This hotel is amazing!!! We spent our honeymoon here, it was 14 beautiful days what we never forget! The staff was sooo friendly and kind to us. ❤️ They were there if we had any issues. You can wake up with the birds singins (every morning we watch the sunrise and spent around 30 minutes in the balcony and just watching the birds ❤️) it has a daily room cleaning, the pool is also amazing! If we ever go back to PDC, 1000% that we will book this room again ❤️ also the 5th avenue shops and restaurants are in 10min walk, so everything was just perfect!! ❤️

We had 14 days here, so the ONLY thing what I could mention, there's not much choice in the breakfast, but if you are staying for the couple of days, it's gonna be ok :) (if you had a longer stay just like us, just try Bajo Café which is 5 min walk from the hotel! ❤️)

We loved it so much that we start our Mexico trip here and then decided to come back to finish our trip here. The breakfast was amazing and the beach is just across the street. The rooftop pool was small but super clean and the area to chill around the pool was amazing. Cielo y Mar will always be special for us because my fiancé proposed to me while we were there, in Playa del Carmen. We will come back for sure.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

The rooms are huge, super clean and comfortable! The balcony and the rooftop view were a huge plus. The hotel location is outside of the busy and loud touristic area, within walking distance to 3 of the nicest public beaches. You are also close to the main street where you can take taxi or colectivos, or 10 minutes bike ride to the center. I felt safe in the area. The staff was so friendly and helpful all the time!

I only take 1 point out because during our 5 days stay 4 days our room had trouble with the water supply. It was fixed super fast after reporting it. The included breakfast is great. My only suggestion would be to change it a bit from day to day. Having different fruit, ham or cheese options is nicer than having the exact same options everyday during long stay. Again, it’s just my suggestion for improvement :)

I liked the location, its about 45minutes walk from ADO but via the promenade and it's away from the noisy part of 5th avenue. its close tovthe beach and like 10min walk ti Esmeralda beach which was the nicest at the time we were there (also in terms of sargassum). I liked that there was water available and beach towels. the room was very spacious and clean. it has nice rooftop as well.

I give 8 only because of the breakfast. Just one type of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cheese. ham and toasted bread. For a day or two it's ok but for a longer stay it wouldn't be. And it destroys experience a bit.

beautifully quiet place, away from the buzzle of downtown. 5 minutes to an amazing beach as well as 5 minutes to Avenida 5 if you want to stroll and look for shops/restaurants etc. The staff was exceptional, the guests quiet and respectful. We were on the 3rd floor and had a view of the ocean, the rooftop pool and view was great. It was clean, bright and with a door to the outside stairs we always had a comforting breeze. It can get hot and humid, so the AC was helpful too.

There was nothing NOT to like, but I would suggest a few extra towel racks or (wooden racks) to hang towels and clothing. And although the fridge and two sets of plates/cutlery was sufficient, there was not room or tools to prep your own food (we have some dietary requirements and usually book a larger kitchenette).

Absolutely LOVED this place. I stayed in the penthouse, a 50 inch tv, amazing balcony, super nice and everything new. The best was super cosy, and so was the sofa! I highly recommended this place. Great views, and quiet. I slept the whole night with the doors open to hear the ocean. I will be back again real soon! I had a staycation, and picked this place to unwind my brain. After originally booking somewhere else that day, to what I did not like, I chose this place second and I couldn’t have been happier! My lesson pay a little more for better, it will never disappoint. Thank you for such a great time. :)

I like a lot of things but it wasn’t as good this time . This is probably my 6th time

Apparently they have to keep covers over the drains to keep the bugs out . I have to remember to take them off or it floods . So I took them off and there are big giant moths that look like leaves(just one or 2) and there was less fruit at breakfast . Also booking dot com is apparently terrible . Lots of fishing schemes follow them and I got messages for the whole month. I was a disappointed that my second room had no towels .. and the gave them to me but they are stingy . I am spoiled at home and at the gym . I love clean dry towels ..

Amazing views over jungle toward Cozumel from higher level rooms. Big room with plenty of space and sitting areas. Lovely balcony with comfy rocking chairs. Two bathrooms was a pleasant surprise. Location really nice during the daytime with plenty of pedestrians, bikes, and dogs passing by along the path near Playa 72 and Playa 88. Quiet, relaxed space. Free breakfast included fruits, cereals, and coffee.

Electricity was out for most of the evening (Playa del Carmen seems to prioritize tourist area over this residential neighborhood, unfortunately). Basic beach cruiser bikes could be free instead of 150 pesos, especially during power outages. Location not quite as nice after dark, so the hotel is best for active daytime people like us, not late night partiers.

The rooms are very spacious, well equipped and clean. The higher rooms and the rooftop have a wonderful seaview. The rooftop offers a kitchen, a small pool and sunbeds to relax. The hotel is not directly at the beach, but only a small walk away and the closest beaches are all publicly accessible and free of charge, even with some sun-umbrellas for free. The breakfast buffet is rich and of good quality.

The reception is only occupied during certain hours, thus check-in is only possible during certain time periods. The accommodation is located a short walk away from the town center on the main road and the closest access to the beach is also a short walk away.

We thought the location was great. It was a little bit outside the tourist center which we appreciated. We could walk to some nearby restaurants within about 20 minutes. The room was very clean and they even upgraded us to an ocean view because it was our honeymoon! We really appreciated that. They also left cute towel arrangements every day which was a super nice touch. The staff were warm and welcoming and very communicative with us about our arrival even though we got in late it was completely fine. They stayed to let us in.

I don't really have anything negative to say. We enjoyed our stay.
