Great hotel for the price. Good location, just off Soi Thonglor; an upscale suburban thoroughfare / neighbourhood. Good restaurants / facilities / shops / international supermarket nearby and access to BTS aided by hotel shuttle. Excellent room facilities and great rooftop pool / gym. Good to have the cooking / washing machine facilities in the room. Staff were excellent. Seemingly nothing too much trouble. Reception staff are Filippino (unusual in Thailand) which is a bonus for those reliant on English. No breakfast option and no real restaurant on-site (though there is a Japanese noodle bar concession on the ground floor). But not a problem, as plenty of eateries nearby, including many Japanese, some Thai and even a McDonalds (just in case!). We stayed a month. Very comfortable - home from home. Will come back!

Maybe some shade by the pool. And only 4 seats, there, but it's seldom busy. Lovely spot for late afternoon relaxing, too.

Good value for money. We had a very comfortable stay. There's a fridge, washing machin, huge wardrobe, microwave in the room. Very convenient. The room was big enough for us. There was housekeeping and free 2 bottles of water daily. Bathroom was modern and spacious. The staffs are nice, polite and helpful.

There's a washing machin but no dryer. You have to hang clothes on the rack after washing. The location is far from the sky train but there's a shuttle car service. (But not on holiday. And not after 19:00) After 19:00, you can only get to the hotel by taxi or 20 minutes walk from the skytrain.

Modern and comfortable feel. The bed was so comfy, and the extra couch, kitchenette, and laundry were an extra excellent addition. I loved the upscale feel, the pool was so pretty, and the wonderful bathroom (hot shower, good water pressure, and a tub). It was a great value for the money and the staff were very helpful. They allowed us to arrange a late check out for a fee.

It's not a big inconvenience, but it is quite a walk from the BTS station, and there's not a lot of street food or casual late night options for food or drink. This is an upscale neighborhood near tons of great upscale cocktail bars and sushi places, which is really fabulous if you want that kind of vibe. I will say, though, you can have the hotel arrange a free shuttle to the nearest Thong Lo BTS station. Just downloaded and set up the "Line" app in advance, or it may be hard to arrange the rides.

Probably one of the few places where my husband and I have not a single complaint about and will want to stay in again. The service was perfect and the room was wonderful. I loved everything about this hotel. My husband and I enjoy standing on the terrace and take in the outside sunshine. We also love that they had a washer and dryer in the room, which made it so convenient for us to wash our clothes, especially with the heat that made our clothes sweaty. The hotel was also closed by a few restaurants so on our lazy nights we didn't need to venture too far and can try different food each night.

The only thing that I may have a bit issue with is that the bathtub is a bit on the high side, so someone with short legs like mine may have issues going in and out. It may be helpful if there was a step stool or a hand rail to assist when getting out of the bathtub. I was too scared to hold the glass wall, so I always took my time getting in and out. Overall, this is not a big deterrent though. We still loved the room and would stay again.

Chose the hotel due to great location in the middle of Thonglor, and modern rooms. Japanese restaurants nearby for dinner, and a lovely breakfast cafe around the corner. Also short walk to The Commons. Big, comfortable bed, great sleep after a long flight. Love the big bath. Japanese style toilet. Cute rooftop pool. If staying longer the washing machine and fridge/kitchenette would be useful. Friendly staff at reception (open 24hrs). Thanks to the concierge/porter for carrying my suitcase down to the street level at check out. Approx 15-20 minute walk to Thonglor BTS station (hotel has a shuttle service to the BTS). Convenient to Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital (450m), Namarak Hospital (1.8km), Bangkok Hospital (2.5km). Small carpark available, if you are coming in your own car (must pre-book).

Stairs could be a problem for older travellers or if you have some mobility concerns. About 15 steps from the road to the hotel lobby, but there is an option to walk down the ramp to the carpark/basement then only 2 steps to the lift. The bath tub is quite big in the Deluxe Studio (it's lovely), but consider option to book the Executive Suite if you prefer a walk-in shower. Also, approx 10 steps up to the rooftop pool (also lovely). Room 708 - the door only opens 3/4 of the way due to a door stopper, I guess because the room is beside the lift and they don't want the door to damage the wall behind it. Didn't ask about other rooms.

The room is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of storage room, a small kitchen and a washing mashine. The bed is comfortable, and you can adjust lights in the room to your preference. Will absolutely book it again when I need to visit bangkok.

The area itself is nice, with many restaurants around, and not so very busy. It is about 20 min walking distance to the metro station, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you are planning to travel by metro. And there are traffic jams during the rush hours to get to the hotel.

It was a great room. I wanted a quiet hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean. There was a balcony. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge, microwave, water kettle. There was also a washing machine but I didn't use it. The hotel provided pool towels so you didn't even need to request them.

I liked everything but sometimes it was tricky figuring out which light switch connected with which lights. (very minor problem - not a problem actually)

I stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. All rooms have been clean, modern and comfortable. Rooms are of a decent size and it is great to have a washing machine, microwave etc. Staff are polite and friendly. I paid a small fee to leave a suitcase in storage in between travelling to other places in Thailand. Always enjoyed going back to my nice clean room after my travels! Hotel is nice and quiet and even though some rooms are facing a busy street the soundproofing is decent. The hotel is near Samitivej hospital, has a number of restaurants near by but the location might not be ideal for everyone one. Hotel does provide free transport to the nearest BST during some hours.

There is nothing I didn’t like but do keep in mind the following…. Pool and gym nice and clean but very small, lots of the rooms have a shower in the bath so if you have problems with mobility check your room has a separate shower. No breakfast provided at the hotel. Towels could be updated.

Ashley Hotel provided a very pleasant stay. rooms were very clean, and all the expected amenities were readily available. The location was very convenient for my needs. My room was well-organised, contributing to a sense of space with a spacious balcony. In additon, hotel staff were attentive and overall the hotel provided excellent value for money. Would stay again.

But the rooms were nice and clean and all had a laundry machine. My friends had combined washer/dryer in one machine, but my room only had washer. Was very useful for us as we were there for a sports event and had laundry every night. Place seemed very new, everything was clean and working well. Happy with the stay there.

A bit far to the BTS stations, but the hotel did offer free transport at certain times. There's no breakfast at the hotel - we were aware of this when we booked so not a big deal, we found McDonalds and a cafe/bakery that opened early, just a few minutes walk away, so no problem.
