WOW! Our stay at the DoubleTree was above and beyond any hotel I've booked. The staff knew we were coming to Missoula to take my son to see the Harlem Globetrotters for his 10th birthday, so they had a basketball, his favorite treat (Milk duds), and a thoughtful birthday note waiting in the room for us when we arrived. He was shocked and thrilled and got his ball signed by all the players at the show. THANK YOU to the kind and hardworking staff that made this the most special birthday he will remember forever! (PS: the rooms were beautiful, and the views stunning). We will be lifelong DoubleTree loyalists and can’t want to visit again.

Nicely refurbished 2-level motel-style building. Comfortable room with a usable balcony overlooking the pool. Next to the walking path along the river. Coffee available in the lobby was a nice bonus. The water was amazingly soft and my hair loved it.

The description promised a microwave, but this was only available in the lobby. The coffee maker was a double-cup model, which was nice, but it gave off a horrible plastic taste (luckily there was coffee in the lobby).

Large, comfortable room, high ceiling, balcony overlooking the river. Being able to open the sliding glass door for fresh air.

Our room was right by the patio seating for the restaurant, balcony wasn’t as private as I would’ve liked. Would’ve preferred not having to see diners feet away (and have them see me) or hear patio conversations while trying to relax on the balcony of my room. Not what I paid extra for.

This is the best doubletree I’ve ever stayed at! It’s absolutely beautiful and the restaurant is fabulous. The rooms are updated and very clean. Our balcony over the river was just perfect. The lobby is cozy with a modern fireplace. The whole structure has a mid century modern vibe. I loved the building. We will definitely be back.

Only that we couldn’t stay longer

The river view room was spectacular! The view of the hills and river were amazing and so relaxing to listen to the water go by. The room is massive, modern and well appointed. It’s a short drive to town but so worth it for the location and view. Staff were welcoming and as usual with Hilton we had warm cookies to welcome us. Also loved the Crabtree & Evelyn amenities 💕

I did like how quickly the staff brought me a band aid for my granddaughter. And their pleasantness.

I didn't like that I was told Breakfast was included/ I paid extra for it to be included and now I've been billed for it. And spoke with the front desk prior to this and to the restaurant on this but it was still charged to my cc with my room.

Property was a great location to the university for our needs while we were there, as well as the river access and they had a pool which was also great in the heat and restaurant on site was convenient.

We have stayed here many times. I love how you’re not inside a huge building and most (if not all) the rooms have a patio or balcony. It’s very pretty and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. We have no wish to stay anywhere else when we’re in Missoula.

It was a bit spendy when we stayed here in may.

The hotel is much better on the inside than outside. Rooms were clean and check in was easy. It was a nice stay but much more expensive than it should be. Not sure why is was so much other than maybe the location on river? One of our rooms overlooked the parking lot, above the place where staff smoke on break so that was disappointing. Our other room overlooked pool which was much better. The restaurant (which was not part of hotel) was good. Not awesome but very good. Staff was nice but kinda that “fake” nice and they seemed overworked and tired. Our girls enjoyed the outdoor pool!

Ease of check in, the hot cookies were a nice treat, they let us check in early and room was comfortable and very clean
