini fridge had a freezer which was much appreciated as we could refreeze our ice pack for the next days journey.

There was some room confusion with our room and a later arrival (9 pm ish). The staff got it worked out .

We were there for two nights so we were surprised the second morning, a weekend, did not have any bacon but sausage instead. My kids eat bacon but dislike sausage so they were disappointed. The rooms were comfortable. I like the dove shampoo/conditioner/soap bottles supplied in the shower. The beds were very cozy. I really like the refrigerator as it had its own freezer compartment with its own door. The hot tub was nice.

The first room we were given smelled completely of cigarettes like a casino smelling of cigarettes. The smell was very strong. I'm surprised the hotel would assign this room to anyone as you couldn't breathe the moment you stepped in. We were given another room that didn't smell so wondering why, we weren't given this room in the first place. We didn't like that bacon was not served every morning and people were dropping the tongs on the floor. We didn't like the people staying there with kids, where their kids were throwing piles of food in the trash (like why did you let them get so much food in the first place).

THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY; VERY NICE. LOCATION WAS GREAT, NOT HARD TO FIND. THE STAFF OFFERED THE SLEDS FOR THE WHITE SANDS AREA FOR FREE!!! HOW COOL IS THAT! WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND OUR FRIENDS; ACTUALLY WE ALREADY HAVE.

BREAKFAST, IT WAS NOTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. JUICE WAS A BIT WATERED DOWN. WITH SUCH GREAT SERVICE, ROOMS, CLEANLINESS AND PRICING, THERE COMES AN EXPECTATION OF AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST BAR.

Good location on outskirts of Alamogordo. The room was clean with one exception, and the view was onto countryside. The breakfast service and selection were very good. Reception staff friendly but very young.

The in-room coffee machine was dirty. Couldn’t call the front desk because the room phone was not connected. One of the staff came to the room to find the lead and re-connect.

While the two-queen-bed plus sofa bed suite was $200 per night ($100 more than similar room at cheaper hotel), it included high quality breakfast for three. That's worth $75 right there... plus a hot tub and free sled lending for white sands? Awesome.

Only one four-man elevator for entire hotel. We used the stairs alot.

Excellent location for visiting White Sands NP. Staff was plentiful, friendly and efficient. Room was large and very comfortable. Excellent restaurant walking distance. Laundry room was great and useful. Bottled water provided was necessary and appreciated.

Wished there was an option for outside sitting area.

Good breakfast, lots of towels, sleds for the park and loved the pumps for products in shower. Looks like they might be saving plastic by refilling them rather than give mini bottles. Afternoon cookies were also great.

WiFi was a little weak at certain times of the day. One elevator wasn’t ideal.

We loved how they lended us little sleds for free for white sands! Also loved the Liquid hand soap and lotion! No little tiny bars like other hotels. Beds and bedding super comfortable. Complimentary bottled water. Super friendly staff.

Breakfast selection could be a little better. The cinnamon rolls weren’t great, coffee neither.
