❤️❤️this place❤️❤️ This quaint, traditional, homely guest house is just a wonderful place to stay! In a wonderful convenient location it really would suit everyone. Passing by or staying a while the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need (and then added a little bit more). Staying here we felt welcome and looked after and it’s clear they love what they do. From chocolates on your pillow, to wine and nibbles in the lounge (we stayed on a Saturday in winter) and complimentary breakfast (seasonal) with fresh ground coffee!! Even additional ammenities were close on hand. No need to ration or even ask when you run out. There isn’t a rating high enough for this accommodation.

Guest house has a great location and the room was clean and well-presented, with a few nice touches. We always appreciate the amenities the guesthouse offers.

A small disappointment was that I had asked for a downstairs room (like the one we stayed in previously) because the top floor north-west facing rooms can get very hot without an air conditioner, which makes sleep very difficult. (Perhaps some kind of external window shade might help here?) However, we did appreciate Richard making the effort to get us access to the room a little early and generally trying his best to be helpful.

Location is perfect. 1 block walk to the beach, shops/IGA and cafe's. The Terminus is a piece of history and has retained a lot of its old world charm. The lounges scattered throught the facility offered a quiet place to relax with friends. The pool/spa and kitchen area offer a great location for families. Overall Terminus offers little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have holidayed at point Lonsdale for 50 years and this was a bucket list experience we enjoyed.

We were glad we were nat staying Boxing Day as it was going to be 38 degrees and I did not notice any cooling/airconditioning. Not a big deal as we were comfortable the days we were there.

The thoughtfulness of everything supplied. The easiness of contactless check-in and checkout. The surprise of wine and cheese being available in the lounge as Saturday was a bleak day. The surprise of our room having a separate lounge area. Loved the amazing set up of the guest kitchen. On arrival into our room the ambience that greeted us was so nice. It was so homely and inviting.

The bed. The mattress felt like it needed to be desperately turned over. It had a hump in the middle and a big dip on the left side. Being placed under the window it was too easy to bump your head on the window sill.

We loved everything about our stay at the guest house. This accommodation is from another era. The age of the building only adds to the charm of the experience. Nautically themed, we enjoyed feeling completely at home with wonderful hosts and excellent facilities.

Nothing. Literally, we loved everything about this place. It may not be the kind of stay for everyone out there, but if you have a family, keen to save money and self-cater, and enjoy an excellent location and charming experience this is the place for you!

Location to town and lighthouse and nearby attractions was ideal. A great spot for a few days stay. Guest lounges were charming and welcoming when available. Self serve supplies table in hall for towels, coffee etc is a terrific idea.

Hallway and/or stairs were very noisy with footsteps from other guests each morning and late Friday around midnight. Bathroom was a little small for large people and more shelving near basin would have been helpful but all in all it did the job.

The room was cool and airy with a great verandah, tables and chairs for morning coffee. The pool was lovely but I prefer to swim in the sea. The jacuzzi was warm and relaxing, lovely to sit there under the sky. Table tennis and tennis gear was provided. The common kitchen was fabulous, even a morning Age there every morning. I extended my stay because it was such a relaxing holiday, with so much provision for self-catering and a lot of extras provided. Your room isn't cleaned every day but you can get fresh towels, tea, coffee, milk yourself when you need them. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, just our style! The genuinely respectful and generous spirit of this place (and Richard the manager) is very rare. Please do not ruin it for others.

Some other residents were a bit inconsiderate and noisy - screaming on their mobile phones At the pool area some residents chose pool lounge chairs then went off for ages & left their stuff meaning that no one else could have the use of the chairs

Clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making plus fridge for my wine! Good TV reception and comfy bed and pillows. Verandah outside with table and chairs. Well equipped guest kitchen. Great shower and plenty of towels. Pool and tennis court. Lovely old fashioned guest lounge and history of the guest house. About one block walk to shops and main beach and 10 minutes to the lighthouse and pier. All communication via text.

Pool was clean, tennis court clear but both a little ‘tired’ could do with a freshen up.

My partner and I have stayed here twice before and we have enjoyed both times. We love that it’s walking distance to the beach, affordable, and it offers activities (e.g. table tennis, pool, and fire pit). The rooms are basic and clean. The venue is quiet, couple friendly, and family friendly. The continental breakfast was a great option too. The check in is no fuss and easy, with your room unlocked and key available as you walk in. Lots of parking available out the back. We will definitely be back for a third stay.
