This place is fabulous, because it is so typical as Route 66 motel. And the location within historic Williams is amazing. Yes, it is not your usual luxury hotel, rooms are small, but it is very clean, our shower had these tiles from the 50ties that you cant't find anymore, and you see and feel the effort that the kind owner does to keep the place running. Who cares that it does not have a coffee machine in the room - still they have a nice special room with chairs and a f&b machine - but with the incredible café across the street, this is where you want to go in the morning, anyways. It was all lovely and so much authentic - do not hesitate!

The location was perfect for this Classic Route 66 motor lodge. The managers were extremely helpful and kind. The room had all the conveniences we needed, except a coffee pot, lol. No worries, plenty of coffee available within walking distance. The premises were clean. It was obvious the managers had their hearts invested in their guests.

I like how it is close to the old town and you can just walk around the area to see different stores and restaurants. Overall its a great stay. Staff are very responsive and instructions for self check in and check out was very clear. Thank you for accommodating us.

Small bathroom.

Darling old-timey room, two rooms (bedroom and sitting room) plus bathroom, in the middle of town - everything was within walking distance. Managers were awesome.

No complaints. They could have some grassy area for dogs, but I think that is coming in the near future. that isn’t much of a concern for me, but not a lot bad can be said about Arizona 9.

This property is a nice little gem in Williams. Centrally located makes it easy to go anywhere. The rooms are updated and clean. The staff was impeccable. Five star service. We came in late due to weather and crashes and the staff was happy to meet us.

Room was clean and nice.The man at the front desk was polite and friendly. Very good location for riding the Grand Canyon train.

I missed having a coffee maker in the room but I survived. :) Most motel coffee is not great anyway.

I would have liked to have a fridge in my room. When I mentioned this to Rigoberto, he offered me another room and I decided to stay in the same room. He is awesome.

Larger toilet would be nice.

I like that I was notified of the key lock-box in case staff was unavailable at the time of my arrival making check-in a breeze. I also like that the room was really clean and cozy. I was very happy with my choice.

The motel is centrally located in the downtown shopping / tourist district! We walked to shops and restaurants sites. William is by far the best town on the historic Route 66 and the 9 Arizona Motor Hotel is the best located hotel in the town!

The pillows were hard
