It is an excellent choice for travellers that wish to visit Ljubljana. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful in any questions we had about out trip. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded for free our booked room to an apartment which included a very convenient kitchen, just because we were staying for 5 nights. I must say that even the simple room was very spacious. Everything was perfect and when we will go back to Ljubljana definitely we will be happy to stay again in Vila Minka.

The apartment was really clean, like really, really clean and nice and it has everything you need for your stay. Owner is helpful, nice and polite.

Apartment we got was not shown or described in any of the photos. Everything was really nice, but it wasn't like shown on the photos. We booked one, but we got another. Also, it says we have sofa and coffee machine but we haven't got any of that. It is not a problem, everything was just great, but it is false advertising and it should be removed from room/apartment facilities. Also, it is a bit noisy. Even though separated from hallway with two doors, we heard voices, walking etc in quiet hours.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Vila Minka. It was clean and pleasant, beautiful, simple, tasteful and very peaceful. A lovely location in a residential area. A lovely breakfast with anything you could want. This is a family business, and Nina was amazing, not only professional, but warm, friendly, polite, and accommodating. The grocery Mercato was only a short walk away, and it was a short drive from Ljubljana city and the airport as well. This was my first real get-away for myself, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for peace and warmth. I can't wait to come back!

There was nothing about The Vila Minka that I could possibly complain about. There was nothing unpleasant or even slightly uncomfortable about it at all. It's the perfect place for people who want something tasteful, without being ostentatious or gaudy.

The property is situated about 4 km from the city center, which ensures quiet surroundings. We came to the hotel in an emergency situation and the host allowed us to stay in our room even after check-out hours. Also, the host was very easy-going and gave us many tips on how to get to the center and where to shop for groceries. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the kitchenette was well equipped (fridge, silverware, tupperware, kettle, stove). The room was airconditioned and even had a terrace with a view.

People: everyone was very kind and helpful, and receptionist were really nice to all the guests - you feel like at home. Interior. Actually, photos do not do it justice: it has unique and beautiful interior both in common areas and in rooms. It has a nice patio with fountain and a statue (and sofas, of course), dining room looks very nice. And rooms are designed the way so they give historical vibe. Surroundings. It is located in green area, so it’s not very hot. Supermarket nearby. Only 4km to city center.

The receptionist Nina was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Located in a quiet neighborhood outside the city but with a good bus line nearby. Great AC, comfortable bed, and excellent shower. Perfect place to stay if you don’t mind the easy commute by taxi ($7) or the bus ($1.30).

The only downside were the busses didn’t run very frequently so you needed to time that right or have Nina call a taxi for you.

Lovely place with a touch of luxury, the check in was very easy, Nina who greeted me is amazing, friendly and very helpful. The place is convenient for parking and easy to get to town by bus number 5. Or taxi. The room is spotless clean, nice bathroom and balcony. It felt comfortable and smelled fresh

I was hoping for tea/ coffee/ hot water kettle in the room, could be a good thing to have and make a hot drink in the morning

Everything was nice. The terrace balcony the 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Nikita room. The hospitality was nice. Full kitchen. Breakfast available. Wifi, tvs. Water pressure super. Nice air quality. Convenience store 50 steps away. Free parking safe. Nice reception. Nice family owner. Requests are accepted. 5 minute bus ride to centre 1.50 Euro. Thanks for roses !

There was no heating in the rooms. No extra blankets. Was a bit cold at night.

I was preparing breakfasts myself. Due to the well equipped kitchen annex in my room and well-supplied supermarket just 400 meters from the place it was very easy. The hotel is located in a quiet cosy villa quarter of Ljubljana. However, walking distance to the center is 40 mins and by bus it takes less than 10 mins. You only have to buy Urbana card which you can buy in the mentioned supermarket. You cannot pay cash in busses. So, despite it is not located in the center the location is very good. The hotel is very well suited for people who want to relax in a cosy place and still be able to socialize (not too heavily ;-) ) in the center. The managing lady is very helpfull and friendly. Room and the whole object was clean and comfortable.

Everything was extremely new and clean, welcoming and designed with good taste. Really elegant reception and inner courtyard. Great room, made me feel so cozy and welcomed after a long trip to Ljubljana. The bed was comfortable, I got excellent sleep. The owner was very nice and always offered to help with anything needed. This hotel is situated in a quiet mostly newly built area.
