Location: close to the ring road, but still felt like we were in a remote area. Close to Seljavallalaug swimming pool. Cozy cabin with spacious living area (couch, table, kitchen) and bathroom. All modern/updated facilities.

The bedroom was very small. It just contained a bed with very little space to walk. I would have like a bedside table on both sides of the bed. We don’t prefer to put personal items in the floor. But the bed was comfortable. Staff is not available on premises but someone entered the cabin when we were not there, and changed out the towels, which we didn’t really need.

Small but very nice cabin, in a strategic area, also convenient for eating without moving. The large window overlooking a suggestive panorama is beautiful. Good price quality. Parking in front of the apartment. Easy and quick check out.The bed was the right size. Well heated. Good privacy. There is the possibility of using a common kitchen (which gave off a terrible smell) and bathrooms.

No support surface, no hangers, wardrobes, there is no hairdryer. As already said by everyone, the staff is an abstract entity, despite the numerous requests (mail, booking, whatsapp) we have only received a telegraphic "no" by email, Then total silence. When we arrived there was no one and no one answered the phone from the two numbers made available. After some time a kind man showed up who gave us the keys. The kitchen only had cookware and dish soap, tea but things like salt, oil or napkins don't. The Wi-Fi does not connect and the television line continues to jump.

Nice location, good beds and also good shower. Good ad where the curtains , with the amount of light. Car in front of the cottage was handy! Also clean towels after 2 days was a good thing!

The shower lacked a bin and some hooks for a towel or such. The shelf above the sink was very out of place, really did not feel comfortable putting anything up there. In the kitchen and more places was not cleaned thoroughly. Of course this is an easy fix.

Perfect Cabins in a very nice location. Its abit small but was very comfortable for the 2 of us. Saw the bad reviews but didnt experience any of it. Check in details was sent promptly thru watsapp. Place was super clean. Good kitchen. Toilets even have floor heating. Easy parking and access even in heavy snow. We had an awesome view and saw the northern lights. Its was a lovely stay.

Heaters need to be bled. Not working properly and place was abit cold as a result but not too bad.

The rooms are standalone villas of a sort with all the basic amenities. The location was excellent, just at the base of Eyjafallajokul, visible from the bedroom window. All rooms have a living area with great views of the field and the ring road, an inner cosy bedroom, an attached washroom, basic cooking utensils and appliances. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were required to contact the host via WhatsApp to receive a code. This code was to be used to open a key box that had the room keys.

It should be noted that all travelers may not have internet access when they have just arrived at the hotel. It would be nice if the hosts provided the code directly on the booking app or through Whatsapp a few hours prior to the scheduled check-in time. Alternatively, the hotel should provide internet access on the property that the guests can connect to before check-in to ease the process.

We loved the location because it was so close to all the waterfalls. The picture window was perfect to view the northern lights. It provided a small but great kitchen which we cooked our meals.

When we arrived, there was a disgusting odor like fishy smell or sewer in the entire place. We sprayed and used drops in the toilet. The smell was hone the next day. We think it was the toilet system .

The location was excellent for us to cover all the south Iceland locations around Vik. The kitchen had everything from microwave oven to Stove for quick breakfast or snacks.

The bed was really soft. It could be more firm. The water after shower goes all over the bathroom up to the door. So cleanup needed after each shower.

We loved these clean, comfortable little cabins in a remote area of Iceland! They were very clean and comfortable! The code for opening the key lock box was sent well in advance and it was easy to get in. It was a great experience, a lot like luxury camping. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Sitting area was nice. The staff were very nice.

We loved the cabins, the only thing we found difficult was the size of the bedroom, you had to crawl over one another to get in and out of the bed. A better design would be no wall with the bed positioned for more room but this was not a big issue because we only stayed one night, A lot of the lightbulbs were burned out in our unit.

A little confusing because the email instructions indicated there was a number to call and that they would be a phone on the property to use, however, we eventually were emailed our room number and the code for the lockbox to get the key.

Brief interaction with a person who said "I am staff" was not all that friendly or helpful. Property lacks an ice machine. Beds were comfortable but wish the bed had a flat sheet, not just a comforter. Additionally, there were two twin size comforters, one each for my wife and I. Even though it was a queen size, bed. Comforters didn't quite reach the end of the bed so either my feet or exposed or my upper body was exposed. Not sure if that is because travelers are not as tall as I am, but nevertheless a single queen size comforter would have been better.
