One of the best places I’ve ever stayed — hands down. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The house is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and clearly maintained with pride and care. Every detail is just right. The owners are some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met while traveling. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and relaxed — always there when you need something, but never intrusive. And then there’s the breakfast… absolutely incredible. Freshly baked bread and cakes every morning, homemade with top-quality ingredients, and served with care. Honestly, it’s worth coming here just for that. This place is peaceful, elegant, and full of heart. I’d come back in a second — highly recommended to anyone who appreciates quality, comfort, and great hospitality. Thank You Roman And Nelly for that amazing experience and all the advises.
We should have stayed longer there :)

A beautifully appointed place in a great location. The hosts were very welcoming, the room was spacious and stylishly decorated and breakfast was outstanding. It is obvious the owners put a lot of thought into the accommodation and what they offer. It has a very peaceful and relaxed vibe. Would stop here again when next in the area. It's also conveniently located for the Fisherman's Trail.
Everything was outstanding.

Loved it! The owner and staff were super gracious. They helped out with everything in order to make our trip easy, like suppling beach towels, umbrellas and chairs to connecting us with a great surf instructor. By far the best breakfast we’ve had and everything homemade. Thanks again, Roman!!
Great breakfast, clean and comfortable.

Everything! The wonderful design- it’s such a beautiful space. Breakfast is amazing. The location has access to lots of varied beaches. We loved the wilder west coast and body boarding. Roman and Nelly gave us great recommendations and we saw things we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. They also lent us boards/towels and umbrellas which was very thoughtful and much needed! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

The room and environs were gorgeous. Breakfast was absolutely delicious—sweet and savory, plentiful and varied. Our hosts made sure every detail was perfect. They even called us to let us know that we had left our phone charger in our room and offered to ship it to us. Took a wonderful yoga-lates class too. The b and b was 10 minutes from the beach in a lovely not-very-touristy cute town. It was a “10.”

Wonderful atmosphere and high quality interior and exterior. Very friendly and kind hosts, who have insider tips about the surrounding area and try to meet all the guest's expectations. One of the best (vegan) breakfast options I have ever seen, the hosts were even so kind to prepare certain plant-based options just for me. Some beach towels and umbrellas available to lend for free. Room has a little private patio outside. Great walk-in shower. Daily room service available. Everything is clean, feels comfortable and cozy. We really enjoyed our time and you will not regret staying here. Amazing place!
Our room was facing East and it was a little bit too warm for us at the end of August, despite having a fan. The other rooms did not seem to have that problem. That is why we would try to get another room next time. The bathroom door is antique and it's upper half is made of glass. When being in bed, you can see everything that is happening in the bathroom. For some couples, this might be a bit too intimate. You can work around by letting one person leave the room or using the bathroom in the common area. However, this could be easily fixed with some curtains in front of the door.

Lovely and calm place, very nicely kept with a lot of attention to details. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was great (with home made bread and jam, fresh juice, great selection of cheeses) and we could use the yoga room when there was no class ongoing, which was perfect.
We slept in the mill which was very special but if you chose to stay there, be aware that it’s rather small and there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom. For us it worked fine, but it may not be for everyone.

The stay at Moinho Calmo was a unique experience, with the stay in the windmill, that we liked very much. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The surroundings also allowed for a relaxing weekend.
Only minor: there is little storage space in the windmill itself and WIFI quality is quite low in the room itself, but still more than fine outside/ in the breakfast room.
