The staff are great. Everyone is extremely helpful. The breakfast is fantastic with a big selection of all kinds of different things. Location in the railway station is ideal if you are cross-country skiing because the buses to the various areas stop outside and you can go somewhere different every day! The room was pleasant, quiet and clean.

The communal kitchen wasn't as well-equipped as in previous years. I don't know whether guests have stolen things! But there were no knives suitable for preparing food, no oven-proof dishes to cook things in, or oven trays or aluminium foil to cover the oven shelf. There used to be salt and pepper which would be so helpful. Also there were no tea towels for drying dishes and nothing to take things out of the oven with (tea towel or oven gloves). The fridges should be emptied more often too as there was food with use by dates from November still in there which had been left by guests.

This is very minimalistic yet cute room located in the upper floors of Lillehammer railway station. Despite the fact that we were literally at the railway station, if was fairly calm there. Furthermore, I was positively surprised how much could be fitted in such a small room.

The only disappointment, but a big disappointment, was the bathroom. The ventilation was running really slowly (we noticed that the ventilator was running only thanks to the sound). The opening of the shower corner was also a bit tricky.

The location is very convenient when travelling by train, or when taking the bus to the ski areas. The room was quite and spacious. The hotel restaurant is a good and quick solution to get good food at a decent price, without having to walk into town with all the kids. The guests kitchen is also a good added value, although we didn't really use it.

There was only a very small closet, and for 5 people it's definitely not enough to store clothes. Cleaning could be improved.

It is a fascinating breed, combining the old station building with a modernist hostel, in which everything is stripped to the essential, without loosing the comfort one seeks for the purpose of resting. The people working there have been friendly and helpful all the way. I quite liked this way of budget oriented stay. It’s all very central, and we explored the town easily from there.

For a two star hotel I didn´t have big expectation - so I really liked it. The breakfast was excelent, everything I needed and capucino was even included in the price - I love that. The guest kitchen was really nice and cosy. The location is perfect - easy to take the bus to all the skiing places I wanted to visit. . It is a VERY good value for the money. The staff was very helpful and nice. I will be back. Thank you.

I really liked everything compare to a two star hostel.

Great budget option literally in the train station. It took me a minute to realize that you check-in at the train station restaurant. Nice breakfast in the morning, coffee and tea facilities in a shared kitchen. Windows were very good - train noise not bothersome at all. Good climate control.

One of the bedside lights wasn't working. The room is very basic (almost like a hostel, but private), but I expected that based on the price.

Very convenient and comfortable. We stayed just for a night as we were passing through. Obviously the location is perfect for convenience if you're traveling by train. Very friendly staff and clean basic rooms with comfortable beds. We did not try the breakfast as we left very early.

Nothing, it ticked all the boxes for us.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the cafe one night- the food was lovely. On our secind night we cooked in the kitchen- the facilites are excellent. We left behind an i pad when we checked out and when we phoned later in the day, ths staff quickly located it and kept it safe for us.

We stayed there in a transit as it was located at the station. Staff was excellent. The common room was well-equipped. Restaurant was good.

Not so good as far as the value of money is concerned. TV was not working. Breakfast was included but needs way more improvements.

Staff was friendly. I didn't have towels in my room but receptionist fixed that right after I told her. Room was clean and nice for one night stay. Breakfast was great, you can find there everything (eggs, yougurt, fruit/ vegetables.. everything you want :)) I had room near the tracks at train station but I didn't hear any noise. Nice place to stay. :)
