I was pleased with this property upon arrival and seeing the adorable boutique at check in. The property is well situated and the room was spacious. The most luxurious thing was having FULL SIZE bath sheets for after a shower. Being able to completely dry off and wrap in a towel was much appreciated. The room also had a small table with two chairs for eating takeout and a separate desk for work if needed. The bed was comfortable and despite having an exterior door, room was quite quiet. Did not use breakfast or pool, but both were offered and appeared to be of good quality. The exterior hallways were well lit at night/early morning and were camera monitored for safety/security. There is a pet relief area and waste station available.

Need shades on window in bathroom to block light from hotel next door, but this was remedied by closing the bathroom door. Also no ventilation fan in bathroom. The mini refrigerator was noisy and had not been defrosted recently so it was built up with old ice.

Great location. Well kept grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge room that was nicely decorated. Delicious, fresh made, custom breakfast options. I also bought some snacks from the store/office for a very reasonable cost.

Door keys seem to have a problem opening the doors and require rekeying. Unfortunately, the 1st night I stayed in the room I saw 2 cockroaches moving about. By morning, they were upside down and dead. Obviously the hotel is addressing them, but just wish I had never seen them alive.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The little gift shop is also pretty neat. Overall, a good experience. Would absolutely stay here again.

If I have to complain about something, it would be the parking. The lots big, but there's not many spots in front of the rooms, so if you get there late and all the spots are taken you have to walk. It's really not that big of a deal though. We were there Memorial Day weekend, so I'm sure it's busier than usual.

The breakfast was outstanding! The Classic menu is included in your stay and is made to order. I'm used to breakfast buffets at restaurants, so this was a great perk and consistently good. My hubby loved the breakfast burrito! We were headed to White Sands and were pleasantly surprised they had sleds and wax to borrow for the day. There were many lunch and dinner options nearby as well.

The shampoo and body wash dispensers weren't labeled, so you had to guess which was which, but this was not a huge deal.

The check in process was very quick and I was in my room within minutes of arriving. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Possibly the best part was breakfast- staying at the hotel inclues a free, cooked to order breakfast. Not just a few bagels sitting out, but your choice of several breakfast plates which were served in their restaurant and were very tasty, which was a great way to start the day. The staff were all very courteous, and I would be glad to stay at this hotel again.

Check in time is 4:00 I think. When I made my reservation, I said I planned to arrive at 1:00 in the afternoon and they sent me an email saying I could not do so unless I paid an extra fee.

The mattress was very broken down as you sit down and try and sleep all night it hurt my back and didn't get a well-rested night. The curtains would not fully close as I am a single female anybody could just look in walking by with the light on which made me feel uneasy. I didn't have a clamp for my hair to keep it closed as curtains could be done that way. Overall it was a pleasant stay in the room was clean but a little unnerving trying to get a good night's sleep.

The room was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was included and delicious! The location made taking care of our tasks in Alamogordo very smooth.

The manager was quite officious and wanted to know "the name of his employee who promised us we could be on the first floor." (We are old with arthritis and had made our request known at the time of booking, a few weeks before our arrival, and had received an e-mail back saying they were happy to save such a room for us.) And later, I tried to book a room for another time and the same manager (who always identified himself as such) said he couldn't take my call because he was "not in the office," said he would call back, but never did. If you can overlook this defining personality, you will love the motel. The motel itself was very pleasant.

Breakfast was good but slow to come out (30mins for one person). The lobby had a nice gift shop with items from local artist and some more mainstream tourist souvenirs. Room was clean and everything worked.

The room furniture was dated which kind of went with a desert motel feel and the artistic touches on the exterior. The room was clean but needed more lighting and the curtains to be updated.

Great location. Always reliable when passing through town. Love that they are pet friendly. Love the breakfast. Staff is always helpful. The facility is a little dated. The room we stayed in did not have a working AC, but staff was very accommodating and upgraded our room which ended up being great! Love the gift shop!

AC did not work in our room but was correct and upgraded our room to a king suite with hot tub. So really no complaints.

If you are looking for a classic “motel” style place to stay, this is it! It is conveniently located but quiet. The rooms were very large with room at spread out. The beds and pillows were comfortable and everything was extremely clean!!!!! Big fluffy towels and all the necessities were supplied. Breakfast was included and it was hot fresh breakfast served individually!!! There is a very nice gift shop in the main lobby/check in area. Everyone we met who worked there was so helpful and friendly!

The only issue we had was making online reservations for 2 adults and 2 kids. It tried to make us book 2 rooms. I just booked one with 2 queen beds and told them at check in and she took care of it. It was confusing, but not an issue.
