This is a small, single story property on route 66. Located on the edge of downtown Williams, it is walking distance to many restaurants, shops and attractions. The rooms have exterior doors with parking in front of them. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. It had a queen bed with a blanket, spread and three full pillows. In addition, the room had a desk and chair, microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker. There were a fair amount of electrical outlets. The sink was located outside the bathroom and soap, shampoo and lotion were provided.

The Wi-Fi was slow.

Have stayed in Williams at the Highlander Motel many times. Staff is friendly, room is clean, coffeemaker/fridge/microwave, location is great, price is right for a little nostalgic motel on Route 66.

The cost was what we were looking for, and it was right by a grocery store, so that made it nice for buying snacks, meals, etc

The room has a bad odor when we arrived, but we opened the windows to see if it would dissapate. It didn't so we bought a bunch of air fresheners and air sanitizer. That finally worked, and when we told the host about the issue he was extremely responsive and called a service person right away. Found out it was likely the sink smelling a bit funky

The property was well located. I was able to walk to all the places that interested myself and my friend. The staff was very accommodating, and helpful. The room was very clean, and had plenty of outlets for all of our appliances. The water in the shower was plenty hot with no waiting for it to warm up. The room had a nice refrigerator and microwave. I am not much of a coffee drinker but the staff asked me if I had enough coffee for the coffee maker, so if you are a coffee drinker you will enjoy that. The TV had a very nice picture and plenty of channel choices including premium channels.

As it was an older hotel the rooms were small, but that is to be expected of an older unit. Nevertheless, it was quite quaint and clean. The parking lot was also small but this is a smaller hotel.

The small 12 room motel is located on Route 66 and restaurants were within walking distance. The room was recently update and clean, beds a little firmer than my liking but it was very quiet. The owner was accommodating and friendly. The towels were folded in a very cute design the bed. There was a 18% tax that you did not know until check out on booking.com, so the room ended up being more than $20 over what was stated on website

The pillows were hard and the air conditioning blows on the bed, could not adjust the levers.

The location was perfect. It was only an hour away from The Grand Canyon, everything you needed was less than 400m walk (supermarket, diners to eat, petrol station). The main Man at the front was so accommodating and was able to give extra pillows upon request. He was very helpful to know where to go and what to do. The room was super clean and had all the amenities needed (towels, shower and bathroom etc). Unless you’re a “Karen” it was an amazing stay. Tip: if you need anything just ask, don’t just assume they know what you like. He will do his very best to provide anything you need ☺️

Highlander Motel is ideally located for exploring the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is also central to Williams on the iconic Route 66. My room was fine. The WiFi was good and there were electric points by the bed. Parking outside my room was good. There is an excellent heater to warm the room for just a few minutes when it drops cool in the evening. The price was very reasonable.

A light switch reachable from the bed would have been nice. The microwave cooked fine but the turntable doesn't revolve. Apart from that, all was very good.

The Highlander is located directly off Route 66, with plenty of shops, restaurants, supermarket etc within close walking distance. The owner is very personable, friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome. They really do care about the motel, and you can tell. The room we stayed in was immaculately clean and comfortable. I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’d highly recommend the Highlander. It’s excellent value for money.

I loved everything about the motel!

This commendable motel, strategically situated in downtown Williams along the historic Route 66. Numerous dining establishments and coffee shops can be conveniently accessed within a 5 to 10-minute walk. Additionally, a Safeway grocery store is in close proximity, just a 2-minute walk away. The owner's exceptional level of assistance and support greatly contributed to our enjoyable stay.

The Wi-Fi service at this property is notably slow and often struggles to provide reliable connectivity. It is recommended that the management addresses this issue promptly to enhance the overall experience for guests. Apart from this concern, we do not have any significant complaints regarding this property.

I was looking for a centrally located, affordable, clean, and somewhat nostalgic motel in Williams for a one-night stay as I traveled Historic Route 66. The Highlander Motel checked all the boxes for me. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small (typical for this vintage motel) and clean. The rooms offer WiFi, DirecTV, a small refrigerator, microwave oven, and a coffee maker. The ownership stresses a non-smoking environment with a designated smoking area located in the parking lot. As an FYI, while not pertinent to me, this is not a pet friendly motel.

My only complaint has to do with the rock-hard pillows — the bed was comfortable but not the pillows.
