I got a room upgrade. Then i lived 4 days on about 37 square meters. It was nice and clean. For a hotel, the gym is absolutely amazing! In general, it is equipped absolutely up to date. The breakfast was good. A big offer. The quality of the bread, rolls and the scrambled egg could be better. The included dinner was nice. It did not vary much during my stay, but i was really happy about that dinner every eveing. All in all: Between my expectation and what i got, this was my best hotel experience since the year 2009, no doupt. And i had lots of Hotels since then.

Both breakfast and dinner buffets were very good considering the pricing of this hotel. A nice selection of dishes, especially greens and vegetables but the meat dishes were also fine - the ratatouille and pulled beef stood out as very well done and savoury. We went to PlanetStaden mostly for the spa experience and it didn't disappoint, at least not for the price (750 SEK for 2 adults and a child). Other, dedicated spas may have more amenities and features but this one had the essentials and wasn't crowded - in fact, we had it to ourselves for the half day that we booked. We initially went for a superior room but upgraded to family which was a good choice - the family room (apartment, really) has a double bed and two separate beds along with a small in-room kitchen and a spacey bathroom.

The cleaning could have been slightly better but maybe that's to be expected given the "green profile" and opt-in cleaning schedule of this hotel. Overall, small flaws in the cleaning regimen doesn't detract much from the overall positive experience to me.

The hotel is very cozy and clean. On the ground floor there is a reception with very friendly staff, a large restaurant, a spa and many areas where you can sit and drink delicious coffee. Breakfast in the restaurant is simply wonderful, there is a lot of varied food and everyone can choose what they like. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view from the window where you could watch a beautiful sunset.The room has everything you need: ironing board and iron, enough hangers and drawers for clothes, large TV with many channels, desk and comfortable chairs. There is also a kitchenette in the room, which is hidden in a closet, making it invisible to the interior. The mini kitchen has a stove, kettle, cups, a small refrigerator, as well as a small set of tea and coffee and 2 mini chocolates.The bathroom is very large with heated floors and a chair, plenty of towels, body lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel + hairdryer. The design of the room itself is very interesting.

We have one small wish: there would be a little more sweets at breakfast, such as cookies or sweet buns.

Rooms are large and clean. Bathroom is well-equipped and very clean too. The hotel is located slightly away from the busier parts of Lund. Hence it's very quiet at night. I used e-scooters to move around and there is an parking with enough scooters 50m away from the hotel. Breakfast was ok-ish (not lavish) in selection but very good in quality (eggs, cheeses, jam, yoghurt). Plenty of coffee as much as you can drink. What's nice is that they serve dinner every day as if you were at home: dinner is served (i.e. 1 menu; take it or leave it). I eat everything so I liked it. Quality was very high.

Maybe this is a cultural thing but I think some service could be more proactive. People behind the registration desk ignore you unless you explicitly draw their attention. They are also more interesting in chatting among each other instead of keeping an eye on their lobby to keep it in a good condition. I had to search for a place to sit without dirty glasses nearly every time I bought a drink in the lobby. There was plenty of staff available but it seems as if they were waiting from someone else to come and pick up the empty glasses and tidy up the lobby. Service in the restaurant area was impeccable though. People work hard, everything was spotless and the food stations were constantly being replenished.

Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel seems to be renovated, very clean everywhere and nice restaurant. Bed was excellent, bath also. Dinner options also suitable for vegetarians, service staff very polite and friendly. Portions quite big, prices are moderate. Breakfast was very good.

We had a room, that was suitable for guests with dogs. This really is only a personal opinion, but the room had the vibe of a doctor's waiting room. But again, this is just my perception. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Exceptional room with sauna. Missing a ladle, but usable. Breakfast was a little scarce and served in the "food court", same with the included dinner. Food selection is poor with a mix of scandinavian "home cooking" and some essentials. The staff was more than accomodating with supplying an alternative to the fish served due to my allergy. The quality of the food was excellent though. Spa and gym on premises were well stocked and all good. The parking solution is less thought through but after some initial "setting up", the stay is great.

The room didn't have any information folder nor was there any information screen on the tv, so getting to terms with how the stay works was slightly hindred. The security for reaching the gym includes a separate nfc device when the room keycard should be enough (but it is a good way to have separate gym and hotel guests). Breakfast could use better selection of pastries, keep the food served warm better (meatballs for breakfast were cold an hour after opening service). More allergy friendly dinner alternatives would also be good. Parking should have a better system and not require a 3rd party registration and should be handled from reception.

The sauna in my room was nice, as well as the kitchenette.

My room wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. The decor could use an uplift. The curtains were damaged. My floor wasn’t clean in some corners, as there was hair and some dirt behind. My showers had some mildew and mold in the cracks and creases of the tiles. The food options were minimal; mostly the same for dinner and breakfast daily.

- The staff did an amazing job despite it being a bit of a zoo on New Years. They worked very very hard and a lot. Their bosses should recognize this. They were polite and curtious and professional despite being stretched thin. In short, they're a wonderful team! And we told them as much! :0) - The gym was wonderful, very impressed you can get a proper workout. - The room was cleaned very well, it was spacious, well renovated and the beds were super comfy. - The dinner and breakfast were both excellent with excellent variety and we really enjoyed it.

- The parking turned to a paying carpark by the council over NY which stressed my hubby out a little and he was out there at 1am trying to get it going. It should probably be updated on bookings that it is no longer free as it was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel. - We booked for 3, 2 adults and a 16 year old (we always include our child in the booking) but she had no towels or bed in the room. No biggy, we whipped back down to reception and, the wonderful staff fixed their mistake immediately. - More English tv channels (or even French) would be helpful.

The location is good, very close to the exit of N20 highway. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is high efficiency. There is a special policy to get a local gift or donation when choosing to save the everyday cleaning. I choose to have a chocolate and a glass of Coke.

The swimming pool costs extra expense, it would be better to mention it when booking or provide a choice with swimming and hotel room charge together.

It was big with all you can need with restaurant, brakfast, some snacks, spa and a spacious area to hang out. The bed was comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful.

It was a bit warm in the room at night but im a person who likes it a bit colder than normal. It was a bit far from the city but i knew when i booked so not really an issue. I would have liked if they had more late snack options.
