The staff was very helpful and the location was amazing. Centrally located in the city and walkable to a nearby campground where we had some family staying, so it was easy to visit without driving. Very clean rooms, with everything we needed.

Not something we disliked, but to ensure expectations are managed. The owners do a nice job of explaining it's a boutique hotel they've done a nice job restoring, but with that comes certain aspects such as small, limited space parking. Street parking is also available. Rooms are limited and relatively small compared to other mainstream hotels. As it's family owned, the front desk is not staffed 24/7 but we found them to be responsive when we checked in after hours.

I loved the 2 bedroom suite. It was beautifully furnished and decorated. Very spacious- a perfect set up for friends or families with kids. Also - I liked that there was no tv in the room. Great wi fi so bring your iPad. This hotel is an excellent option for people who are going to ride the train into the Grand Canyon. It’s less than a half mile to the train depot

The bathroom needs improvement. While the shower was perfect, the faucet fixtures are broken (functional but broken) and the toilet seat couldn’t be noisier. The door handle was completely broken, replaced by a slide lock. Not good, especially as I was traveling with a friend not a spouse Wasn’t a fan of the communal fridges but it did leave more space in the room.

The quaintness and preservation of the historic history of the hotel. The front room, desk staff, and sitting rooms, were all fabulous. The sleeping room was very nicely decorated.

The breakfast could be better. The quality of the food was very good, but I'd like to see more than a continental breakfast. It's such a nice room and facility that it warrants more. We got the two-bdrm suite, but it's apparently just two rooms adjoined. I'd expected an actual suite, with a sitting area. There was room for a chair in each room, but there was none.

This was a small hotel in Williams on Route 66 furnished in a traditional staging post way. The room was large enough with an extremely comfortable bed. As we were travelling as a family we had two interconnecting rooms that worked really well. There was air conditioning and a fan that kept us cool. The lobby and library are inviting, especially when we arrived as it was raining and dark. The whole look and feel was welcoming. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We liked this property very much.

What a vibe! This place is downright gorgeous inside and will make you feel like you've stepped a hundred years back in time. They've obviously maintained it well and updated the decor enough wherever needed but they've done so without killing the old charm. At check-in, I was greeted by two of the friendliest hostesses ever, who were all too happy to tell me the history of the place, the town, and give me endless tips on where to go within walking distance for the best margarita, the best Mexican food, the best breakfast, where to check out the haunted history/lore of the town, etc. My room, while small, was squeaky clean, well appointed with amenities like towels and make up removal cloths etc., and matched the quality of decor and charm of the rest of the hotel. Highly recommend staying here.

It's a beautiful hotel, walk distance from lots of great restaurants in town and places like a zipline and the poo museum. Short drive to the coaster (100% recommend) and from Bearizona (amazing animals drive thru sanctuary with delicious food). The room doesn't have a mini fridge but there's an ice room right in the hall where you can grab ice and use one of the fridges in there. There's free coffee in the reception too, very nice and helpful people. The shower is amazing.

Parking can be hard to find since the city has a lot of tourists. We did find a spot in the hotel's parking late at night though. But even though it was busy, you can still find parking in the streets.

I loved the location (on historic Route 66), the cozy and opulent atmosphere, the decor with the gilded mirrors and frames on the walls, the beautiful carpets, crystal lamps and interior plants. We stayed in Room 15 which was spacious and clean with large comfortable beds and pillows. This is a gem of a hotel. It truly transported me back in time.I constantly found myself admiring this beautiful buulding which is a piece of US history. For me everything was picture perfect. I wish we had had more time in Williams, so I could spend a few more days/nights at this hotel. If you love historic boutique hotels, you will adore The Historic Grand Canyon Hotel.

This is such a cute hotel. It has been remodeled and it is beautiful. I love the history of the hotel. It is centrally located and we could walk everywhere. The people at the hotel are amazing. They are so friendly and we actually had a nice visit with the staff and with their family members. It was so amazing and a must stay if you are going to Williams.

The problem is with booking.com and not with the hotel directly. They actually have a room with a bathtub. But it is located behind the hotel and not actually part of the hotel. On booking.com it does not give yo that information. I highly suggest to go directly to their website to book the rooms. Because each room is individually setup.

We were a family of four children ages 5-15 and four adults. Everyone loved staying in a vintage hotel. The description and pictures described the hotel perfectly so there were no surprises. Seeing the actual wood work and facilities is still better than a picture. The location is great with several restaurants and shops next door to the hotel. The breakfast isn't just basic, the sconces and pasteries were local and the fruit was fresh. Our rooms overlooked the main street. The noise was minimal and we never lost any sleep. If you are going to Bearizona or the Canyon Coaster, it is a short drive from the hotel.

We stayed here after going to see the grand canyon about an hour away. This hotel was adorable, it it’s a small charming hotel. They did a great job remodeling the hotel while keeping its historic charm. Our room was very cute and overlooked the christmas tree in the town. We loved the decor, the lack of a tv in the room, and the victorian library in the lobby. The hotel is in an excellent location right on route 66 and across from a couple restaurants. Would recommend to our friends and would stay here again!

Now the only problem, which was to be expected with an old hotel was the noise. They do provide you with ear plugs but we forgot. At night you could hear the people outside our room going to take pictures with the christmas tree, hooting and hollering but that ended around 12am. We like to sleep in and come like 8 am the rest of the hotel was getting up for their day, again it’s an old hotel and noise is expected so wear this ear plugs if you want to sleep in!
