Everything about Hotel Havana was great. Location is perfect for easy walking to anything in Mainz. Despite being located on the main road, with the double glazed windows closed there was no traffic noise. A portable Air Conditioner and fan were provided. Windows open on old church side provided plenty of fresh air. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, with an offer to use the washing machine as we checked in. Rooms were serviced and fresh towels provided each day. 3x great Restaurants located outside the front door.

The hotel is opposite the congress center at foot distance form the city center. The train station is about 20 minutes away. Check in/out was easy and the room was quiet despite looking at the main street.

The room is very spacious, and I'm very satisfied with the facilities. The owner from Azerbaijan contacted me in advance to check when I would be arriving at the hotel, which shows great responsibility.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the amenities. Photos can often be misleading, but my room lived up to the photos. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit. The property is also centrally located, so I could get wherever I needed to go by foot.

Very pleasant stay, our second time here. Nice big rooms or mini flat, very clean and quiet even though it is right next to big road. Perfect location for center of town and two great restaurant literally in the same building. Also great value for money and very nice manager.

Very good easy location for walking to old town and various sites. Bathroom was modern and bed was comfortable. This is more of a boarding house than a hotel. My room had a balcony.

It could have been a tad cleaner, since I found whisker trimmings in the sink and some stains on the bedding. it was a little confusing about where to check in, but the host was very nice. Location is on a busy street so there is lots of traffic noise if you need to keep the windows open.

I think the entrance door should have better signage. It was raining when I arrived, and I had to circle the building and call in order to be let in. I recommend putting curtains in the window by the bathroom for privacy

Simple but adequate accommodation within walking distance of the Dom, the Gutenberg Museum and other sights in the inner city of Mainz. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

The property is more like a number of private apartments. It was very clean, private. We arrived during a heatwave and while the was no air conditioning, they had opened the windows and brought in two fans to help cool it down. the location is excellent, by the Fischtor Turm and a block from the Dom.

There was quite a bit of noise from the street during the night and we had to have the windows open because of the heat.

I really liked the ambience of the room. It was super clean with good heating system. Plus location is very accessible to visit museum, Christmas market etc.
