Location was excellent! Right in the middle of Bayeux. Hotel restaurant was very good and convenient. Easy walk to where most tours depart. Room had good space and was pretty modernized.

Really can’t think of anything significant. Staff works both the restaurant and the hotel so there may a slight delay in check in.

Location is fantastic for exploring Bayeux itself and the Normandy beaches etc. Nice staff, everything clean and quite modern. Good restaurant on site, with reasonably priced good breakfast available. Free parking is about an 8 minute walk away, but this was not a problem. View from the bedroom window is attached showing the excellent location.

The room itself was tiny compared to the images shown during the booking process. Not enough space to even unpack our clothes for a 5 day stay. Very disappointed when we were shown to our room. Having said that, the room was well equipped, with a modern bathroom, a coffee maker, a small TV, and - very important - controllable air conditioning. No space for anything else ..... We did get used to it after a couple of days and it became less important, but it was quite a shock initially.

The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The room location was at the front, first floor so had a view of the cathedral which is close, luckily they stop the chimes and bells overnight! The canopy for the restaurant was outside our window so there was noise around 8am and 11pm as they wind it in and out but it was a matter of seconds and didn't disturb us. Breakfast was a great spread and choice of cold meats. cheeses and pastries along with egg/bacon and cereals. The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful speaking good english.

The bathroom was tiny and there was a big step up and down from the shower which could be difficult for some people, but we managed OK. Every morning around 8am the cleaning staff gathered at the store cupboard next to our room so there was lots of chatter and voices for 5-10 mins each day but as we were just waking around that time it was OK but not if you wanted to sleep in longer. The hotel does not have parking and whilst they say "parking is available", this is at a cost and if it a vacant space can be found nearby, it could be made clearer in their advert. My own research and clarifying with the hotel beforehand, confirmed free parking 8 mins away on the outskirts of town which worked fine for us but may not suit older less able guests.

Idyllic setting in downtown Bayeux, a block from the Cathedral. Front desk staff was extremely capable and helpful. We were steps away from fantastic restaurants and shops. We saw this was rated a 2-star hotel but we’d easily give it a 4. Everything exceeded our expectations.

There’s nothing that we did not like. Perhaps some would prefer more services, but everything was a stone’s throw from this location. We were also fortunate that the 6th stage of the Tour was coming through town and they were all preparing for the onslaught of people.

The location was ideal being close to all the sights, the restaurants and all tour company meeting locations. The local supermarket is within 2 blocks. Their restaurant is reasonably priced and very popular. Our room was small, but comfortable with air conditioning. The breakfasts are well worth the 15 euro price and are served from 7AM. The train station is about a 15 minute walk on level sidewalks. We had two large suitcases and had no problems.

The stairs and small room, but this was a minor inconvenience

We stayed in the Annex and liked the fact that the room had a separate seating area away from the bedroom. Since my husband wakes up earlier than I do that worked very well for us. The room was also larger than many European hotels and we also liked that.

I was surprised that the annex did not have an elevator and we had to carry our luggage up and down the three flights of stairs. Since we were in Europe for 2 weeks, we had larger than carry-on bags. Otherwise the property was very nice.

The sweet lady at the front desk helped us immensely. It was located In this perfect little town. Conveniently attached to a restaurant. Breakfast, buffet style was available and very good. Our room was clean and comfortable.we paid 20 EU extra to add a bed for our 8 year old.

The restaurant was attached and was convenient, but food was pretty bland. The hostess on that side was rude and dismissive. We ordered a crepe to go. She proceeds to roll eyes. Then, brings it back tossed in a half closed peice of foil. I asked for the whip creme and bananas we paid for??? and a fork?? Nothing.. .she shrugged and walked away after saying she doesn't have that..honestly I was too road weary to deal with her..

Great location. A typical French hotel outside Paris. Good restaurant. Room was good and roomy. Not one of those too small rooms we sometimes find. Restaurant was very busy because it had good food and was reasonably priced and did not take reservations. It was a very active place and that was just fine for us. Not a quiet, white table cloth kind of place. The town is a very nice place, "old as dirt" and undamaged by WWII. We spend 3 days there and that was about enough for us. We went back to Paris after then, which is where we spend most of our time when in France.

A bit hard to find a place for the car. We just parked on the "belt line" road around the town and walked 10 minutes into the hotel. It would have been great if we knew this before we tried to park in the middle of the town near the hotel. Once we figured out how it worked, we were just fine parking out there. The whole town is very walkable and there is no need for a car while staying there.

Friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant central location everywhere in Bayeux was within walking distance from the hotel. Lovely restaurant, nice food with a good buzzy atmosphere. Excellent AC in the bedroom, and the room had a great coffee machine too. Housekeeping was happy to give us extra coffee pods as well. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was comfy and fresh. The room had a reasonable sized desk to work from if required.

The shower cubicle was small as was the whole shower room. There was not a full length mirror in the room either. Could do with more storage and hanging space. Although the hotel had a terrific central location for tourists to explore Bayeux, the consequence of this made our room quite noisy but not unacceptable.

The hotel is kind of quirky but cute. We stayed in another building on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the main market street with lots of restaurants and also close to the Bayeaux Tapestry. It is also close to the area where all the Normandy tours depart from. We thought the hotel was very well located. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel twice. It is a very popular place and always packed.

There was no elevator in the building. Parking was a good 15 minute walk away.
