+ The hotel is well-located, about 5mins walk from BTS Thong Lo. The sidewalk to the hotel is also paved (which is not always the case for some of the Sukhumvit smaller lanes or sois). It felt safe to walk back at night, surrounded by private apartments and some businesses. + The staff members were all very service-minded. + Volve has a pleasing cafe aesthetic. It houses the cafe Herringbone which seems to be a popular brunch spot. + The room was comfortable and came with some welcome snacks. Bottled water was replenished daily. + The housekeeping was consistently good and everything looked fresh when I returned to my room after a day out. + My room rate included breakfast which was served at the basement dining room. I had breakfast at different times and it never felt crowded. You get to choose just one hot main from a standard list (along with a small buffet of bread, salad etc) but beverages were unlimited and made to order. The food was of regular cafe quality but the beverages were outstanding.

- The wardrobe came with attached hangers, which meant the clothes hangers' handles were not removable from the hanging rod. I found that to be not very user-friendly. When I gave the feedback to staff when I checked out, the staff informed me that regular hangers could be provided on request. If that was made clear with a note at the wardrobe, I would have asked for some hangers. - Taking a damage deposit is a common practice but it is usually done by card. The hotel asked for 2000 baht deposit in cash. As this was not the last hotel I am staying in Thailand for the trip, I just gave the cash deposit. But those who are staying only here or staying here as the last hotel before leaving Thailand might not want to have so much Thai baht left at the end.

Superb staff that did everything possible to make our stay an 11 out of 10. The location is also perfect for many small restaurants and Thonglor station on Shukhumvit

There is nothing negative to report. We have been to dozens of hotels on or near Shukhumvit over 35 years, and many have let us down. None have got 11 out of 10

Perfect clean room. Fitted room space with every essential equipments. Located very near a BTS station also features many high quality restaurant and bar. Also, the breakfast and restaurant in hotel is overof these best choices. This is the most satisfied experience from over 6 times of visiting Bangkok.

We had a lovely stay here this February. It was the perfect base to explore the city of Bangkok. The area is super cool, with a lot of coffee shops, restaurants as well as the metro station just minutes away. The staff and hospitality is exception. Everyone, from the front desk to the people serving breakfast and housekeeping were amazing. They left a personalised welcome note, which was a great touch, plus free snacks and drinks, which they replenished. Truly, made our stay here feel like home away from home. The rooms are extremely clean, and housekeeping came everyday. So we would come back from our daily exploring to fresh linens, and a clean, cosy room. Breakfast consisted of a variety of options for main dish, but you can have as much fruits, bread, juice etc. as you want, plus great coffee. Make sure you visit the terrace of the hotel. There’s a gorgeous little garden up there, and a really chill spot to enjoy the views around. We would go up there for a bit every morning after breakfast, before the sun got stronger. I will definitely book Volve again when we come back to Bangkok.

Great location, right by the sky train and easy to walk around, plus not super far from Suvarnabhumi airport too. Very helpful staff. Room was clean and comfy, although pretty small. Bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was nice and shower had good water pressure. They offered bottled water and snacks, which was very nice. Had a small fridge and a hair dryer and slippers in the room.

I had a couple of issues with the detachable showerhead not staying in place when I was showering, and one time it sprayed water over the door and got the floor all wet, but not really a big deal. There was also a rainfall showerhead as an alternative, which I maybe should have just used instead.

Breakfast, room service, attitude - I am birthday within the trip, they offer a free birthday cake to me during breakfast which is a surprise for me, and also greetings and little setup in my room when I am back from trip, I am so impressed with that. - They got a really nice welcome drink when I arrived, staff are with really nice attitude - Package is being with free semi-buffet breakfast, the food is really delicious and the coffee is really nice too - 5-8 min walk from BTS, which is acceptable range - Though it is not a well-known hotel, but being as a boutique hotel with acceptable price range, it is totally worth

The whole stay felt very thoughtful - staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived to the moment I left and I felt like a valued guest rather than a room number. The room was very comfortable, with nice touches like a tastefully selected complimentary minibar and a map of the hotel's recommendations in the surrounding Thong Lor / Ekkamai neighbourhoods. Breakfast was brilliant, being a mix of buffet items with "mains" / eggs and hot drinks available a la carte. There were lots of interesting food spots and bars nearby and a skytrain station only a few minutes' walk away. A great, well-connected base for exploring Bangkok - I'd definitely stay here again on a return visit.

One very small thing was that the air conditioning in the room was set on a timer and would turn off part-way through the night. That meant I would occasionally wake up feeling hot or disturbed by (occasional) traffic noise, but you could always turn it back on so it wasn't a huge inconvenience.

Staff was very warm and helpful. They served Thai iced tea while completing our check in. It was a life saver and made our day after a 13-hour-flight and another 1 hour taxi ride through the Bangkok traffic jam. The hotel is very well located. There are several good restaurants and cafes around. Walking distance to some of major shopping malls. Very close to the train which can take you to other main attractions. Water and snacks in our room were renewed every day. I’m not sure if this applies to all room types but it was a huge plus for us. We didn’t have chance to try but the restaurant and cafe looked really nice.

Such an aesthetically pleasing hotel, has cool interior and a nice vibe. Always welcomed with a smile by the staff and we were given complimentary drinks on arrival. Map of the area and recommendations of places to eat is in the room which is helpful if you need it as BKK can be overwhelming, especially for a first timer! Location is PRIME. So close to BTS Thong Lo and food is basically all around. Room was just enough space for 2, bathroom is clean and fresh towels were always provided. There’s a cafe downstairs which is also the place to eat when you add breakfast. You can also get baked goods which is connected to the reception. Honestly Volvo is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Very comfortable!

Nothing to fault :)

This hotel is in a great location near Thong Lo road, not too far from BKK. We stayed in a clean and spacious room, had generous and tasty prepared breakfasts every morning, were always greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed going out to delicious restaurants which were all close by. Lots of attention and care was paid to the design of the hotel and restaurant which made for a truly enjoyable experience. But my absolute favourite part was the beautiful rooftop garden that was meticulously cared for with many plants labelled and chairs where you can sit and watch the sunset. It was beautiful!
