Amazing little gem! Super rooms, great staff, good breakfast and so on. We’re already planning our next stay. If you’re looking for a place away from the crowds to relax this is the place to go. Wish we would have stayed more than 6 nights! Gozo and Maria’s BnB is amazing!!

This is actually not a negative thing as we wanted to be away from the crowds. But keep in mind that this place is a bit secluded. You need a car or take Ubers around (as we did). But it was fairly cheap and easy. 10 minute walk to a supermarket that have most things. Unfortunately we had some issues with some very noisy guests for a couple of days, but the staff did a great job to help with the situation.

We loved staying at this BnB! Every morning the staff would offer fresh orange juice and freshly made eggs / english breakfast (honestly, whatever you fancied that morning) in addition to the normal breakfast buffet. It was delicious! The pool area outside is wonderful, and we were lucky enough to often have it to our own during the day, as most guests had decided to do sightseeing during the days. We also met the owners, Victor and Sonia, and both are such a delight! The room, we stayed in, was so cozy, and we felt at home straight away. Can only recommend this accommodation, and I hope, we'll get to visit again in the future.

The old-world charm of the establishment is a real plus. The room is really beautiful and well equipped with all you need (even an air conditioner). Victor and Sonia are adorable and always available to help with any recommandations/problems. All the staff have the same energy. The pool area is just what you'd expect from a place like this. Street parking is very easy, and although the accommodation is in a very quiet, secluded location, it's very easy to get to the more lively areas nearby.

As it's an old building, it can be noisy when the wind picks up, and the wifi connection sometimes has trouble getting through given the thickness of the walls, but this is just a small detail that doesn't detract from the charm and perfection of this place.

From beginning to end this accommodation and experience was 5*. Communication was excellent and we were checked in by the lovely Sonia. We were blown away with how lovely the accommodation was - attention detail was amazing! We were in room 4 and the space was exactly what we needed with a lovely comfortable chairs to sit on an evening. Yes the accommodation is first class but what makes this property stand out was the staff. From Lilly and Jenny serving our wonderful breakfast in the morning and the most beautiful soul (Sonia’s husband) Victor. He was so passionate about the history of Malta and Gozo, we loved his recount of it all, and the lovely stories of him growing up and working in Gozo. We will miss him having breakfast back in the uk! You are also in for treat with Sonia’s delicious cakes she makes fresh everyday- out of this world!

It was all fantastic

Amazing 400 year old building with so much attention to detail. Every little corner of the whole property was so thoughtful and beautifully done, and also spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable, fantastic shower, love the many seating areas. Such friendly hosts and staff. There is a well equipped kitchen specifically for guest use and every room gets designated space in the fridge (separate from the breakfast kitchen). Quiet and peaceful part of Gozo, but easy to get anywhere on the island by car. We would come back without hesitation and will recommend to our friends and family!

This accommodation is worth trying because it has a soul. Every part of it is fascinating, each for a different reason. The garden is so beautiful that I would gladly spend days just there. The buildings are very historic, with furnishings that match the atmosphere. The owners are very kind. Since I arrived late, Sonia sent me detailed instructions and even a video explaining how I could enter. Victor was there every morning in person. He had kind words and helpful tips for everyone, and his cheerful, friendly style always lifted our spirits. The staff members are also kind and smiling. At breakfast, everything is delicious and high quality. Every day, Victor’s wife makes homemade cakes. If you're not looking for a boring hotel breakfast with a cold atmosphere, and prefer nature and peace, away from the world, this place is perfect. This was the most special place I have ever stayed in my life.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria’s b&b. Stayed for four nights but wished we could’ve stayed longer. Such a peaceful location, with beautiful views out over the valley from all around. The room was immaculate, with powerful shower and really comfy bed. Breakfasts at Maria’s are a real treat, made fresh to order, and Victor will even give you a Maltese history lesson while you eat if you’re interested. He is a wealth of knowledge about the local area and Malta in general. Would love to return. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The place is authentic and beautiful. It is located at a nice neighborhood. The cute garden, swimming pool, as well as shared lounge areas, and kitchen, make the place a true gem. Breakfast is not to be missed! In addition to the buffet selections, we could also order freshly pressed juice, nice coffee, freshly cooked English breakfast, omelette, etc. Having a nice breakfast in the beautiful garden was such a treat, and it's the best way to start a day :) But the most precious is the staff. Everyone there was super friendly and attentive. They also went out of their way to offer extra help. Knowing that I came on my own with a bus, Sonia even offered to pick me up at the bus station.

An absolutely incredible place to stay for a quite, peaceful time. The staff is amazing. The breakfast is as good as everyone is telling you about. The whole place has this unique vibe around it.

It has nothing to do with the place, but keep in mind that the place is remote, the public transport station is nearby, but the buses are unreliable and are scheduled once every hour. So I would suggest staying here if you have your own transport :)

A wonderful B&B, beautiful decor and spacious. Everything you need. Victor is an asset to the B&B, friendly and chatty, nothing too much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the island with lots of recommendations to go! Breakfast is lovely and cooked fresh to order along with continental choices. A good location in a quiet area, a bus stop only a few minute walk away that takes you into the town. Overall, a pleasant stay and would definitely return.
