We loved the private location of this group of guesthouses! This had the most space of all our accommodations, complete with a small living room and kitchen! We were able to see and pet the neighboring horses.

The directions provided by the host for what to put into Google Maps got us lost. The place names can be very misleading in Iceland, and her directions didn't match up with the town or was near or with the physical map. We lost an hour.

We did not realize or note anywhere from booking.com that check-in ended at 9pm. Fortunately we were able to call and she was able to leave the keys for us. We also weren't aware we had to make a reservation to have breakfast. we didn't find that in the reservation or in the notes in the room.

This was our first experience staying at a guesthouse, and it exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were even more comfortable and inviting than some hotels we visited in Iceland. Set on a charming farm, the guesthouse offers a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of activities and attractions available in the surrounding area.

The guesthouse undersells itself and has some added facilities. There was a guest fridge and microwave 😍. There is an on site restaurant that you can have dinner at however I was unable to find any menu or opening hours online. They do cook a mean fish and chips. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in Iceland. The scenery was stunning

The guesthouse is not in Vik. The walk to the beach is 3km. Vik is a 20km drive away. The walls are very thin and I could hear... "activities" in the room next door. The combined shower toilets do not do a good job at keeping water from the shower away from the toilet. The breakfast starts at 8:30am and costs 3000kr. I had to leave before then

Cosy cabin, very neat with large rooms and great facilities. Twenty minutes drive (west) of Vik which makes it close to a lot of attractions on the icelandic south coast.

No dinner service in late season and a short (and very manageable) gravel road to access the property. Not big problems by any means, just be prepared!

First thing which i remembered from this place was your adorable dog (i am sorry we couldn't remember name, pretty sure it was one of the emperor's) ! i played with him in the morning before we left. Also, bed was super comfortable, i slept like a baby. + area was pretty. - Sasu M.

Excellent location, close to the Ring road. The room was big, clean and had everything that we needed. But the best part was the staff - we arrived late evening but the hostess was kind enough to still cook dinner for us. Food was amazingly delicious and presented like in a 5 stars French restaurant. Breakfast was very good too, especially the 4 types of home made marmalade !

Some farm machinery on the properties around made the guesthouse less appealing

Location was easy to find. It was quiet during the night when all the other travellers were asleep.

If you’re trying to have a nap during the day, expect to be woken up by the noise right outside your door. I also wish there was a bathroom for every room but it was clear on their ad that bathroom is shareable.

Room was spacious, host was friendly. Hair dryer didn’t work and host was quick to help. Location was pastoral with access to grounds for walking and exploring.

It was a bit farther out of town than anticipated. Expensive for the location and few amenities, no coffee, dinner was not offered during our stay.

The location was very easy to find just off the main road. GPS took us directly there. The room was very clean and our shared bathroom was located just steps from our room. We had a nice window that opened up to view the horses in the back. We paid for the breakfast in the morning so it made it super convenient. The waffles were the star of the breakfast offerings. My daughter LOVED that there were super friendly horses just outside which would come to the fence for her to pet.
