They have put a lot of money into remodeling this property and it was one of the cleaner Motel 6's I have stayed at. It was quiet. The AC worked, there was hot water, I was glad there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. I appreciated being able to unload right to the door/room and not have to go inside a building and up stairs. Easy access to the White Sand Dunes (20 minute drive south). The front desk staff were all nice and helpful.

I was in the handicap room and the shower head couldn't really be adjusted and kept spraying into the corner. I was able to stand for my shower and found it hard to shower as I was basically up against the tile and rails in the corner. When I went to adjust the head, the bottom of the rail pulled out from the bottom "screw" and then the shower head fell off and hit me in the head. The pressure was not real good to rinse either. Maybe a shower massage head on a hose that is more stable and able to be clipped in to stay attached would be a better solution.

Location was great, the room was small but clean, the staff was friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful in helping my son find his forgotten pillow. Although we didn't find it they were still helpful in trying to help find it.

Night time noise level was not good.

The tiles in the bathroom need some updating but it’s not anything that would prevent me from booking again. The lady working at check in and check out was very nice. I always appreciate friendly people working!

This is under new ownership and this owner is on site and cares. I was worried about the lower reviews in the past, but I was going to be there for a short trip, So I thought it would be ok. I was so surprised at the difference between the room and the reviews. The room was so clean, the bed was comfortable, the microwave was not kust a microwave, but also a convection oven and air fryer. The towels were thick and clean. This was the perfect place to be and at a great price.

Others in the past had complained about road noise. This is on a busy street and I am a light sleeper. It did not pose an issue for me, but if you are concerned about this, please communicate that to the owner. There is a whole back side of the building and I cant imagine the noise would travel back there. The internet was an issue as I work remotely. I did talk to the owner and because he just purchased this, the account is not yet in his control. I do empathize with him, and I am sure it will be better soon, it was just not great timing for me. It did work most of the time for general use. Video calls and voice over IP were the biggest issues.

No breakfast provided (to anyone). I would probably give it a 10 if there was breakfast. It’s clean, a good price, the staff is nice, it’s attractive.

Pool did not appear to be functional. Breakfast would be nice.

I didn’t like that they take away extra fees when they dont even show that on the booking reservations. Also i don’t know why they lock the tv and make the wifi hard to connect, i always carry an extra hdmi for my work powerpoints and its the first motel out of all the motels 6 that has their tvs with restrictions. And i dont think thats fair because were paying EXTRA fees, thats the least they can do is have the tvs unlocked & wifi easier for used.

This Motel 6 location was very quiet, the room was clean, we spent there 3 nights visiting National Parks nearby, and our room was being cleaned daily. Highly recommend!

Very close to White Sands (like 15-20 min by car) so it was exactly what we wanted. We took a disability room because it was cheaper and it was very good as the shower was big. We could borrow a hairdryer in the morning but you need to ask for it as they have only one. Staff was very kind. Free tea and coffee in the morning at the reception.

The location was amazing, with a beautiful view. The staff is super friendly! The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. The area is quiet!

I’ve been in many Motel 6 and it was a different experience because of the staff, very kind and helpful, and because it was very clean and you could see that it was take car of.

it’s not a fancy place and the facilities are essentials but I think is what you expect with the price it got.
