It was very cute and well renovated. The location to downtown was perfect! The beds were really comfortable and the room was quite large which was nice.

The floors had not been mopped. It was obvious. The room was clean except for that. There were almost no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and there was no mirror in the bedroom. The room needs more hooks and definitely needs a full length mirror! We also needed more toiletries and were given very little when we asked for more and therefore had to buy our own toilet paper to make up for the lack.

The bed was amazingly soft and the pillows were lovely. I slept really well. Only a portion of the motel is active as the rest of it is being renovated currently but even though people were compressed into one part of the motel, it must have really good sound insulation, either that or all the neighbors were just very quiet. I really liked it and plan to stop there on my way home.

The ice machine and laundry were in the portion of the building being renovated so those were not available. And the hot water was just a tiny bit not warm enough, but I appreciate the fact that it's a very energy and environmentally conscious Motel.

Staff reached out personally before I arrived to coordinate check in and were willing to stay late if I was delayed - luckily, they didn't need to! The bed and pillows were super comfortable and I loved the little stylish touches like a cute sitting chair, throw blanket with tassels, burnt-finish slats accent wall, and fun lighting. Location was very convenient to walk downtown or to campus with plenty of off street parking.

Wifi was available and worked fine for browsing, was a little slow for video calling - I wasn't counting on it, that was just what I happened to notice.

Great location. Walking distance to almost everything in town. Nicely and recently renovated. Bed was soo comfy! Manager was really helpful.

Since it was newly renovated, most of the debris from the construction was still in the room. floors and bathroom didn't seem clean enough. Had to ask for a blow dryer, but our room had not just one but two irons :). Had to ask for tv remote batteries because no batteries were put in the remote.

Enjoyed the retro feel of an old motel turned into a nice place. Friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance to great down town restaurants.

Could have had a second bedside stand instead of sharing one for two beds, certainly enough space in the spacious room. Maybe some teabags as an option to the provided coffee and condiments.

Loved the location, helpful staff, and cozy rooms. Bed was large and comfy, good sized bathroom, plenty of space to spread out. Didn't notice any renovation noise either. Room also had a nice coffee maker, bottle of water, ironing board, hair dryer. Shampoo/soap/conditioner weren't individual bottles but affixed to the wall in the shower and felt like good quality.

AC couldve been colder and the pillows a bit hard. But that was it!

For the price, the room was excellent! Water was hot, Keurig Coffee pot, microwave and fridge in room, Great location to grocery store, town and U Montana Campus.

Bed was kind of soft, and there were some unsavory characters staying in other rooms, but otherwise, great. I have a reservation to stay there again this summer!

The rooms have been remodeled and are really cute!! Very clean and no carpet are a must for me and this has both. The beds were extremely comfortable!!! So loved this place!! Don’t be deceived by the outside…. It’s a work in progress…. But the inside was perfect!!!

Parking could be tight if the hotel was full.

The accommodations, we got a call that our room didn't have hot water. Staff was friendly enough to get us separate rooms before check in. At the time of arrival, they we able to get the hot water fixed. We also liked the remodel of the rooms, super cute.

Maybe better wifi connection, overall everything was great.

Great rooms! Wonderful service... the hotel itself has an awesome 50's nostalgic vibe! We had the best time a great view, and the on-site parking was a major plus!! If you're looking for a great downtown Missoula spot to stay, I highly recommend the Bel Aire!! We will define be back. Thank you to the staff at The Bel Aire for a wonderful time!
