Room was clean and felt current/new. We could walk to Krónan and to plaza across the street. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice and it was great to have dedicated laundry in the 2br. The studio apartment was nice as well - shared laundry.

We booked two apartments for our party of 7. I didn’t realize we would be two buildings away from each other which was disappointing. If you have mobility issues, I’d suggest requesting a room on the ground level as there is no elevator and it’s exterior stairs (no cover - not ideal to carry luggage up in the pouring rain). For the 2 br, we aligned with the road to get to/from the nearby campground which was kind of noisy when windows were kept open. Rooms got warm and only 1 fan for the 2 br.

The room was very clean. The bathroom also was spotless. Nice products and hair dryer. Laundry detergent was in the bath room drawer. Loved the heated floors - our wet clothes that we hung in the bathroom were totally dry the next morning. Liked the laundry facility outside our door - though had to remove clothes before they were dry to comply with quiet hours. I got a late start on laundry because the other room's laundry had not finished yet. Right across the street from stores, restaurants and our tour office so we were able to leave our car parked and walk across the street for the start of our tour the next morning. Great location!!

Not insulated enough. Had a group of 4 college students above us. Though they were not loud after posted hours, could hear a lot of noise until then. The table was a little small even though there were just two of us. We had the studio apartment. Our daughter had the two bedroom apartment and it was much roomier. I know rooms are very expensive in Iceland so I didn't really expect a much bigger room.

The apartment was spacious and beautiful. It has an ocean view. It was easy to cook breakfast in. All the furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of room to unpack and put everything away. The apartment shares a free washer and dryer with one other apartment. I booked this place for the laundry, being mid trip, it aloud us to pack less cloths. The unit came with plenty laundry soap and dishwasher detergent. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, paper towels. There was dish soap, and a broom. There was not house keeping, but it was very clean when we got there, and easy to clean up after our self's. It was close to local attractions, and easy walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. There hotel restaurant was delicious! You will not regret staying here especially as a family, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day of adventures. There is plenty of room for a hot tub on that patio, that's the only thing that could have made the stay better!

Check in was difficult. The app that was supposed to give us a code didn't give us a code, and we couldn't figure out where reception was. It is in the Vic Hotel. That should have been in the check in instructions. We arrived early, and probably could have checked in early, but didn't know where to go. It did not detract much from out stay, and i would still highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a family suite and it was much larger than any other places we stayed. The location was perfect across the street from the grocery store, gas, black crust pizza, and our tour pick up spot with Katla Track. Room was very clean and windows provided great ventilation on a summer night. Black out curtains were decent. Bed was comfy and pull out sofa was as well. Washer and dryer was a great addition.

LOVED staying at this apartment. Stayed with my husband and three boys ages 18-23. Check-in was smooth. Notified by email and the Aero guest app when the room was ready and what the code was. Immaculately clean and spacious. BONUS was the 2 in 1 washer dryer combo in the bathroom. Took a little getting used to but was able to wash and dry two loads overnight. Plus they provide laundry pods for washing! The pull out couch was made for us when we arrived. Beds were super comfortable. Perfect size for all of us. Shower hot with good water pressure.

The location was PHENOMENAL. Located directly across or adjacent to (all within walking distance) a liquor store, a grocery store and multiple restaurants and bars. This includes Black Crust Pizza- a very popular spot in Vik. It was just a few minutes drive to Vik Brewery, the Lava show and The soup company, also popular Vik destinations. You can see the famous church from there and also are a quick drive to the black sand beach. From the outside, I was a little worried to be honest but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The inside was modern, clean and was a really enjoyable space for us! They had a washer in dryer (shared between the large apt which was had and a studio apt) but you needed your own soap, so that was a bit of a bummer. For the price I feel like including soap would be very fair. Overall a great stop close to so much!

The cement exterior, although practical for the location, made me worried about my choice when we pulled up. Much better inside. The price, even for the space was high but I don’t regret the stay

We stayed in the Vil apartments for one day and when we walked in we were blown away. The apartment far exceeded our expectations, it was amazing. The part meant had a separate washing machine and tumble drier which we didn’t know about and was a a great addition so that we could wash our clothes and the beds were very comfortable, my sister wanted to take the pillow home it was so comfortable. The location was fantastic, across the road from the local supermarket (Krónan) and everything else was in walking distance l, but we did have a car. The water pressure away great for a shower and the products they give (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) smelt amazing. Excellent apartment. Would de stay there again!

The apartments are great, very functional and spacious. The location is just across the street to the supermarket. Easy parking in front of the room.

The door lock was not working properly for one of our apartments. We entered a correct code, but the door won't open. Even though the staff was quickly coming to help, nothing could be done on Sunday night. So, either we had to leave the door opened, or we climbed from our next apartment to get in from the balcony, otherwise we won't be able to enter the room. Quite a tedious experience. And it's not only happening to us. The other group in the same building also couldn't get in their room after dinner.

I like that you could walk to the beach and have a access to all the amenities of Vik Iceland. The place also was comfortable with two bedrooms that could hold four people in a living room sofa. They could hold another one or two people the kitchen was modern and had the basic necessities.

One challenge we had is that the bathroom could not be cooled down or at least we couldn’t figure out how to cool it down. We didn’t ask the staff as it wasn’t that big of an issue, but something to keep in mind.

This is a fantastic roomy appartment and a great place to come back to after a long day out. The place is not only clean - it is spotless (I am very picky when it comes to cleaniness and this place delivers!!) - and it is very well-equipped as well so you just need to move in and start living. The car parking is right outside of the appartment so it is very xonvenient. A supermarket is 2mins away. Highly recommended.

We moved in to Apt 11 and it had a window broken so it needs to be fixed. I informed mgmt and they promised to fix it. Doesn’t change the fact that it is a fantastic place.
