Location: Step away from the San Benito bus terminal and Plaza Presidente, yet peaceful and quiet premises Outdoors: Large pool, enough lounge chairs for everyone, hammocks, poolside services during the weekend, convenient sunny and shady spaces, free-range hens and peacocks add a luxurious feel, adequate volume for the ambient music Soft product: quality amenities, comfy bedding and towels, hot water with good pressure in the shower. We arrived at 1:00 pm and were offered a different room so we could check in early at no extra cost. The welcome drinks are a nice touch Room service: was quick, food was good and fairly priced. We asked for a corkscrew and it was provided. We left the tray outside our door and it was gone by next morning. No lingering trays anywhere in the hallways

The breakfast buffet has excellent hot food items, including the omelet bar, but the cold food left much to be desired. Eg: There was refrigerated bagel garnish (smoked salmon, cream cheese, onion and capers), but no bagels. Only 2 types of cheese, no fresh baguette or rye or ciabatta bread. A self-serve waffle maker with batter would be better than cold, ready-made waffles The garden area where the fowl cages are is not maintained, along the space called "Golfito." These could be rearranged fairly easily to provide extra green garden space for guests to walk or picnic by trimming overgrown trees.

The area is beautiful, modern, safe, and peaceful. (We particularly enjoyed the neighboring art museum. We had an exceptionally delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the culinary quality exceeded our expectations. The reception staff demonstrated exemplary professionalism and flexibility, resolving our issues efficiently and accommodating our requests promptly. The swimming pool is spacious.

The Wi-Fi connection frequently drops. Despite the elegant appearance, carpet flooring has long ceased to be a hygienic choice. While we didn't notice any signs of wear and tear in the hallways or rooms, it was evident that vacuuming might not be entirely effective.

I love the location and the ambiance. It really gives you that sense of relaxation and vacation experience. The staff were always very professional and courteous from the bellman to the staff in the cleaning crew. They were always there with a smile ready to assist. We arrived earlier than the usual checkin and were able to check in as soon as the rooms were made ready. The luggage stayed safely secured at the front desk while we were able to enjoy the garden and the restaurant. The evenings were also very relaxing in the lounge area. Food was always delicious and the restaurant staff again was superb. The rooms were so as always nice, clean and very comfortable. The Mall across the hotel is such a great and convenient thing. The San Benito area is again super easy to navigate with shops and restaurants and Museums. Overall I absolutely love this hotel, and have been coming back each time I travel back to ES.

It could use a facelift. The outside needs a coat of paint to give it the Grand Lux feel it used to have. It really needs a little bit of face lift. Also either install or make sure the bathroom exhaust fan are in working other. That always a plus.

Old money hotel. Great service, always friendly and able to accommodate different travel requests and arrange a variety of tours. Perfect location close to central and historical San Salvador

Shower water temperature could have been a little warmer

Loved the convenience and selection of breakfast items. Very high quality and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome and right across from new shops, restaurants that are really superb!!

Overall facility is very nice, but from the outside doesn't look well maintained. An exterior paint refresh would do wonders!! The room was very well maintained but a little dated.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, good food and fresh too! The pool was beautiful and the staff were very friendly! Also there was a wedding during our stay but the hotel did noticed us if we wanted to move rooms, which is great but we didn’t bother as the music was good!

Just the construction right outside the hotel… it caused a lot of traffic

The best is the pool and its area - quite big, beautiful nature, plenty time to enjoy it as it stays open from 6 am to 10 pm. The rooms were quite good, though the AC system is too loud. The breakfast was good. For a solo traveller it was perfect.

The view from the room - would have been nice to have a more central view either on the city (mountain) or the pool, but maybe the rooms with this view have higher price.

Staff is amazing, service was amazing very satisfied with our stay. I loved their restaurant and bar by the pool definitely a great experience.

Bathroom shower seal allowed water to flood bathroom floor every time we showered. Fridge in room not cold.

Good except they told me the pupusas were not part of the breakfast and I didn’t get any when I did find out they were all gone. Sadly I missed out maybe next time

At the bar area one of the bartenders was grumpy not friendly like the rest of staff wish I remembered his name, other than that I received good service
