Staff are exceptional, the gym is good, it’s a really great hotel. It’s one of favourite places to stay in bangkok. Maybe even in Thailand.

Honestly this hotel is fantastic. However one thing was different this time. Some guests smoked weed in the outside bit and you could smell it everywhere. I think the hotel should have a no smoking on the premises / in front of the premises policy. It felt really premium the first time I stayed. This was the only thing holding it back this time. Everything else was 10/10. I don’t want to smell cigarettes / weed if we’re staying in a premium place. Other than that only a couple minor complaints tbh. The bathroom could do we a revamp in the room I stayed in this time. But it was still nice. Food in hotel is good but pretty pricey.

Beautiful colonial hotel with a small roftop pool and game room. Best was probabily the free bottles of water everyday and the super cold fridge! I love the toiletries offered. Many of the staff speak Mandarin! The breakfast was sufficient overall the decor is what makes it special.

The aircon air could not be switch down/ even the lowest was too strong and blew right over the bed. I woke up with a headache. There was no way to adjust the vent to avoid the blasting air directly over my head at night. I asked the hotel to tape a piece of paper over the side of the vent across the pillow, but the paper was too short to cover the area. Subsequently I had to wrap a towel over my hair the second night.

A small beautifully decorated Hotel. Cute wall paintings everywhere, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet was delicious in the ground floor with natural light and cosy. I love the concept of the hotel, a mixture of natural modern design and homy. A great escape from big hotels. Good location, 5 minutes from BTS train station. Receptionist and coworkers always nice and willing to help.

The swimming pool closes at 20:00, could be opened until later to enjoy de views at night. Gym is small.

My stay at Salil Sukhumvit 57 has been nothing short of spectacular. I have travelled to Thailand for the first time. In fact this is my first ever solo international travel and the team at Salil have made me feel very welcome and relaxed. A very special shout out to Tom and Peter who have gone out of his way to connect with me, help me and get to know me while I've been staying here. My first night he helped navigate around taxis, waiting with me until they arrived chatting and getting to know each other. Such kind souls and friendly chaps. Thank you very much!! 🙏🏾 Other things to note. Location is excellent, close to thong lo BTS (5 mins walk) and a 7-11 literally down the road (2 mins walk) Located just off Sukhumvit road, it's fairly easy to get in and out of major areas, barring the crazy Bangkok traffic of course!

Lovely Parisian boutique hotel tucked away in a side street of Sukhumvit in Thong Lor! Close to BSK and restaurants and all you need. Very friendly staff and nice comfortable romantic rooms! Definitely recommend going there and we will book again when staying in Bangkok!

Beds are a little sensitive, and in our room when we took a shower the whole bathroom became wet.

We loved our stay at The Salil! All staff were extremely friendly. In particular, Torn, the concierge was warm, incredibly helpful with information pertaining to hotel services as well as location & transportation to various places. Bozz & Khaud at the front desk were also always very helpful. The Salil is exquisitely designed on a quiet street right off Sukhumvit; only a block to the train & close to many restaurants & shops. The rooms at the Salil are very clean and tastefully furnished with mini kitchens and very comfortable beds. A much enjoyed feature was the outdoor eighth floor rooftop pool which wasn’t busy and was very refreshing with a great view of the city. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others!

We liked everything about it!

Location, welcoming touches like popcorn and cold towels, rooftop pool.

We booked a room for 3, however, the sofa bed was not set up when we first got to the room (at 2pm). We were assured housekeeping would set this up. It was not set up at 7pm so we phoned down to reception who assured us it would be done. When we returned from dinner around half 9 it had still not been set up so we had to ask again, when finally someone from housekeeping came with us back to the room.

This hotel was amazing everything so clean, and decorated beautifully. They leave pyjamas for you to use in the room, and the rooftop pool is perfect. All the staff were incredible! We had just flown in from Chiang Mai, it was late at night and I mistakenly left my jacket in our grab - the staff tracked him down in minutes for me to get it back!! The best service

Nothing everything was perfect

A pretty and picturesque hotel. The check in was great with welcome drinks, popcorn and a valentines chocolate offered. The cafe at the hotel is excellent. We left on an early morning tour during our stay and the staff arranged a delicious breakfast box of sandwiches with the crusts cut off, sliced apples, a salad and juice. They also allowed ua to use their pool towels for the tour. We really appreciated these personal touches. The hotel offers a traditional Thai dress experience free of charge and May was fantastic in helping us get dressed and take photos around the property making it a very memorable and special experience.

The walls are thin and unfortunately we had a crying baby next to us at midnight on both nights. The mattress need replacing as it was a bit hard and springy. The room could do with a thorough cleaning. The bathroom blinds separating the room and bathroom is full of mould. Perhaps better to have the blind in the bedroom instead of the shower.
