Very reserved and quite hotel, it gives you the perfect sense of relax and holiday in Crete. It is located close to the beach and to all services. The food is amazing and the staff is always kind and friendly. Rooms are clean and wide.

When very full, the service at the restaurant was slightly slow. There is no beach service, but you can rent sun beds for a small price.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights and really liked our room. The view was also nice. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts were very good, with a wide variety of options. Unlike some other hotels, there weren’t meaningless items added just for the sake of variety. All the staff were very attentive — from the receptionists to the breakfast team, housekeeping, and those working around the pool and bar. We hope to come back again.

This establishment is an exceptional example of high end modern living, yet very close to all the simple things that make the Greek summer a unique experience for all Greek and International tourists. The sea, the seafood, the slow life and warm hospitality and most of all the sun, the dramatic landscape and evening colors. The quality of all facilities is as good as it gets and the establishment stands out in this small seaside village close to Chania. The hospitality of all staff and especially Maria is wonderful. Sleeping was great and the breakfast is very rich and focused on the local ingredients and delicacies. If this is within your budget, do not think twice.

Breakfast very nice. All tastes catered for. Very fresh and inviting. Beautiful poolside spot to enjoy it. Very nice service. Would be nice if cappucino was included. We were charged €8 each time for cappucino (x2) with breakfast which seems a bit much.

The loft bedrooms have a bed up quite a lot of stairs and the bathroom downstairs! Which isn’t ideal at our age. I would ask for a room all on one level next time. But probably absolutely fine for younger people. The hotel is on a road, but everything is, as almyrida is literally built on a small road next to the beach. But it does mean wherever you look there is a car park! Which at peak prices, mid summer, I would find unpleasant. I don’t want to look over a car park for my €€€€ per night! Almyrida should be cleaned up and pedestrianised. The cars make parts of it a mess. Aloe suites does its best to overcome this.

The location is a bit unfortunate as the restaurants and area nearby are very touristy and not so authentic. There was a very very good restaurant right across the street! But the rest was average. I suggest having a car to explore the surroundings.

2nd year in a row we stayed here and it was just as perfect as last year. The location of the hotel is ideal, with just a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bars which are all great too! But the hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are spacious and bright with very comfortable beds. Also cleaned to a very high standard daily. The pool area is lovely, very relaxed and plenty of space for everyone. The breakfast is varied and delicious - especially liked the Sunday champagne breakfast. The lunch, dinner and drinks options all are amazing and spoilt for choice. The staff make everything perfect, they are so friendly and so helpful! From the money you arrive until you sadly leave they make the whole time happy & relaxing. We also used the spa treatments available and was very impressed!

Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations. The staff, the room, the pool area, we could not have asked for a better holiday. Location also was great, the hotel is located on a strip full of cute restaurants and just half hour away from Chania center. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but breakfast and lunch were great.

Before arriving at the hotel we thought other guests were being picky complaining about the coffee at breakfast, however we ended up finding ourselves fully agreeing to the other reviews on this topic. Breakfast is great with a lot of options, though if you are a coffee enthusiast you will find the coffee from the machine really undrinkable. The coffee machine in the breakfast area should be changed.

We really enjoyed our time at Aloe. The hotel is well located so that you have both a nice view of the sea from the restaurant from which you can see the sunset and a pool that gets very warm in the afternoon. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. We would say that the highlight of the stay were the food and cocktails - they are not only beautifully presented but surprisingly high in quality and tasty for their price. We also liked the fact that the hotel puts on different events throughout the week such as a “clubbing” night with street food and a DJ on Thursdays and a live concert by a local singer on Saturdays.

Hotel extremely clean. Superb location for shops in the town and directly on the beach. Rooms exceptionally clean. Check in and out process best I have experienced of any hotel. Friendly staff, very helpful with booking things like taxis and trips. Lovely pool.

Walls very thin, easy to hear noise from neighbours. Service in the restaurant variable depending on which member of staff serving, and at times slow, some lack of initiative with serving and clearing away plates. Staff overall friendly though. Themed nights food quality not as good as the standard evening menu.

What an amazing place to stay. Me and my wife spend our honeymoon at this lovely small hotel. The hotel is adults only. It is quite and has a great vibe. In the evening there is always a program related to music and food with a Greek twist to it. The staff is so friendly. They show interest in you and make small conversations, which is great. They all work with a big genuine smile which we really appreciated! The beds were a little bid too soft for us... however, we are used to sleep on really firm beds... The breakfast was amazing! Definitely recommend that. One last amazing thing... no need to get up early to put your towel on the sun-beds. There are enough available beds and sofas around the pool during the day, even the more luxury kingsized beds with curtains were available if you choose to go to the pool during the afternoon! Great!! Definitely our recommendation and thanks for giving us an amazing honeymoon!
