The staff were very friendly & a great Indian restaurant is located at the property w/ a full bar. Also, if you show your room key they offered a 10% discount which was very nice! In the morning, a continental breakfast had enough options to get your day started. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it.

It’s an older property that could use updating & a good scrubbing in the hallways. The breakfast area could use some “homey” touches to make it an inviting place to eat.

I don't received information on when breakfast start on end, and when I ask in the counter they for breakfast they give me a bag with some snacks and water bottle.

This hotel is a favorite place to stay and unwind in Groton. We visit Noank for our anniversary and we love staying in room 221 with the hot tub and king. It's priced right. Though it has a few drawbacks. The facility is old. While rooms are modern, the structure, door jambs, window frames, etc, all show it. Plus the entire hotel has a lovely ethnic cooking aroma. There is a tasty and economical Indian food restaurant in the hotel that's hard to miss. Many of the rooms are also connected to community housing programs. So not everyone you meet is a guest. The rooms are clean and decorated very well and the beds are so comfortable. Even the lounge chair is great to sink into after a spell in the jacuzzi tub. It's definitely a special place for special occasions.

The bar top in restaurant needs replacement. The restaurant needs to add an Indian sampler meal option for novices to explore flavors.

The little hidden coffee bar, the breakfast bar was decent, waffles on weekends only though, staff was pleasant and guests all seemed happy. Had a pool too indoor! There's always an amazing smell coming from the authentic Indian restaurant right there at the hotel!!

TV remote stopped working and phone didn't work, both not a huge deal breaker for us.

I'm not sure if it was because the snow being on the roof but the exhaust fan in the bathroom was leaking water when I turned it on I did notice it looked dirty the vent on it so maybe that's why? Also the heater was making a strange noise so my boyfriend noticed the filter was dirty so he cleaned it and it was working much better after that

We have been staying there for about 15 years. Rooms have always been very good. Breakfast is good, adequate, though we have some favorite places that we go for that purpose. . Pool looks very nice but we stay there to go to regional beaches, have had good luck with weather so we have not yet used it.

I can't think of anything that has not worked out well.

***** please read**** Don't let these other reviews stop you from staying. This is our second time here and we love it. For the price you really can not complain. check in was a breeze and informative ( there is a deposit required if you pay cash) a Indian restaurant next door with a lounge and management said if you show your key card you get a discount (we did not try) the hotel does need makeover but again what do you expect for the price I only smelled the smell of cigarettes once room nice and clean smelled fine we had room 120 (we had the king size bed) comes with microwave small coffee maker ice bucket iron and board mini fridge and one chair plenty of space for storage a desk plenty of outlets in the room including USB ports. Pool hours are 1pm - 930/10pm (the pool should be open early) the pool is on the bottom level the pool is 4ft deep the pool water is ok once you get in but definitely not heated but not freezing if that makes sense also the pool has two sliding doors on each side of the pool for relaxing outside in the summer time the jacuzzi is not working and because it was our second time coming (it wasn't working the first time either) we asked and was told there will be no more jacuzzi. There is breakfast in the bottom floor same floor as the pool they have cereal, breakfast pastries, bread (bagels English muffins and wheat and white bread), fruits, coffee juice and there was eggs and sausage. There is a Walmart across the street from the hotel along with a five guys burger place Foxwoods is 20 mins away along with other things in the area My wife and I have came here twice so far and it's really not bad if your just looking to get away from the for the weekend and get out of the city in our cause our state which is Massachusetts

it was comfortable but rooms were small, and the spa bath wasn't what I thought it was supposed to be I had a regular room instead it looked like to me. the pool i thought was a little bigger, but it wasn't okay. but it was good enough if your not looking for a real swim the hot tub was nice though right temperature, but everyone was in it so couldn't' really enjoy the relaxation of it otherwise it was good

in the hallaway it had like an odor but it was okay meaning it was bareable

Great value and great location. It’s very convenient to drive East and west to see more of New England. It was an hour or so drive from Bristol CT, Hartford CT, and Newport RI. Very close to Mystic and the Seaport Museum.

The staff were kind and professional. Made you feel very welcome and answered all of our questions completely. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool looked nice and breakfast was great!! Definitely would stay here again!!
