We met three "staff", all members of the family. Mum, on the phone, could not have been more helpful. Her two sons, Juli and Augusto, gave us the best possible welcome on arrival and send-off on departure. Beyond courteous, they were warm and friendly, generous and creative in their responses to all questions, appearing genuinely glad to have us as guests. The breakfast spread was astonishing! For such a small hotel, a "garni", this was gargantuan: plenty of choice, hot dishes replenished, delicious breads and stuff to go on them, cereals, fruit salads, and more. Fabulous. Bathroom fine.

The lack of bedside lights was a minor irritation, but a consequence of the room being perhaps too cosy on the top floor, i.e. there was no room for bedside lights. But there again, it wasn't far from the main light switch to the bed....

Perfect for my layover for an early flight. Decor is not modern but I loved it - you can really tell that this is an independent family run hotel that is proud of its history and location. Spotlessly clean. Great air con. Comfy beds. Lots of hot water and a powerful shower. Everything I needed. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again. Staff couldn't help me enough. Asked if I needed help with an airport transfer the next morning. I enjoyed the walk from the airport to the hotel and said I'd like to walk back before my flight but there was a section of main road without a pavement. The friendly guy behind reception talked me through a short detour using local tracks showing me on google maps. Wowza what service!

Breakfast was very good, compared to other similar level hotels that we stayed in different countries during our trip. Room is cozy, and the hotel itself is nice. in front of our room we had a farm. Availability of GUEST KITCHEN was very helpful, and I think not only for us, because we noticed, other families were having their dinner inthe kitchen as well.

The farm in front of the hotel started working too early, and all the night we smelled the cows :-D although we had an option to close the window, and turn the AC, which I guess would somehow help with the smell. but we got a village experience. We woke up as roosters started calling :-)

Traditional hotel run by a wonderfully kind and helpful family who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The most comfortable bed, high quality pillows and linens and beautiful decor and furnishings throughout. There is an out of hours guest kitchen for guests to prepared their own food and drinks should they choose to. However, there are not grocery stores or restaurants close by. There is a vending machine selling snacks and dehydrated noodles and pasta if you don’t manage to get to the shop. The breakfast is hearty and varied. This hotel is close to the airport and offers optional paid transfers. It’s close to public bus stop too making visits to Ljubljana city and other areas easy. The hotel is located in beautiful countryside next to a stream. Access to lovely walks and cycle routes using the hotel as a base. A welcome change from the soulless big international corporate chain hotels. Would highly recommend.

Well located from the airport. If you prefer a rural little stay. From Ljubljana bus station (3.50€) to Volopje. Walk 5mns to the hotel. There are food delivery options (0.55cents delivery fees). If not, you can walk to Brnik along the countryside road to the minimarket - Mercator and bar before 5pm (you can buy fresh sandwiches). The breakfast at the hotel is lovely, lots of options. The family run hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. To get to the airport, you can book a transfer for 15€ per car. Or take the bus, but do check the timetables in the Arriva websites as there aren’t many buses. Walking is also an option (50mms walk).

Perfect location just minutes away from the airport for our morning flight. Staff were friendly and helpful, pointing out the locations of a small grocery store and nearby restaurants. Our room was spacious with comfortable (perhaps a little firm) beds, great pillows, space to unpack, decent wifi and tv channels. The hotel, and neighborhood, was very quiet. Breakfast was buffet-style with a multitude of offerings, all fresh and tasty, and served starting at 6:00am, which was appreciated since we had to leave by 7. Parking spots right on property.

The shower didn't have a door or curtain, resulting in a wet floor in the rest of the bathroom.

We had an early flight out the next day, so wanted a place near the airport. This fit the bill perfectly. We left too early to experience their breakfast, so can't speak to that. However the place was charming, staff were nice, and bed was very comfortable.

no shower curtain and the shower head would point to the opening if you turned it on, so you had to hold it in your hand the entire time you were taking your shower. would be nice if either there was a shower curtain or a way to fix the position of the shower head so it didn't move when you turned on the water.

We loved this chalet style B&B very close to Ljubliana Airport. Location is super- under 10 minutes but very quiet and no aircraft noise. Amazingly lovely staff and a great breakfast. Comfortable family room (they have at least two 4 person rooms). Reception staff spoke great English. Would highly recommend and would stay again. There is also a guest kitchen you can use to prepare meals eg in the evening if you wish to, and a dining area for this purpose.

Nothing. It was great. Quite typical mountain decor and art is not modern, but that's not the vibe here.

So close to Ljubljana airport. And no traffic. Mrs Jagodic was at the desk in the morning and evening. Very nice lady. The room was small but perfect for my needs. Super clean bedroom and bathroom. Super neat bedding. Breakfast was fine too. Nice dining room, too. I stayed at a neighboring place a couple years ago and Jagodic Garni was tisockrat better! Will use again.

I got a parking space at 8pm. But it might be more difficult later on.

Booked this at the very last minute (within 30 minutes of arrival) was greeted with amazing customer service by this family owned hotel. Comfortable room with nice ensuite. Fast wifi and the buffet breakfast was so good!!! Close to airport so its €8-10 euro for a taxi or if you cant get one they offer a drop off service for €15 Id recommend if you have an early flight the next day 100%
