This review applies to our second 5-day stay at Adelphi49, chosen because our friends who reside just down the street recommended it. We reserved a 1-bedroom unit, of which there are only 2 on each floor, located on either side of the elevator. We could hear street traffic noise from our first room, so for this stay, we switched to a room on the other side of the elevator, and it was much quieter. Also, this room was much more light as there is an opening between the adjacent buildings. We very much enjoyed the roof-top pool this time.

None of the 1-bedroom units have the view over the garden next door, but no one explained that in reply to my request for a garden-view room. They just said it couldn't be guaranteed. Lazy response. On our 2nd visit, we accidentally left the electronic "clean room" indicator in the wrong setting, so they didn't clean our room or leave water. When we asked for water, the clerk refused. This is especially ungracious in a country where you cannot drink the tap water, and must go to a convenience store to get some. These were the only problems we encountered.

Complimentary Airport Pick-up service. Good eco-friendly incentives - for every day we don't require making up the room, they would reward with a complimentary cup of drink. The location is a good five-minute walk (two-minute by car) to the nearest train (BTS) station, Thong Lo. Room had a washing machine which I could wash & dry my clothes without leaving my room.

My room was facing someone else's backyard. Would have preferred the side facing away from someone's house. Room service menu was only accessible by using the Line app, which I didn't have, so I had to go down to the restaurant to order - and then have them delivered to the room. The washing machine seemed to be leaking. Everytime I washed my clothes, I'd have to dry up the floor with the floor towel from the towel. But minor inconveniences aside, I think it was a pretty decent stay. The experience was more like a mini service apartment than a suite.

My first room did not quite meet my expectations according to my request, but after requesting a different room I was given a room that was exactly what I wanted. The balcony and view was exactly what I needed for a pleasant stay. Mr. Joe from the staff was extremely helpful during the stay and helped make my stay a great one. -The bathroom with the Japanese toilet was very spacious and nice.

-I was interested in extending my stay for a few days, but this was unfortunately not as simple as just requesting it from the reception, but I would have had to do it online through some booking site instead. So I ended up going somewhere else. Had it been as hassle-free as just extending the stay by requesting it at the hotel, I would probably have stayed for many more days.

Spacious and very comfortable room with a balcony. Copius amounts of storage for a longer stay. I love their focus on sustanability and offering you a complimentary beverage if you forgo a room cleaning for a day and only change sheets and towels if requested. Additionally, the staff were absolutely brilliant. From every concierge and room attendant, to the baristas and the gentlemen outside helping with assisiting grab taxis and bikes. However, a special shout out to Kardy on front desk for helping us with reservations :)

Better coffee and tea options in the room would be great. Otherwise than that, everything was wonderful.

Nice hotel with beautiful swimpool view. Big and nice apartments, good located hotel - close to center but located around quiet area (compared to others in Bangkok). Nice place if you plan to visit Bangkok, good access to BTS.

This 4 star hotel should be a 5! Located in an exclusive area comparable to Los Angeles Beverly Hills, the neighborhood is quiet unlike the big hotels in the Siam area. The clothes washer/dryer, microwave, stove, pots, pans, cutlery, cups and even wine glasses in the kitchenette are the icing on the cake. Housekeepers were very thorough that the tip I left for them each day was well worth it. Checking in with the front desk staffs’ smiling faces & impeccable English and courteous interaction was a breeze. The divided floor layout gives privacy to 2 guests who want to either stay apart in the living room or rest on the comfortable bed After a long tiring day. And the bathroom! OMG! I could spend hours taking my showers there. The toilet makes you feel so refreshed after doing your job. The security guard was always smiling and helpful when we needed a grab or taxi. I’d give this an 11 rating if ever there’s more than 10. Oh, there are many good Japanese & Thai restaurants , 7-11 within walking distance. I’d certainly recommend Adelphi 49 in a heartbeat to anyone.

Beautiful one bed suite, exceptionally friendly staff and a fab breakfast buffet. The rooftop pool was an added bonus. This hotel is also in a great location.

There could have been a few more vegetarian options at breakfast!

We got for ourselves a One-Bedroom Suite with breakfast at Adelphi Forty-Nine, near Playscape 49 (dog park). A nice location at Thong Lo. The staff were polite and well-trained. The breakfast was great! There were an induction hob, a washer/dryer, a microwave, two TVs (one in the hall and one in the bedroom), a rain shower and a bathtub in the apartment. Wifi was great. One could request online for additional amenities via the link provided by the hotel.

We would love to stay at a higher floor.

It was in a quiet street (soi 49) not too far from centre. All the facilities of a self contained apartment. Friendly helpful staff. Pool was refreshing. Salty rather than chemical.

I thought the description matched the reality so was happy.

Between 2022 and 2023, I have stayed in Adelphi 49 close to 10 times for both work and leisure in Bangkok. During all of my stays in the past 1 year, I’ve been well taken care by front desk staff Yui and Joe. They are the reason why I always return to Adelphi 49 and I have not stayed in another hotel in Bangkok since. The housekeeping staff in Adelphi 49 are also very lovely and hardworking, making sure that my rooms are always well cleaned and smelling good. Rooms are massive and well furnished with modern taste. One TV in the living room and one TV in the bedroom. The living room has a 3-seater couch, desk & chair, and also a dining area. Kitchen area is also well equipped with everything I need including washing machine, fridge, stove, microwave, and lots of clean shiny utensils. The bathroom is also HUGE and comes with a rain shower, and even a bathtub. The toilet seat has built-in bidets with multiple functions. The spacious bedroom also has a vanity area. Overall, there are also lots of storage space. This is truly a hidden gem in Phrom Phong / Thong Lo area. For its price, the value is unbeatable compared to other hotels that charge double but can’t even deliver half of what Adelphi 49 offers in their room. In addition to the excellent rooms, front desk staff Yui and Joe always go the extra mile to help me e.g. arranging transport to other parts of Thailand like Pattaya and they always remember my preferences for specific rooms. It’s their warm service that always make me feel welcomed in Adelphi 49, and every time I see them I feel like I’m seeing my old friends again. I’ve travelled the world extensively but I’ve never experienced such wonderful hospitality in any accommodation, except Adelphi 49. Thank you P’Yui and P’Joe for always making my stay memorable and comfortable, and also the hardworking housekeeping that I’ve never got to thank. I will always look forward to my stay here.
