The location is perfect for going to MacKerricher State Park or Russian gulch or Fort Bragg. I was with two other people who got their own rooms as we were getting together with a group of people who were at the campgrounds. It was very convenient - Safeway is a minute and a half away as is a Starbucks, and Fort Bragg downtown (very cute and interesting shops, nice cafes) is just a little further. I’m not really a swimmer, but they do have an indoor pool and I might’ve tried the heated Jacuzzi if I had planned it in advance.

It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was more than enough for a good night's rest. Everything looked clean, the bed was very comfortable, check in was very quick and painless. I didn't have a chance to use the pool, but I saw it through the window, and it looked clean.

The only thing I can think of is that the room was surprisingly stuffy, but I opened up the door to the balcony and the window and it cooled down quickly so it wasn't a real issue. Also, there was a tub, but there was no way to plug the water from going down, so that was odd, but also not a big issue.

The pool was clean and orderly. I liked that the room didn’t have any cosmetic flaws I often see in fixtures, particularly in the bath area. I was glad to see the dispenser in the shower which meant they care about the environment. The ice machine worked perfectly and the area was clean. Parking was easy and the office was welcoming. The staff listened to my suggestion about the alarm clock. I liked that the fridge was in a cabinet so any incidental noise from it was muffled.

The clock was not something I thought I had to check but its alarm did go off at 8 AM! I did not set it and was hoping to catch more sleep after a night of noise from a neighboring room. The maids or someone should be sure that the alarm is not set before check in or perhaps eliminate the clocks altogether. The people in 214 made a horrific amount of noise from 9 PM to 11:15 PM. I’m not blaming the hotel. But it did affect my enjoyment of the room.

Very friendly front desk staff. Check-in process was fast and smooth. Room was clean and bedsheets were fresh. Breakfast was okay (could have been better). There was also a modern coffee machine in room. We did not have noisy neighbors, so it was quiet and peaceful stay. There is Round table pizza (which we went for dinner) and there are other places to eat very close by.

Bed was comfy, pillows were excellent! Sheets were WHITE and clean the room was a good size The shampoo and conditioner provided were good to our hair,the hot water was so nice,on our tired body friving many hours breakfast was actually surprisingly Delicious,the view from balcony facing the ocean was a gift,i would stay there again!

There really wasnt a thing that popped out as a con the place had human employees unlike the previous one i stayed at so kuddos for humanity

The breakfast was decent. The staff were fantastic. The property appeared in good shape, though dated. Everything worked! The beds were comfortable.

Though it was nice to have a privacy fence for each downstairs room, it was not a very inviting space. However, it did it's job blocking the street.

It’s a lil run down; looks like rooms are being updated as we speak. I requested an accessible room due to being disabled - they confirmed and then gave me a msg about not having a room as described. Once we arrived, I was told I needed to “upgrade” in order to get a downstairs & accessible room. That was an additional $29+ which more or less negated the great $109 total price I paid upon booking. * a grey sock from previous guest left behind and missed by housekeeping. ( pic)

The location was great right at the edge of town across from the ocean. The pool and hot tub were good, not in great shape but good. Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave

The facility was a bit rundown, not smelly but not clean. Bed was hard and pillows were flat.

Loved the clean, comfortable room, and excellent water temperature and shower pressure. Very centrally located, warm and helpful service from the front desk, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking.

Breakfast was just ok, I wasn't a huge fan of the eggs they provided, and the coffee was on the weaker side, but my daughter loved the waffle station.

I loved the balcony overlooking the sunsets on the ocean. I usually stay at a diffferent, more expensive hotel nearby but it was sold out for this last minute trip. I was super impressed at how clean and HUGE the room was for the price. It is definitely dated, but still very cozy, quaint and the views from my King room with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The indoor pool was a nice treat that I used every night I was there. I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to staying here again. I will definitely be back!

I was really happy with everything. The room was super comfortable. I can't say I disliked anything about my stay here at the Seabird.
