We booked a family room with 3 queen beds and a sofa. This was perfect for our family of 6 +large dog. We fit comfortably in the room and didn't feel we were constantly on top of each other. The staff was very helpful, and mentioned at check in that if we needed more towels or anything else to let them know and they would bring them up, we found we did not quite have enough towels for the 6 of us and we had towels within 10 minutes.

We got in late, after doing sunset photos at White Sands, and the air conditioner hadn't been turned on so the room was pretty hot and it took a while to cool down. We decided the next time we stay there we will just make sure to check in earlier before heading to White Sands.

It was clean and had all the basics I needed, which included a mini frig. When I asked for an item, they immediately delivered. Price was way low so I was not expecting all the conveniences and that's just fine now and then. Helps me count my blessings.

The surface/ finish of the tub was badly scarred, but it was clean. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. When this happens, I pull out my oversized "bed pillow" or some may say mattress pad. It solved that problem.

I stayed in Room 121: nice furniture, fairly fresh paint, wood / laminate flooring. Employee who checked me in was very pleasant. Room and bathroom was clean.

Recommend to sleep with earplugs. The train track sounds like it's right across the street, and there is a crossing very close where they blow their horns. Look, if you're considering staying here you're clearly on a tight budget like me, and wearing earplugs is a small consideration considering the affordability of this property.

It’s a family run business and they were incredibly nice. They took really good care of me and gave me a great deal for the time that I was here. The rooms were clean,there’s a few restaurants nearby. They were always asking if I had everything that I needed. I enjoyed my stay here. The price is right. It’s a good environment and I would stay here again if I was in the area. 

I appreciated the owners of the Satellite Inn in Alamogordo, NM. I love that they are renovating such a hotel. Need more spaces like this to travel to in each city in the U.S.

I have no dislikes.

Its a old property but very large room with 65 inch tv . And very clean room. Has new mattress . This is my second trip in alamogordo , first time i stay in other hotel and room are small .

The room was very comfortable and was decorated and cleaned like a home. The lady that looked after the cleaning of the rooms was very welcoming and friendly.

No coffee making facilities.

Nothing about the property itself was noteworthy, but that’s Alamogordo- the room itself was just fine for what I needed, a place to sleep.

My only disappointment were the bath towels, questionable cleanliness and ridden with holes- might want to hit walmart for new ones guys-

The staff was very helpful because Booking did not send them our reservations but the hotel manager gave us the same rate anyway.

The vent fan in the bath room needed repair. It sounded like it was breaking apart.
